Unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. I was hoping for a quirky and even gossipy type read, but it was slow and not what I was expecting.

Eventhough it wasn't my kinda read, I'm sure this will appeal to others.

Included this title in the newspaper's seasonal Holiday gift books guide in the section for food and satire.

Thank you so much Netgalley for a copy of The Waiter in exchange for an honest review. The synopsis of this novel really intrigued me but unfortunately this book did not live up to my expectations. The story is slow going and I felt like there was minimal plot and character development.

I didn't like this book at all. I found it boring and had to actually force myself to read it and ended up DNF it at 30%.
