Dylann Crush is a new-to-me author but I will absolutely be reading her again!!

Quirky, kind characters, small town living, a touch of suspense and just enough steam to pique my interest but not enough to overshadow a well-written plot; this book had absolutely everything I love in a book AND it's a holiday romance. It's like I hit the book jackpot!!

The chemistry between Jinx and Cash was fantastic. I love a good opposites attract story with a quirky, unconventional heroine and a strong yet soft, kind-hearted and caring hero. The tension between them had me flipping pages like a mad woman and their unlikely compatibility kept me engrossed from beginning to end.

I will definitely be reading more books from Dylann Crush!!

Most of her life, Jinx Jacobs has been responsible for only one thing: herself. A long time ago she had been the center of someone's universe only to have it ripped away when her father died, so she's built a thick impenetrable shell in order to survive, and she makes sure to keep emotions out of the equation. When her vintage bike, the last piece she has of her father, breaks down in the small town of Holiday, Texas, she doesn’t quite know what to do with the warmth and kindness that local lawman, Cash Walker, and his family show to her. She's only staying long enough to earn the money to fix her bike, and then she's back on the road to a job waiting for her in New Orleans. But as much as she tries to remain separate and closed off, Cash's family embraces her, his daughter Kenzie charms her, and she finds the feelings she’s developing for a certain lawman quite inconvenient. Then there's the little matter of what she's hiding, and we all know the past has a way of catching up and revealing itself at the worst possible time.

The early copy I read of this book is my first by this author and, boy howdy, she sure knows how do cowboys right! This book has just the right mix of small-town charm, quirky secondary characters, enchanting storyline, and a bit of madcap hilarity thrown in for good measure. I adored the gruff but big-hearted, sexy hero and the strong and tough yet vulnerable and broken heroine. My heart went out to them both for different reasons. Cash, trying to make a good life for his daughter and having a wonderful support system in his family, but still a little hurt from the past and missing something in his life. And Jinx, having no family and no place to call home, never staying in one place too long or forming any real connections. For two such opposite people, Cash and Jinx were so amazing together!

This is one of those book worlds that, once you get a taste of it, you'll want to return to it again and again. Cash’s family is wonderful, with the typical banter and pranks between brothers, and I can’t wait to see what's in store for the remaining single men in the Walker family. The setting is great, with an array of unique, endearing characters that really brought the story to life. And what happens when you pair a pig named Pork Chop with Hendrix, the Chihuahua, her one true soul mate? Let’s just say that Holiday’s Jingle Bell Jamboree will never be the same. There’s a quaint B&B in town, and I hear they have an availability, so plan your staycation in Holiday, Texas, today!

Loved this one!! This is a fantastic story with all sorts of feels. Jinx and Cash are an unlikely pairing. She's a blue haired motorcycle riding free spirit with a troubled past. He's a responsible single dad and sheriff's deputy. Together with Cash's little girl, the quirky citizens of the little town and all the holiday magic they make a happy little unit. Is it too good to be true? Jinx thinks so knowing that at any time her past could rear its ugly head and ruined the happiness she has finally found.

Wonderful writing, amazing characters and a beautiful story makes this a must read. I highly recommend it.

I was super excited to go back to Holiday, Texas in Cowboy Christmas Jubilee!

Jinx Jacobs is headed to New Orleans after leaving a bad, dangerous situation & ex-boyfriend. When her motorcycle breaks down in Holiday, Texas none other than single father & deputy, Cash Walker & his 7 year old daughter stop to give her a ride. Jinx finds herself stranded for a while waiting for bike repairs and finding work at the Rambling Rose to pay for those repairs. Cash offers her a place to stay on his property as long as she helps tutor his daughter. Although she’s not his usual type & neither Jinx nor Cash are sure they’re ready for anything further then a one night fling, their attraction just can’t be ignored.

Honestly, at first I didn’t care for Jinx’s character. I just couldn’t get on board with her & Cash as a couple. They just didn’t fit...in my mind. However Ms Crush makes them mesh so well. I can’t believe I ever doubted them.

Cash is my absolute favorite single father character! The way he takes care of his daughter, entire family & town is the sweetest. He totally deserves his happily ever after!

Dylann Crush has quickly become an auto buy author for me. I can’t wait to see who’s story we get in the next Holiday, Texas book. I’m hoping it’s another Walker brother. Cowboy Christmas Jubilee can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend going back & checking out All-American Cowboy.

Unfortunately this was a DNF for me. I tried and, while I really liked the characters, I just didn't feel the opposites attract vibe that Crush was going for. I did find Cash as a single dad and member of the community & his family very appealing for a hero. But even though I liked Jinx's grit, her attitude about herself got a little old after a while. I get that she had a really crappy life up to this point but it didn't work for me.

This is the first book I have read by Dylann Crush, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. When I received an invitation from the publisher, via Net-Galley, the book description intrigued me, and I always love Christmas stories, especially one with a child. I was not disappointed! My opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.

I loved Cowboy Christmas Jubilee from the first page to the last. Ms. Crush’s writing is emotional and pulled at my heartstrings a lot. The plot is intriguing and kept me flipping the pages on my Kindle, waiting for what would come next. This one has a bit of a mystery to solve which is always fun. It’s a joy to read a novel where I fall in love with both characters immediately.

Jinx Jacobs is an interesting character. Her sweet and generous nature does not fit her outward appearance in the least, which made this story even better. She is a cross between spunky and waif with her sad backstory and her determination to never show any vulnerability. She clearly craves love but does not want anyone to know.

Cash Walker is a great hero. He loves his family and his little girl fiercely and would protect them with his life. He’s a true warrior at heart. When he finds he’s attracted to this mysterious stranger who clearly has plenty of secrets, he is unable to resist her.

The romance between Jinx and Cash is delightful. The chemistry between the pair sizzles. While they are opposites in so many ways, they are perfect for each other. Jinx so deserves to have such a good man. I’m so glad they found their happy ending.

If you enjoy Christmas romances with great characters, a quirky small town and an awesome plot, then you will love Cowboy Christmas Jubilee as much as I did. In fact, I liked this one so much, I just bought the audio version of the first book in this series. Happy reading!

This is a heartwarming, humorous holiday read. Jinx and Cash are great characters who fit well together. Can Cash convince Jinx that he is what she needs? Will they both let go of the past and move on with each other? This is a heartwarming read and I would recommend it.

The story was just chock full of cuteness - overly full of cuteness. The tiny dog, the precious daughter, the overwhelming Walker family - with all the children named after famous country/western singers. They kept sticking their noses into the story - no doubt setting up their own future books. The heroine was a bit too prickly while I didn't understand why the hero kept initially forcing the issue of helping her. After a while, I found my interest wandering.

A cute, fun Christmas romance. I really liked Jinx and Cash. Can't wait to read more about the Walker brothers!
Many thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

This was a really enjoyable read with great characters. I haven't read a Dylann Crush book before, but look forward to catching up with the rest of this series now.

The main characters are Jinx and Cash. Jinx has just left her current bar job and boyfriend, as he has been dealing drugs and she's had enough. So she takes her wages out of the till and heads off to another job a friend has set up for her on her Dad's old motorbike. Unfortunately the bike breaks down in a little town called Holiday and Jinx ends up working in a bar there to pay off the repair bill, getting involved with Sheriff's Deputy Cash Walker and his young daughter, along with all his very welcoming family.

Jinx has been on her own for so long she finds it hard to be around the Walker clan, but they don't let her hold back and suck her into their friendly family, even though Cash initially has reservations about her and where she came from.

I loved all the people in this story, there were some very amusing moments and also a bit of tension when the old boyfriend comes looking for Jinx. I really look forward to reading about the rest of the Walkers, especially some of the more elusive brothers, and Dylann Crush is now definitely on my reading radar!

If you love a feel-good holiday romance this is a great one to pick up. Jinx may not initially strike you are the typical holiday romance heroine but you will quickly fall in love with her, the hero Cash and Cash's adorable daughter. Both Cash and Jinx are dealing with ghosts from their past and it's heartwarming to watch them each overcome their issues and eventually find love with each other. This is book 2 in the series but I haven't read book 1 and didn't have any problem slipping into the story. This is a great romance to get you into the holiday spirits!

"Get a crush on Crush! Full of clever humor, heart and heat."--New York Times bestselling author, Lori Wilde

Merry Christmas from your new friends in Holiday, Texas:
The most celebratory town in the South!

When Jinx Jacobs's motorcycle breaks down outside Holiday, Texas, the last thing she wants is to get stuck in the cheery little town, especially during the holidays. The whole place has gone Christmas crazy, but all she has to do is stay out from under the mistletoe--and do her best to keep that unnervingly attractive cop off her back.

Single dad and sheriff's deputy Cash Walker doesn't have time for romance, and yet something about the tempting loner twists his stomach up tighter than a tangle of tinsel. He may have finally found the missing piece in his life...but with Jinx so determined to avoid putting down roots, convincing her to stay may just take a Christmas miracle.

Holiday, Texas Series:
All-American Cowboy (Book 1)
Cowboy Christmas Jubilee (Book 2)

My Thoughts

Heading back to Holiday Texas was once again like stepping into a place both familiar and soothing. A fictional small town with a huge heart, just like those who inhabit it!

Moments after Jinx Jacobs's distinctive yellow Indian motorcycle breaks down luckily for her single dad and sheriff's deputy Cash Walker is on his way home with his precocious and thoroughly charming daughter Kenzie.

Jinx never knew a town like Holiday Texas existed but when she finds herself stranded there and once again tending a bar somehow the town not only gives her a much needed refuge but as time goes on so do the people who inhabit it.

Planning on working at the Rambling Rose long enough to make enough cash to restore the treasured motorcycle that once upon a time was her Father's pride and joy, Jinx slowly but surely finds the magic that the town works on everyone has gotten it's tender hooks into her too.

Meanwhile our sheriff's deputy finds himself slowly but surely succumbing to the magic of Jinx herself, falling for the lovely barkeep even as his inner radar tells him not to.

This is an opposites attract romance with enough added charm from one lively 7-year-old and a teeny-tiny Chihuahua to keep readers satisfied as well as turning pages as quickly as they are read!

For me the best part of the book were the family moments. Not only those between Cash and the other Walkers but those with he, his daughter and Jinx. As their bond grows so do reader's expectations.

Everyone in the fictional town so aptly named Holiday Texas pulls out all the stops so be ready to enjoy your time with it's eclectic characters once again, and fall in love all over again with the Walker family while you visit.

Superbly executed from start to finish.

Loved spending time with these fictional characters and especially the scenes with Pork Chop and Hendrix as they stole the show!

Be prepared to not be disappointed as once again there is proof Christmas miracles do happen and sometimes wishes really do come true.

Particularly in Holiday Texas!

I am really impressed with this author's work. This was such a heartwarming book, it really makes you feel like anything is possible and that you don't have to let your past rule your future. I loved Cash and jinx, they were perfectly matched. They each had their own issues from the past, but did they let it get in their way? You will have to read to find out. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Jinx was running from a troubled past. All she wanted was a peaceful existence, no ties and to move on with her life. When her motorcycle breaks down in Holiday, Texas, she hadn’t expected to want to put down roots with a handsome deputy and his seven-year-old daughter, even though she knew they deserved better, after all her name was Jinx.

COWBOY CHRISTMAS JUBILEE by Dylann Crush is one of those “feel good” reads that explodes with all of the quirky charm of holiday bliss, the magic of love and the universal need to be accepted.

Fun characters parade across these pages with brotherly antics, interfering family members and a precocious little girl who knows how to play the adults around her! Two unlikely people, one a single dad whose main concern is his young daughter and a teal-haired biker chick who isn’t quite as tough as she pretends.

A perfect addition to those Holiday Romances we can never get enough of!

This story is the second in Ms Crush’s series titled Holiday, Texas, and centers around Cash Walker and Jinx Jacobs.
Cash is the town’s sheriff and single Dad to his adorable seven year old daughter, Kenzie. Jinx is motorcycle riding gal, fleeing Los Angeles and an abusive and dangerous boss/ex-boyfriend with her chihuahua Hendrix.
On her way to New Orleans, her motorcycle breaks down and Cash finds her walking into town. Neither realizes then that their lives would be forever changed. Neither trusts the other, but their chemistry, a precocious child and the magic of Christmas could change that.
This is a well written story that is thought provoking, heartbreaking but also heartwarming. A story about loss, first impressions, survival , small town living , family made up by blood or friends, hope, new beginnings and of course love. Also a reminder that our childhood experiences do in fact affect us as adults.
A new author for me and one to be added to my TBR list.
I was entrusted this copy by Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley.
The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Cash should have never started the swear jar. His daughter Kenzie is too cute, but has ears that hears everything and that swear jar gets pretty full. Jinx sure doesn't help, he has quite a few choice words when she is around.
Cowboy Christmas Jubilee, is a great Christmas romance novel that I couldn't put down.

Jinx Jacobs – the tough-as-nails biker chick – is fleeing Los Angeles and her abusive, drug-dealing ex-boyfriend when her motorcycle breaks down outside of Holiday, Texas. Stranded in the holiday obsessed small town until her motorcycle can be fixed, Jinx takes a job at the local dancehall and winds up getting drawn into the lives and various goings-on in Holiday. Deputy Cash Walker – the country boy and single dad – doesn’t know what to make of the new woman in town or the feelings that she evokes in him. What Cash does know is that Jinx – with her dyed hair, piercings, and tattoos – is not the type of woman he would normally fall for. Jinx has never had much of a family and none of her past relationships were stable. Getting drawn into Cash’s life and family leaves her longing for the family she never had and wishing for a future that she never imagined. When Jinx’s past catches up to her, she and Cash have to decide if a future together is worth it.

COWBOY CHRISTMAS JUBILEE is a great follow-up to the first novel in the series, ALL-AMERICAN COWBOY. Cash Walker is the older brother of the leading lady from ALL-AMERICAN COWBOY, and both novels take place in the small town of Holiday, Texas. Charlie and Beck, the rest of the Walker family, and some of the other characters from the first novel make frequent appearances in the second novel as well. This gives the reader a chance to catch up with the characters they met in ALL-AMERICAN COWBOY, and see how their fictional lives are progressing.

Both novels in the Holiday, Texas series are heartwarming, sexy, and funny. The characters are endearing. Jinx and Cash are both loveable characters, as is Cash’s daughter. Kenzie’s antics add extra humor to the novel, and she serves as a driving force in bringing her dad and Jinx together. The romance between Jinx and Cash is very realistic, and the novel is well plotted. I enjoyed all the holiday activities that take place in town. I also love the small town of Holiday. I wish I could take a trip to Texas to hang out with the Walkers.

The Cowboy Christmas Jubilee by Dylann Crush was a great story. I love Christmas romances. If you need a little romance in your life cuddle up with your pet and join the cowboy Christmas Jubilee in Holiday, Texas. You will love the little girl Kenzie.

What a hoot! Loved this book. This is the second in the series, and actually liked it better than the first (which I also liked). This one has Jinx, running from her ex-boyfriend, and traveling by motorcycle heading to New Orleans. She meets up with Cash, a single father of precocious Kenzie, when her bike breaks down, and he gives her a ride into town. Seven year old Kenzie is fascinated by Jinx's blue hair and tattoos, and makes Cash, a cop leery. Sparks fly though, and eventually lead to a HEA. The path was fun, and made me laugh a lot. Highly recommend this book and author. Can't wait to see what she writes next.
