I enjoyed both stories. Exclusive was about a writer who was chosen to write an exclusive story about a famous writer who was a recluse. No one knew anything about him and he had requested her. She had no idea why but when she got there, she knew the assistant from high school and they spent a week getting reacquainted and falling in love. When she discovered his secret, she was not happy and they had a very tense rest of the week. It was a good story, and I enjoyed seeing Mike work his way back to Taylor.
A Touch of Heave revolved around a mother and daughter who ending up going through a remodel of their house they were selling but being featured on a reality tv show. The producer was a weasel and wanted lots of drama. Both of the remodelers ended up falling in love, but it was not all easy and smooth. I loved the ending for both women. It was a good story that I enjoyed.
I did get this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

Exclusive:
Great read! Taylor and Mike were great together. You knew the secret right off the bat, but it was still fun to read!

A Touch of Heaven:
Another sweet read from Samantha Chase! Regan and Sawyer were adorable. Their parents were awesome! You could predict how this was going to go, but I'm glad they got their HEA!

A The Touch of Heaven

This story was amazing, original...kind of fixer upper reversed. The home getting new coat before selling to another owner.
The story about the sassy Amerson women and the Bennett men was greatly written. This story trully tells that falling in love is possible at every age and everyone has the right to love and be loved.
I was enjoying reading "A Touch of Heaven" and could only recommend it to everyone.

Exclusive was one lovely story, full of emotions and surprises

Although who was behind the mysterious man was a bit predictable from the going on further in the story there were still a lot of surprises in there. I loved both characters and their drive to achieve their goals. Each of them has got another kind of goals. Taylor writing the story of her life about mysterious famous author and Mike to show her "the real person", not the one writing under pen name. While they already met in their teenage years, he wasn´t able to forget her. He needed to get his life wrapped and sorted first before he gets to meet her again.

When they finally meet they enjoy each other´s company and fall into passionate encounter. Mike´s wish to carefully reveal his true identity doens´t go as planned. Lies have been told, life begins to get complicated,

Can they sort their opinions and try to be themselves?

Exclusive - Taylor is a journalist in NYC, she gets once a lifetime opportunity to do interview with famous author, she just have to visit him. When she gets there she meets Mike, boy she knew in High School, her boyfriend's best friend. She has to spend week with him before she meets Jonathan. While she spends time with Mike, they learn a lot about each other and old feelings surface. What will happen when Jonathan arrive. Awesome story, great writing.

A touch of heaven - Regan is against her mother to sell the house she grew up in. While looking for stuff in home improvement store Carolina meets Max, he and his son Sawyer are hosts of Home Improvement Show and Carolina won the house makeover. Regan is not happy about it, she doesn't want anything to be changed in the house. Sawyer is someone she hates on the sight but with the time she likes him more and more. Will they get HEA? Love this story, well written, great characters.

Exclusive follows Taylor, who is a writer for a magazine in NYC. She is given an amazing opportunity to interview a very private author, Jonathan Wade. This assignment requires her to travel to Jonathan's house in Maine. She meets an old friend, Mike, at Jonathan's house and finds out he is Jonathan's assistant. This book was very predictable and I knew what was happening before it happened for the majority of the story. However, it was an easy and enjoyable read.

A Touch of Heaven
A Touch of Heaven is about a daughter, Regan, who is upset with her mother when she decides to sell their family house after her dad passes away. Not only does her mom want to sell the house, but she also got them cast on a home renovation reality show with a father and son duo. Regan wants nothing to do with the show or remodel, but is forced to participate. Neither Regan nor her mom expected to find love during this renovation, but it seems that fate had other plans for them both.

Two well written stories. I enjoyed the plot, characters and this author's writing. My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my digital ARC. This is my unbiased review.

Relationships are hard. Both of these short stories include opinionated women that have careers and no plans for adding a man to the mix. They both run when things get rocky and it is up to the men to make it right.

In Exclusive, we are taken to a secluded property to interview a secretive novelist. It is the opportunity of a lifetime to advance her journalism career. Little does she know that she has already met the recluse.

In A Touch of Heaven, Regan's mom wins a home renovation. Instead of the paint refresher they intended not the whole house is getting updated! What right does the contractor have to change her childhood home, even if it is going on the market?

Exclusive
Jonathan Wade is famous for his mysteries and famous for not allowing himself to be interviewed. So it's a shock that Taylor Scott is invited up to do an in-dept interview with man. When she gets up to his house, she's surprised to see her old classmate Mike Green. And she's surprised at their connection...
The story of two classmates reconnecting because one is an author and the other is a reporter has been done and been done better. Mike was a jerk and I could not connect with him.

Two Stars

A Touch of Heaven
Regan is upset that her mother is selling their family home. Especially when her mother wins a remodel at their local hardware store with a father/son TV duo.
Sawyer Bennet is getting a little tired of being on TV. He'd like to go back to just being contractor. Maybe with the perfect woman he can make that a reality.

An okay story. Might have been nicer as a fleshed out story.

Three stars.

This book comes out November 6

Love Samantha chase but hate all the reissues. Should be on cover that these stories published before.

Samantha Chase novels aren’t super sexy. But what they are, what they consistently continue to be are full of heart, life, and romance. I always say if Chase ever let her kink slip, if she ever pushed beyond the sensual tension, that she’s mastered, her books would be romance nirvana. As it stands, they are emotional thrill rides and her latest release in the Band on the Run series, One More Moment, is no different. Julian is fresh off finally breaking ties with his toxic, unfaithful ex, whom he dumps in spectacular fashion. The aftermath leaves him craving solitude and anonymity and when he finds it, he finds comfort in the authenticity it affords him in his interactions with others. When Charlotte crossed his path and believes the hugely famous and wealthy drummer is a charity case, the irony is impossible to ignore. Charlotte is such a bright heroine, she’s so intrinsically good, without crossing over into pushover territory. A genuine positive outlook and burning desire to be of service to her community, she was such a perfect match for Julian, who needed a bright sun to combat his perpetual grey and stormy demeanor. One More Moment is alittle opposites attract, and more, two halves making a romantically healthy whole.

Exclusive
A cute second meeting romance. Mike and Taylor were friends years ago. When everything went down in the past and the last touch feelings still exist. Mike is a talented writer hiding his true identity. He is trying to do whatever it takes to get Taylor back in his life. Taylor a writer for a magazine is given the opportunity to get her career on the fast track. It doesn't take long for sparks to ignite and love to blossom. the chemistry is amazing and I love watching everything fall into place.

A Touch of Heaven
This is a very sweet romance. I love the banter between Sawyer and Regan. Not to mention the sparks between there parents. This home improvement little number is such a wonderful read. Regan doesn't want to see her child hood home go to someone else and boy does she put up some fight over it. Sawyer is part of a father son home improvement team. He is just trying to help Regan see the hidden potential in her home. Neither planned to find the one but when they are together sparks do fly.

Both books in this set are sweet and full of love that makes Samantha Chase books the best for those gloomy days to that you need a little something to get through. I love these books so much.

Two book set.

Getting the story of a lifetime would make any reporter jump at the chance. Having to deal with all the secrecy around the reclusive author to get said story might make you worry. Taylor Scott is taking this as an amazing opportunity. The last thing she expects is Mike Greene a blast from her past.
If you don't see where this one is going I'll just be over here shaking my head.

A Touch of Heaven
Regan is having issues dealing with her mom wanting to sell the family home. Even though she doesn't live there and her mom has been on her own for years. When her mom is chosen for a free home makeover what could possibly go wrong?
Sawyer Bennett is a designer and master contractor and the host of the show. While trying to win over Regan to be onboard with the makeover he finds he's intrigued by her and wants to know her better. Of course network drama throws some issues their way.

She is to stay alone at his residence/farm to interview him, but she will spend the week with Mike Greene, a man who used to be friends with her ex-fiance that cheated on her and ruined her heart for any other man. Taylor was the only person who was genuinely nice to Mike in their circle of friends. Mike has never forgotten that. But has Taylor? Is she the same person that he remembers? Is she only there to dig up dirt on Wade? How will she react when she finds out his secret? Will all the wining and dining be for nothing? Will Taylor risk her career for Mike? A Touch of Heaven
Regan Amerson is feeling a bit nostalgic lately especially since her mother and business partner wants to sell the family home. The only place she has ever truly felt at peace. It's not like her mother needs the large home anymore especially after her father passed away a few years ago. But that doesn't stop the emotions from pouring out of Regan. If she could afford to she would buy the home from her mother. That is not an option. What does her impulsive mother do? Signs up for a reality show home makeover.

Sawyer Bennett is furious at his father for just picking a woman at random from the home improvement store for their reality show. What's worse is that the homeowner's daughter doesn't want them there or want the house renovated. The network loves the idea of mother and daughter at odds against each other. Sawyer walks into the home with his mind set--NO. They will not do this. Until he meets Regan. He wants to impress this raven haired beauty. He wants her approval for this house and everything else in his life. That is something he is not used to. Normally, the only approval he wants is from his father and fellow business owner of Bennett Construction. When his father falls in love with Regan's mother and the network is pushing for the mother/daughter turmoil, Sawyer realizes he needs to make some decisions about his own future especially after his father announces his retirement from their show.

Regan is gutted when her mother sells the family home only days after the renovation is complete. Sawyer knows how important this house is to Regan. He is willing to do whatever it takes to restore the beauty of the home. The house is not the only thing that undergoes changes.

4.5 Star Review of Exclusive/A Touch Of Heaven by Samantha Chase
Two books in one from Samantha Chase is a win/win in my opinion. The characters were strong and I found them all easy to relate too.
Exclusive
Taylor Scott is given the opportunity to interview a famous reclusive author, an opportunity she leaps at as this could more her career to the top. Little does she know that this interview will change her life in more ways that one. The author’s assistant Mike turns out to be a man from her past? Has fate put him in her pathway for a reason? What will happen when Taylor has to chose between her career and her chance at love? Can she chose one over the other or is she doomed?
A Touch of Heaven
Regan Amerson is deeply attached to her family home and is resentful that her mother has decided to sell. When fate intervenes and her mother is chosen to get her home renovated Regan has more to deal with than ever before. Sawyer Bennett is the host of the renovation show and he finds himself attracted to Regan who wants nothing to do with him. Can Sawyer get through the walls that Regan has erected and show her that he is worth taking a risk on?

Exclusive follows Taylor, a young woman who is given a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interview a reclusive bestselling author. He has never been photographed or interviewed before, so this could be the piece that launches the rest of her career. The assignment requires her to travel to his home in Maine and Taylor is in for a surprise when she arrives and discovers that the author's assistant is someone she used to know.

This book definitely has an air of mystery to it, and even though it is easy to predict, it didn't make me want to get to that part any less. Both characters have their issues, but I couldn't help but root for them as I made my way through this story. In the end, it left me with a smile on my face.

A Touch of Heaven finds Regan, who owns A Touch of Heaven spa with her mother, grappling with her Mom's decision to sell their family home. Her father has been gone for a decade and it is just too much for her Mom to deal with any longer. Call it fate or luck, Regan's Mom is chosen to receive a home makeover on a popular television show. Regan was opposed to selling and she's even more opposed to any major changes being made. Sawyer, the host of the show, not only finds Regan to be a challenge work-wise, but he also wants to get to know her better personally. Will he be able to win her over in the end with both his design skills and as a man?

Both of these stories were wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed them. There was plenty of heat and heart in both and I'd highly recommend them!

Exclusive

What a wonderful story. I absolutely loved Taylor and Mike together. It was so nice that they had an old friendship to base their relationship off of.

Touch of Heaven

Regan is less that happy having Sawyer in her mother's home and isnt shy about it. But when Sawyer and Regan get a few minutes together, sparks fly. I loved Regan and Sawyer together, even though they didn't see eye to eye.

I enjoyed both of these stories from Samantha Chase. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Exclusive - What starts out as an interview that is going to skyrocket her career, ends up in a story of a lifetime for Taylor. While spending two weeks away from NY, Taylor needs to get information about a reclusive writer from his assistant Mike, who Taylor had a friendship with years ago. But when the sparks fly between them will Taylor freak because she is having sex with the hired help? Or will Mike's own secrets end the relationship before it can begin?
A Touch Of Heaven - Regan is not happy when her widowed mother wins a home reality TV makeover on her childhood home. Not happy to let go of her father's memories that are all over the house, Regan gives off a sense of unhappiness with the host, Sawyer. But he sees something else in her. Once the chemistry between them cannot be denied the two embark on a secret relationship. Will reality TV be too much for Regan to deal with? Or will the flames die out once the renovations are complete?

Once again, Samantha Chase creates characters and storylines that you cannot help but enjoy. These stories locked me in from he opening pages and I loved it all. With beautifully written characters and honest and true emotions this book should not be missed.

Exclusive by Samantha Chase
Taylor is chosen to write an exclusive article about reclusive writer Jonathan Wade. She meets up with an old friend while on the assignment. She has to choose what to reveal as she learns about the mystery writer and her friend.
A Touch of Heaven by Samantha Chase
Reagan owns a day spa with her mother and also a family home. They meet a reality show home makeover team of father and son. Soon fake drama and then real drama ensues around the filming of the home improvement show. I always enjoy Samantha Chase novels and am pulling for the characters to fall in love.
