I received this from Netgalley in exchange an honest review. I tried to finish this but just could not get into this story.
Bacio writes wonderfully intense books that you don't want to put down. This book was no exception. The sex is hot but the story is plot driven. A great read
sorry for the delayed review, life got in the way, i finished this book quite some time ago
Interesting read, not usually the type of book i would read but was looking for something different. easy to read book. Many different paranormal creatures compliment each other in this story, Lily encounters Trevor and Lawrence in her quest to escape her dreams and the relationship begins. Just enough hot and steaminess... I probably would not read more from this author only because it's not my type of book ususally
A New Orleans Threesome is the second installment of The Vampire, The
Witch and the Werewolf series by Louisa Bacio.
A New Orleans Threesome was hard to get into. I felt, each time I read
a page I felt like it was too loose of a story. What I mean by loose,
is that certain situations didn’t seem close to a reality feel. For
instance, Lily has been passed around from foster home to foster home.
Never feeling she belonged and possibly causing a small growth of
skepticism towards the world. However, when she meets Trevor and
Lawrence, she basically falls into their arm’s without a second
thought. Which to me, doesn’t feel realistic. Also as they begin their
new found love, I felt there were too many flashbacks when it should
have stayed in the present.
So many loop holes and not something I could fully enjoy, however the
humor and some one liners did keep my interest.
Well, this was a notch above when it came to sexiness but then what else can you expect from an Entangled Scorched. There's some scorching hot MM action. You'll need to like your romance saucy and spicy for this one.
Trevor, Lawrence and Lily sizzled together. I've always had a thing for werewolves/vampire couples and adding a witch to the pot totally upped the tempo. I loved the lengths they went to to keep each other when the going got tough.

Unfortunately this book fell flat for me. Not enough character development or depth, nothing that explained in depth the connection between Lily, Law and Trevor; it was simply chalked up to being nothing more than chemistry. Given what each person is, there should be more than seems to bring them together other than just chemistry.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
The characters + storytelling were very captivating
What more can I say that it was Hot, Hot, and Hot ?
I loved the interaction between Lily, Lawrence, and Trevor.
They complimented each other.
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
Overall I enjoyed the story but found it lagged in a spot or two. Good plot and the writing was very good.
Similar to normal threesome story, nothing really surprised me. The plot is smooth enough, the sex scene I would say not hot enough. How the author writes about threesome can be more interesting. I will give this book a 3 star only because I did finish the book but not because it's interesting.,
This story just didn’t work for me I tried to get into it but I couldn’t get into it, the characters just didn’t appeal to me.
I really wanted to like this book. It had everything to be a great book. A interesting plot, and a great setting."NEW ORLEANS" everybody. But it was a slow start, that felt like it was dragging, and the interesting plot fell flat, just didn´t evolved like it was supposed to.
It´s always difficult to review a book with so much potential, but that it wasn´t so great as expected.
Lily had been walking to a job interview on Bourbon street when some drunk guys were flagging her down to go party with them. She felt the power flow through her. Then she knew their thoughts and what they had planned for her. Power came out f her hands and broke the windshield of the car and threw the guy that was out of the car backwards. Then Lily took off running and went into the store and decided to forget the interview. Trevor was a werewolf and his lover Lawrence/Law was a vampire who was one hundred and fifty years old and had been thirty when he had been turned. In their level downstairs from the store they ran an after hours book store. Lily told Trevor she had come to them for help. Trevor could tell she wasn’t human and felt the power in her. Lily ended up shattering a lightbulb as her powers grew whens he was frightened or frustrated. Lily said Trevor was a werewolf and Lawrence a vampire and she had come for a reason- for their help. She had said she had read about the two of them and their bookstore and then she started having dreams about them and her dreams had led her there. Lily felt if she didn’t get control of her power she would end up killing someone. Trevor had been living on the streets and Law find him beaten almost to death in an alley. Now Trevor wanted to help any other who needed any help. Law embodied the cool and and collected whereas Trevor lived in the wild ruled by his emotions. Trevor offered to let Lily stay with then as she needed support and security’ They also gave her a jon=b to work the store in the daylight hours. Lily got up at night for a drink and saw the men having sex and then she watched every night as for some reason Lily couldn’t complete the act of having sex no one or no toy would give her relief. Both men desired Lily and asked her if she wanted to join them. Lily had been plagued by the same nightmare for years. But recently it had grown more frequent. The demon of her dreams wanted her purity, her virginity, her soul. Law was working on figuring Lily out and her powers and otherness. He felt part of ehr was a witch. Lily’s research kept bringing her back to the Greek God Arimanius, something about the black and white drawing reminded Lily of the demon in her nightmare. Arimanius was listed as a God of the underworld. Trevor,Lily, and Lawrence had grown up without a traditions family and now they were drawn together.
I must have picked this up on accident as I don’t care for M/M sexual relationships or menages. This was more of a rerotic read for me. The relationships between Lily, Trevor, and Law seemed slow moving to me. I basically skipped the sex scenes just not for me. I did enjoy the authors descriptions of New Orleans and the different articles both Lily and Law researched. This was a quick read just didn’t enjoy the M/M and M/F/M. In the end this just wasn’t for me. Also I was disappointed how the ending felt so rushed. I am sure others will enjoy this but as I said this just wasn’t for me.
I felt like I missed something in the beginning, while it was very good story, I just left like something was off to me, and for an erotica it missed the mark.
Lily is in New Orleans hoping she can find some mystical help in figuring out what she is and why she has horrible nightmares. She just hopes the two men she's come to find can help her. Trevor, and his partner Lawrence, aren't sure exactly who, or what, Lily is but they are determined to help her...and possibly bring her into their relationship. Will they be able to help Lily and maybe forge a mating that will last for a lifetime? Or will the demon from Lily's dream claim Lily for himself?
I love PNR ménage stories...especially when everyone is mated to each other. I liked this story over all. Trevor and Lawrence were a great coupl and adding Lily to the mix...yowza! steam hot.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Entangled Publishing, via NetGalley. My thoughts, opinions, and reviews are my own.
An interesting story for those who really enjoy the paranormal genre. I sort of felt like the paranormal activity side of the story took precedence over the romance between these 3. Wish it would have been the other way around, However if you really enjoy vampires and demons in your romance then you will probably enjoy more than I did.
Okay, not quite what I thought it was going to be, however, I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. I don't typically like the paranormal style books but the characters in this one really worked for me. Great story line. Fantastic character development. Excellent setting. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
Rating: 1.5 stars
This was an interesting idea, but the execution was confusing and stilted. Events were only barely strung together, with minimal development of plot and characters. The whole “can’t have sex” thing was awkwardly explained, and it felt like there were jumps in the relationships and communication between Lily and the two men. In fact, the plot and dialogue resembled Swiss cheese, with holes everywhere that left me more bewildered than engaged.
Sex played a very big part in this book, and the focus was more on the male couple who were already in a relationship before Lily turned up. Theoretically, it was all very yummy, with some voyeurism on Lily’s part. But unfortunately, instead of being sexy, everything felt mechanical, like a step-by-step guide to sex – gay and menage. (Also, when Lily FINALLY has sex towards the end, she comes straight away and there's no pain or anything...yeah...sure...) The slapdash plot could have been forgiven a bit if the chemistry and steaminess had been stellar, but neither worked for me.
All told, for all the flesh exposed in this book, it could have all been fleshed out a bit more.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book was certainly different as the title would lead you to believe. I am sure you are trying to figure out how these three will mix, just as I did. However, they did.
There are some really good parts of this story and some different parts too. The MM action - definitely hot. Then they bring in the third person... and the steam levels up, but not until further into the story.
The author brings in a lot of great imagination, a bit of dark action, sweaty scenes, and so much more. This is a bit longer than a novella, but not a full length book either. I was able to whip through it pretty quickly for a great change of pace and some sweaty male hotness!!
This book was interesting. I liked the dynamic between Law,Trevor, and Lily. I like when characters are drawn to each other. Like they have this deep connection that goes beyond the norm. This book has that and more. It has some pretty dirty scenes. I enjoyed the paranormal aspect of it. All 3 have different powers. The title says a lot. I would recommend to anyone who likes erotica. I would say that genre best describes this book.
