I LOVE EVERYTHING NOLA. Bacio brings an interesting love triangle With Lawrence a Vampire, Trevor a Werewolf, and Lily a ??? Even better they live above a bookstore called "PAGES". Action starts from the first pages and last till the end. Steamy Sex and the well developed characters make this a read for those into the paranormal romance. Lily has powers she can't control or understand. She goes to New Orleans to get help in controlling her powers and to find out what she is. She is drawn to a bookstore that Law and Trevor own. They are a couple but very attracted to Lily. Law is a vampire and Trevor, a werewolf. Lily is having dreams of something chasing her and it shows up one night to claim her since she is a virgin. Law, Greg and Lily become lovers. Will they be able to save her? There's a voodoo priestess involved in everything. Hot sex, hot guys. Great story and plot. I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review and no compensation.

An interesting premise, yet disjointed and stilted at times. Many scenes felt rushed and incomplete.

I received a free ARC via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Haunted by paranormal abilities she can't control and plagued by nightmares about a demon that seeks her soul, Lily Anima travels to New Orleans in search of salvation. She enlists the help of an unlikely couple: a vampire, Lawrence Justice, and a werewolf, Trevor Pack. The attraction is immediate and fierce. And whatever paranormal problem she's having is what has kept her that way. Every time she's tried to do the deed, something stops her.Together, the trio encounters magic and unspeakable evil, and Trevor and Lawrence attempt to help Lily turn her powers into a gift rather than a curse. Ultimately, to get the demon off her back, Lily's men will have to show her all the wicked ways the three of them can come together. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Louisa

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Overall, I recommend this book but only give 3 stars. The book was well written but I felt there was a lack of world building. There really wasn't anything that set it apart from other demon, vampire or werewolf books except the menage romance. I've also read better menage books or reverse haram books that make the relationship between all the participants feel realistic. I know it's fantasy with 'creatures' as the main characters but I need the actual interactions to feel real and the author doesn't give me that.

From the description it wasn't clear that the werewolf and vampire were an item before the heroine turned up. Honestly when I read that they were a couple and how they interacted, it felt like the heroine was intruding upon their relationship and never actually truly became apart of it. The two guys.even made comments that they bring temporary lovers into their love life occasionally but they are just temporary. The vampire needs more blood then the werewolf can provide so he takes more lovers occasionally. I think alot of the issue with me not being able to see her as apart of third relationship is that at the beginning of the book she can't have sex or orgasm for various reasons. Instead she likes to watch them have sex, often without asking. The sex between the guys is quite hot but also very loving. Again it feels like she intrudes up until the very end of the book. At the end (and I mean very close to the end of the book) she's apart of their relationship but it feels forced. I feel like there could have been more relationship building between the boys and girl.

When the sex between all three actually does occur, it is really hot and well written; the author knows how to write a good sex scene.

Again, overall I recommend trying this book but don't give it more then 3 stars. I don't feel like I would read this author again but the book was definitely worth the time reading it.
