When I first started reading this book I was unsure whether it might be a little too cosy for me, but that soon changed as the action hotted up. I very quickly got to know the characters in the book and warmed to them, a testament to the author’s skills, and enjoyed my fast paced journey with them right through the story to a very exciting end. This is number four in the series but works fine as a stand-alone as previous events are well described and the reader isn’t left confused at all. Personally I am itching to get at the first three books to catch up on all the history! Recommended and already looking forward to book number five!

A good mystery. There was a great plot, and it had everything to support the story. The characters, the writing and the detail went far in keeping the reader interested. Definitely worth a one time read.

Loved it! An exciting and entertaining mystery. Family issues, work problems, drugs, murders (old and new) all add up to an engaging tale. I look forward to reading more in this series.
