I have loved every other single book in this series that I've read, this one... it put me to sleep every time I opened it to read. I did end up finishing it because it was an ARC and I push through ARCs if I can. It contains good information in here about lives between lives and a little about what happens after we die while waiting to be reborn but it's the way it's told I guess that just made it so boring.

I really hate to say this because I enjoy this topic but wasn't written in a way that pulled me in.

*Thanks to NetGalley for this title in exchange for na honest review*

I have to admit that the first few chapters of this put far too much emphasis on belief. Maybe it's because I've read other books on this subject matter but I feel that someone who takes the trouble to read about it has already become at least open to belief and the 'exercises' in the first few chapters seem redundant and amount to quiet contemplation of the sort of things that will have already led the reader to pick up the book, like being attracted to certain places or eras.

As the chapters went on I had hoped for something more, but the 'exercises' continued to be more suggestions for things to think about rather than guidance for self-hypnosis as I've seen in other books. There were references for going between lives but no real instruction about how to accomplish that.

All of the 'evidence' presented was completely subjective accounts. No examples of evidence that got confirmed by historical records or surviving relatives of the previous person as I've seen elsewhere.

When it began talking about a council of elders, the book pretty much lost me and it went further into new age territory after that. To be quite honest, if this were the only book I had ever read on reincarnation, I would be writing the topic off as total fantasy. The writing itself is good, but there is nothing to convince the questioning reader that any of it is any more than imagination.

This book is a concise guide to Life Between Lives. It pulls the highlights from the other Newton books and leaves readers with a sense of hope and purpose.

'Perhaps you are curious, wondering about your souls journey. As you read these pages with your human eyes, allow your soul to be awoken'

Wow. I am completely obsessed with the subject of past life regression and life between lifes, so when i saw this title i was hoping i would be approved to read. And i wasnt disappointed.... the book had me hooked from the start, full of such interesting facts that i dint want it to end. I actually have two of Dr Michael Newtons books (a journey of souls and destiny of souls) on my to be read pile but after reading this i cant wait to get stuck in with them. Exploring past life regression and life between lives, along with case stidies, like it says, this book is a testimony to one mans courage, vision and lifes work.... (funnily enough Dr Newton was skeptical at the start of his journey with regression and lbl but he soon realised he had uncovered something amazing and dedicated his life to that.
Would recommend to anyone and everyone. A big thank you to the author, publisher and Netgaley for allowing me to read. 5 stars (would give more if i could!

This book makes so much sense to me. So many things I know about and I don't know why. No it's not Déjà vu, it's something else completely. I want to go thru the first chapters of the book and practice that, then find someone to help me find my Life Between Lives. Life regression was used in several studies of people who had problems of anxiety and pain and were helped by finding out what had come in another time. So much information for those who believe that there is more. I received this book from Net Galley and Llewellyn for an honest review and no compensation otherwise.

No my type of book. I was expecting to read something similar to Ian Stevenson's work and I was disappointed. The content is more related to secular practices.
