Sweet story of the friendship of three women meeting during Vietnam War as young brides and one woman living several decades later whose life may be impacted by a secret held by two of them. At first, the story jumps around between two of the Vietnam war characters and the later character, and it's slightly confusing. Once the story gets going, you become invested in the characters and their story. Tarot cards only play a minor and mostly symbolic role story.

Three of Cups is an excellent novel, covering events from 1968 through 2000, and the highlights in the lives of several very interesting women. We see the effects of the Vietnam War on not just the principle characters of the novel, but on the lives of their children, and on society as a whole. And we see many areas of the US through the eyes of our protagonists. The characters are sympathetic, the story is tight and the voice of this novel is eloquent. This is a novel I can happily recommend to friends and family. Kathy Wilson Florence is an author I will follow.

I received a free electronic copy of this novel from Netgalley, Kathy Wilson Florence, and Right Brain Communications in exchange for a honest review. Thank you all for sharing your hard work with me.
