I wanted to like this author, this book but, I just couldn’t get into the story. Had decent promise in parts but, just not my thing.

Everything He Wants: Obedience by Jenna Fox is one of those BDSM-type books that follows the main character as she drops her self-worth along with her pants. I mean, I'm all for a good erotica when the book is good, but this was not it. What self-respecting women masturbates in front of the CEO of her company just because he says to?? Also, keep in mind - this was the first time they actually had any sort of conversation with each other! I'm assuming the author was trying to make the lead character, Megan, innocent and shy when she does this, but I just thought was out out of her damn mind!

The book felt too rushed to get all these "important" details about the characters out there. Megan was in a car accident, Sloane was in a car accident, Cain is a "bad boy" - Let's just gloss over these details and then never speak of them again. Also, why on earth did Sloane trust this woman who has very little experience to join him at this multi-billion dollar dinner to try to sign a new company? I mean, she didn't even know how to speak to these guys when he left the table!

Not for me, and personally I wouldn't recommend it. Nor will I be reading the next book in the series, but hey, maybe someone out there will like this one! All the power to you!

Great start to a new series. He commands her obedience and she wants to meet his every need. What started as a little contract turned into something so much more.

A great sexy introduction to this series. I loved the characters and feel in love with their storyline. Need more from this series.

In my opinion, this story definitely called for some suspended disbelief at first. It started off with an event that made me thinking no one would ever do that with no preliminary action leading up to it. I almost stopped reading there, but for some reason I didn't. I guess I got hooked on the characters, especially when Cain came into the picture. I always tend to be a sticker for the darker lesser loved characters. He was definitely not the good guy, but I'm also not sure if he's the bad guy either. Even Sloane is questionable at times. The story ended with a cliffhanger, so I'm sure I will now have to grab book two for some resolution.

Net Galley provided an ARC.

ACR Provided from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Everything He Wants was an entertaining read, but it was lacking in story for me. I felt I needed more background information on the characters.
I will continue on to book 2 to see if I can get some answers to the questions I have.
So all in all Everthing He Wants BK1 is enjoyable, super quick read with not a lot of story and ends on a cliffhanger.

You lose me when you write a short book, end it on a cliffhanger so the reader needs to purchase a second book to find out what happened. I don't mind a cliffhanger, but the book needs to be worth it. 7 chapters is not worth it to me. That tells me the author wrote an book and decided to make money by splitting it in two.

Good beginning. Sloane is a billionaire who is intrigued by Megan who works for him. It's okay for the most part bud seems to be missing something to the storyline. Overall it's a good start.

Usually, interoffice romances are a hit or miss for me. Everything He Wants definitely kept me flipping the pages. I did have a hard time believing in this setup. Everything happened a bit too fast for my liking, but I could put it aside and still enjoy this one. Definitely hot, with a bit of taboo thrown in. A fun, filthy good read overall.

3.5 stars!

While this is definitely part of a series i felt it cut off in an awkward spot. It didn't draw me in as much as I hoped because I think too much is being kept hidden and the next book will feel rushed. There were a lot of hints about big things but nothing learned in this book.

A stereotypical revisiting of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” erotic paradigm: young naive women falls under the charm and contract of a dominant wealthy man. Characters are over familiar and offer nothing new or interesting in the dominant submissive relationship. Blaise writing met with a generic style of eroticism. Skip this one.

This is a fast-paced read and a great start to a new series. Although I wish there had been more in this read. Sloane runs Rothchild Investments and wants Meagan to be his personal assistant. The catch is she must obey or be punished. She falls for him but what will happen when Sloane’s brother can enters the picture. I liked the intensity and the drama, looking forward to more.

This novella barely seems to get started before you are hit with a cliffhanger. A dark and twisty read that's filled with steam, kink and intensity. I liked the chemistry between Megan and Sloane. A promising start that leaves you would plenty of questions that you want the answers to.

Everything He Wants: Obedience by Jenna Fox is book One in Everything He Wants series. This is the story of Sloane Rothchild and Megan Walter.
Sloane owns Rothchild Investments and when he spots Megan he can't seem to get her out of his mind. Sloane forces himself to stay away from her to test himself that he truly wants her and isn't a quick infatuation. When Sloan is satisfied that he is really wanting to pursue the attractions he moves to assign her as his new assistant and that they need to work out of the Florida office.
Megan is shocked at first that he is asking her to be his assistant and goes to make sure he knows that her qualifications don't meet the job title.
Nevertheless, she goes forward with Sloane to be his assistant. Along the way she meets Sloane's twin brother Cain. Cain too finds her attractive and goes to put himself out there too with her.
This is a short book that does end to set us up for the next installment in book two 'Everything He Wants: Lies
Everything He Wants: Lies'.

I received an arc from Netgalley. Wow.... after that ending my heart was pounding and I was shocked. I guess two identical twins have taken jealousy and deceiving one another to a whole new level leaving Megan at odds with both of them.

Thoroughly pleased as always with this author, Another novel that effortlessly ticks all the criteria for an sensational and tasteful book in this category. It's everything and so much more. I quite literally am lost for words which demonstrates that this novel has indeed left me speechless. That in itself is an rarity. Clearly, its a must read or more like a must have. Totally worth the read.

I will be uploading my review to my blog shortly.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Overall, the book was ok but I have some issues with it.

The main characters name is Megan. She works for Sloane'e (her romantic interest) company. Now Sloane is a business genius but he is very reserved with personal relationships. In other words he likes sex but doesn't actually date. He's in to BDSM and has pretty much found the perfect submissive in Megan.
One of my major issues is how the two started their 'relationship.' As Megan's boss, he calls her into the office and tells her to strip and pleasure herself. She never really even hesitates. I'm all for alpha male Dom's but his actions are over the line sexual harassment, although Megan doesn't even see it that way.

My final issue is Megan never feels like a fully developed character. She's more of a cardboard cutout submissive. I could substitute any number of female submissive characters from other books and it really wouldn't hurt the storyline.

In the plus side, the book is very steamy and the sex scenes are extremely hot.

Overall, I feel slightly disappointed in the book but still glad I read it. However, I don't believe I would read anything else by this author.

I loved this story! It was to short for my liking but it was still an awesome Read! I could see myself reading it again in the future. I’m curious to see how Things turn out in the second book. I can’t decide if I like Cain or not but I don’t think do.
This book is about a girl with no family or friends to leave behind that is faced with a opportunity she can’t turn down.
This book was different then others I’ve read in the fact that to me it was strictly fictional. This kind of thing could never happen because they would get sued for sexual harassment. But I loved this story and it made it forbidden so maybe that’s another reason I liked it so much.

I read this in one sitting. Its a fairly short read tbh. Obedience was a great read, not at all what I expected. This is one hot and steamy read with a few twists included! This is the first book by this author but it certainly won’t be my last!
This book was juicy, hot and steamy. The cliff hanger though!! I highly recommend giving this book a chance.
