I enjoyed this story. It was a nice graphic novel. Off to get the first 3 books in the series now, My heart went out to Chloe who is without a boyfriend, on Valentine's Day.

I got a couple of these books from Netgalley to review. I don't think I would have picked this up without being asked to review. It looks very young and it is. I didn't really get the full story because it seemed to jump all over the place. I was not a fan of the story, characters or even the artistry. I got through this one but don't think I will be picking another one up ever again. Not my kind of graphic novel.

Another cute Chloe book. I love the colors and style of these graphic novels and they are a favorite at the library also. I often suggest these for patrons who look for more after Telgemier

The Chloe series is a cute enough middle-grade graphic novel series. In this volume, she is suffering through Valentine's Day without her boyfriend, who has moved away. And all the mean girls are having kissing contests.

The second story in this volume is about her frying to remake friends with a boy she knew as a child, but now he appears to be a real pill.

Pretty typical middle school story. Friendships, and true friends, and loyalty, and all that stuff.

It is probably perfect for its demography, which is not I.
