Oh my gosh what a fantastic start to what I know will be a fabulous book. Stevie’s cute and endearing and Shen doesn’t know what’s coming! The stage is beautifully set for an edgy sweet romance I can’t wait to finish!

In a Badger Way is the second book in Shelly Laurenston’s Honey Badger Chronicles Series.

I read and loved the first book in this series and when I saw a preview available for this book on NetGalley I couldn’t resist requesting a copy. In the prologue, the reader is given a glimpse into the lives of the MacKilligan sisters when they were teenagers. It focuses specifically on Stevie and we learn more about her past. Chapter one introduces the reader to the stories main characters, Shen, Stevie and Kyle, and offers snips from each characters perspective and point of view. The preview hints at an action packed but humorous story about shifters, love and crazy honey badgers. I can’t wait to read it in full!

I adore Shelley’s books! I can’t wait to buy In A Badger Way, I am so excited to read Shin Li’s story. Ever since we were introduced to him in Livy’s story, I enjoyed his character. This is gaurentted to be a fun read and I can’t wait!

Wasn't aware this was an exerpt before requesting. It was good, but really just a teaser. I liked the other books in this series so I'll be looking for this one too.

Even with this teaser, I can already tell I will love In a Badger Way just as much as Hot and Badgered. The first chapter features Stevie, Shen, and Kyle and all the interactions contain the trademark sass and banter and amusing antics that I adore about Laurenston’s work! I can hardly wait to find out what is wrong with Stevie and watch the adorable relationship between her and Shen bloom.

As expected of Ms. Laurenston, the preview is just enough to wet once appetite for her great world building and the continued story lines for the honey badger shifters

Nobody, but nobody, will make you click Buy after reading a sample faster than Shelly Laurenston. Her characters just feel so REAL. They're imperfect, they bicker, and before you know it, you can visualize them in your head. Plus you're laughing out loud. Highly recommended.

What a great beginning to a story but what a disappointment that the book was just a sampler. I loved book 1 in this series, Hot and Badgered and will be on the lookout in April for this second installment.

One chapter teaser is just enough to get me hooked and make me glance at my calendar in despair. In the words of Mo Williams <i>Waiting is Not Easy!</i>

The excerpt and first chapter has me hooked. Humor, action, and banter that makes me want to continue reading and not stop. I can not wait to read more once the book is out

As this was only a preview, I’m not sure how much feedback I can truly give except to say I wish there was more to read!! I’m now impatiently waiting for March....

No way to know - it was only chapter one so it was basically just a waste of time. I add new authors based on actually reading enough to gauge how good they are.

This title from netgalley was the prologue and chapter 1. So in terms of the book i only have a brief intro. That being said I am a fan of Shelly Laurenston, so I know the sexy times, humor and adventure will be entertaining.
It might be best to read some of her previous badger books to get an idea of the crazy ride you'll be reading about.

Yikes, I just realized this is just a sample. I really wish publishers would make it more visible, maybe they should start adding a HUGE banner on the cover that announces a sample compared to a full novel for more transparency.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading this book, when I get my hands on the ENTIRE copy and not just a sample. It had the typical Shelly Laurenston humor, and craziness I adore so much. So, good times to come.

I just go the excerpt of this book where Stevie from Honey Badger Chronicles book 1 and Shen from the Pride books are set up as the romantic interests. Shen has been set up as a super laid-back, continuously bamboo eating panda shifter. Stevie is a highly strung tiger-badger hybrid who is also ridiculously smart. The beginning of the book has Stevie freaking out about the number of bears in her kitchen while her sisters (normally the only ones who can calm her down) are not in the area. It's going to be up to Shen to help figure it out.
I'm a little hesitant about this book but am pretty sure it's going to be the fun ride we can normally expect from Laurenston.
