Landon is a walking heartbreak. A playboy with a rocker image, but a lonely heart. Piper was a ray of light in his otherwise dark world. When people continuously treat you like nothing, eventually you start to believe it's true. In a world where image is everything, is it possible to show others the man behind the bad boy image? Leigh is not afraid to expose life at it's most painful. There is more beauty in the hard moments. Only then does strength of character and heart show. Rock Legend is a journey though pain, self-doubt, destruction and survival. Landon and Piper take a road trip through hell to find out what heaven really means. A love sonnet perfectly in tune with the heart.

Review Rock Legend is book 2 in the Nothing but Trouble Series and I have to say Landon and Piper’s story blew me away, I really enjoyed Rock King but after reading this book I have become a drummer groupie. Landon and Piper have a past he walked away 6 years ago without even a goodbye and she believed that it was something she had done little did she know it was all to do with the group not her at all. Landon’s past is something he try’s to forget a child of addicts and a product of the system he was never expected to make anything of himself so becoming the drummer for the hit group Nothing But Trouble means the world to him and the group became his family and that means doing what ever is needed for them even walking away from Piper.
Fast forward 6 years and Piper is back in his life because she works for Travis the bands manger but up until now she has covered his other clients meaning Landon never knew she was close by following his career from a distance. Will this time around be any different for the couple with so many secrets ........
This bad boy drummer stole a piece of my heart and I shed a tear or two as we found out just what secrets he is hiding about his past, it made me understand why he became the bad boy of rock and roll. Both Piper and Landon have so much pain in their life but together they can become strong if they only open up to each other. Sizzling chemistry, history and trying to resolve the past at the wrong times makes these two getting their HEA difficult but where there’s a will there a way and sometimes fate steps in and gives us a hand. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I think you would get so much more out of this book if you read Rock King first. What can I say about the epilogue!!!! Apart from you need to read this book. Beautifully written love story and I can’t wait for more from the boys of Nothing But Trouble and Tara Leigh.

I'm a sucker for a Rock Star Romance. We got to know Landon and Piper in Rock King. So I already knew we were in for a bumpy ride. Let me tell you, Leigh, brought the angst!! I loved it though. Yes, even when I wanted to give them a slap. It's a really good second chance romance. This one was my favorite of the two books in the series so far. I'm enjoying Leigh's writing style. Bring on more trouble.

To me this was a perfect story of how perception and self worth truly affect a person. Piper thought she needed perfection to be accepted and loved. Landon never allowed himself to feel accepted and ran away from any chance. Both come face to face years later and begin to open up about lives and feelings. This is about second chances and proving that self worth and love really can help heal two souls destined for one another. A must read story!! Absolutely loved this book.

If I thought I had liked Rock King, I honestly had no clue how much I would love Rock Legend. But man did I!
If there's one thing I really love about second chance romances, it's all the angst they give me. I live for it. And this book had it so good!! Landon and Piper had met in college and dated for 2 blissful months until the moment he had to make a decision about his future in Nothing But Trouble. He made a decision based on his guilt over something that happened in his past and he has regretted it ever since. Leaving his Pippa was the second thing he regretted most in life.
He no longer was the young men she used to know, he was a rockstar, a legend who lost himself in alcohol, drugs, women and playing his drums.
Piper worked in the same industry as Landon but up until this moment had managed to stay away from him. But with Delaney wanting to surprise Shane, she had to go with her and do her job. She knew this time she wouldn't be so lucky not to cross paths with Landon but she wasn't expecting the night to end up like it did.
That night Landon comes face to face with a blast from the past. It came as a shock to see Piper in his dressing room but he wasn't about to waste the opportunity to be with the love of his life again. Even though she pretended not to want anything to do with him and fought him off, Landon was not giving up on her. This was his second chance and he was not about to leave her again.
I honestly did not like either of these characters very much in Rock King. I had been very on the fence about Piper, and Landon seemed like a douche most of the time. But this book totally changed my view on them. Both of them kept up a facade to the world but there was so much more to these two and I loved getting to know the real person behind their masks. And together... they were fire and ice, and I both loved and loathed the way they were with each other; either they were fire and super cute or they were ice and I wanted to slap either one or both of them, there was no in between.
Not only did I love Rock Legend more than I did Rock King, I feel like the writing was also better and I really loved it. It was lyrical, soulful and just beautiful. I loved everything about this book and these two. I wanted more.
Can't wait for what's next in the series. The little snippets we got of Dax and Verity had me dying for more. I can already tell I'm gonna love it. Enemies to lovers, hmm yes please! Can't wait for Fall!

I was given an arc in exchange of my honest review on this book.
Tara Leigh has a another great book that a reader must read this summer.
Landon Cox is the drummer for Nothing but Trouble and all he cares about is drugs, alcohol and women. Until Piper lands back in his life.
Piper Hastings has been hurt by Landon and won’t forgive him for walking out with no word as to why.
But an accident happened that forces Piper to take care of him.
Can they reunite or not???
Have to read to find out what happens

Wowzers Tara Leigh. You've done it again. I just can't even express the love I have for this Nothing But Trouble series. Landon and Piper's story was so rich, deep with emotions. Where second chance romance was at it's finest. I didn't want to close the page on their story but felt incredibly happy and content with their HEA. I'm counting down the days until I have Rock Rebel on my Kindle and devouring it the same way I did with Rock Legend and Rock King.

First, I HAVE to say Tara Leigh “Welcome to my list of favorite rock star authors!” I have been a contemporary romance junkie for a VERY long time, and Rockstar romance is pretty much the top genre on that list. I was blown away with your writing in this book. You are new to me, and I have to say THANK YOU NETGALLEY for introducing me to Tara Leigh’s writing with this book.
I judge a romance by how much a book makes me feel. By how many different emotions it makes me feel, and how deeply. Let me tell you this, this book brings ALLLL of the emotions. Anger, happiness, angst, tears (both happy and sad), and the aww factor as well.
I absolutely LOVED Landon and Piper. I will say this, there were times that I did not like Landon because of the substance abuse. I know, I know, Rockstar…. I get it. It is a personal dislike. I really love the way Ms. Leigh handled the problem in the story. I still wanted to go all momma bear and smack Landon upside the head and knock some sense into his head. I am still mad at him for what he did for Piper 6 years ago. I understand initially, but after they came back from the cabin… not so much. Piper, I am so sorry sweetie, your parents SUCK!!! What your father did to you, (no ladies, not that)…. You were an innocent in what happened between them. I just wanted to punch them. See, anger. Landon, your parents and some of the fosters, they were worse. Until you found Mike and Sarah… My heart broke for you when…. Stop, sorry ladies no spoilers. I will say this, what happened then was a VERY big reason Landon went through a lot of what he went through. The biggest emotional upheaval was at the hospital, DARN, I have to stop, I said no spoilers. Just saying, I cried like a baby and screamed NOOOOOO!!!!! And started reading faster to find out what was going to happen!!! And Shania (my aww factor), I just wanted to hug her to bits.
I really thought Ms. Leigh’s story telling skills were phenomenal in this book. I loved the story so much. Rock Legend is the second book in the Nothing But Trouble series, and I have to say, before I was finished reading Rock Legend, I bought Rock King the first book in the series, and I look forward to November 2018 when Rock Rebel, the third book in the series will be released.
One last thought… I LOVED the name Luci and its meaning…… I cried here too, happy tears 😊
Thank you for reading my review. Now, go hit that purchase button, this book is that great.

Rock Legend by Tara Leigh was the s cond book in the series. I really loved this second chance romance. Landon the famous Drummer gets a second chance with the love of his life he left behind to find fame. Looking forward to more books from this series!

The second book from Nothing but trouble series. In this one, we read about the second chance between Piper and Landon. After seven years their path cross again and the attraction and chemistry are still going strong. This time Landon doesn't want Piper to let go. For Piper is really hard to work with Landon because the professional boundaries are easy to cross. The second time that they start their relationship is much deeper they reveal thing that in the past were left unspoken. Unfortunately the love, trust doesn't last and Landon finds another way to cope with the loss. What reason will be enough strong for him to start rehab and fight for love? Really well-written story after half of the book we see an unexpected twist. Both Piper and Landon are well developed I didn't fell in love with them but I loved reading their story. By Landon felt some spark that I didn't feel, I liked Piper more, her story is sad really sad to have a family but no love. That is why is great to read the end and all the changes.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly.

5 Rockin' Stars!
Piper and Landon have a past. When Piper was in college and Landon was a struggling musician, they had a love affair that ended with Landon leaving one day and never coming back. And Piper didn't know why ... oh, she knew where he was, after all his band had become a hit and she saw him all over the tabloids and social media with women ... many different women. Six years later she was a talent agent's assistant and is assigned to babysit Landon to make sure he stays out of trouble. The only problem was, she was the one in trouble.
Even though Landon was a total a$$hole and a mess, I couldn't help but love him ... he was just so broken and I could see that little boy through his arrogant exterior. And Piper ... I have to give her a lot of credit for even being able to talk to him after what he did to her. She is just that take charge and get it done kinda gal. There were so many twists and turns that I just didn't see coming and kept me turning the page long into the night. This book had me laughing, crying, and swooning ... in other words the trifecta. WOW ... Ms Leigh sure knows how to write a sex scene ... HOT! I highly recommend you take Piper and Landon's journey ... you won't regret it! I can't wait for the next book ... Dax and Verity.
I received an ARC courtesy of Forever - Grand Publishing through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Rock Legend is a second chance love story. It's the second in the Nothing But Trouble series.
I really enjoyed the banter between the hero and heroine. This was a lot of fun to read. Can't wait to read the 3rd book in the series!
Many thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author. All opinions are my own.

Rock Legends are Nothing But Trouble! Take Landon, for instance, he is deep into the rockers' life which means he plays his drums, lives on booze and drugs, and takes his groupies to bed in threes.
He has a horrific past, he has made more than his shares of mistakes, and this life is his way to numb out the pain and guilt. Deep down, he wants a family to love and who will love him. But, since that is something he does not trust himself to cherish and protect, he steers away from it.
Piper and Landon were a HOT item years ago. And then one day, he disappeared from her life without even a phone call or a note. Now as Piper works for the band PR Manager, she has been careful to avoid running into Landon at all cost. He was the "one" for her. Nevertheless, she continually reminds herself of what he has made of his life. She is no groupie and being dumped again would be devastating.
There is a lot going on in this book. These characters have to come to grips with their pasts and the choices they have made. Guilt is the resounding undercurrent and dealing with it is the crux of this plotline. "Nothing worth keeping is easy." Both have to grow up, accept themselves, and learn to fight for what they want in life. This is a moving and sometimes thrilling journey you will not want to miss. Accepting yourself as you are can be the most difficult thing in life you can accomplish.
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I thank the author for sharing this book with me.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, rock star romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

4.5 stars!
After falling madly in love with the first book in this series, Rock King, I had high expectations for this one, and it did not let me down! A second-chance rockstar romance that is sweet, intense and passionate with a tortured hero and a strong yet vulnerable heroine, this book had all the feels, and I was completely sucked in from start to finish. I loved it!
Landon is the drummer of rock band Nothing But Trouble, but he’s just as well known for his legendary skills between the sheets. Considered the sexiest man in rock, he is a legendary playboy whose life is nothing but women, partying and music, but he is hiding a painful past and he’s about to come face to face with one of the biggest parts of it.
Piper works in PR for the firm that handles the band’s management. She has managed to stay in the background for the last few years, hiding the fact that once upon a time, she and Landon were each other’s whole worlds. It’s been six years since he left her without a word and she still carries a lot of pain from his abandonment. But when they meet up once again, all of those feelings are uncovered and the feels are unleashed!
I walked away without a backward glance, so afraid that if I turned around, even for just a split second, I’d be incapable of leaving her at all. Ever.
And I’d been running from that regret ever since.
OMG, I love a second chance romance, and Landon and Piper’s reunion is absolutely fantastic! Full of intensity, emotion and sizzling chemistry, you can feel everything that is between them, and I loved them together! Though so much has happened since they last saw each other, neither of them can fight their attraction, and their passion for each other is explosive, as is their unreserved need to be together.
“Just because I had reasons for leaving you before doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a goddamn mistake. One I’m never making again, you hear me? … Wasted six years without you, I don’t want to waste another hour.”
But the pain of their pasts and have left their mark on both of them. Landon in particular has been through so much, and he’s been left damaged and scarred. I could feel his pain, and my heart ached for him! And Piper has her own issues that she’s dealing with. They have a difficult journey ahead of them with twists and turns and more heartache, and I could not put this book down as it all played out.
“Jesus Christ, Pippa. Do you have any idea what you do to me? You completely wrecked me. The mess I’ve made of my life, you make me want to fix it. You make me think I can/i> fix it. but more than anything else – when I’m with you, I want to fucking live. Just take everything I can out of this one shot we’re all given. And I want to rock the shit out of it. Not just on stage or in a music studio. But with you. Anywhere and everywhere…with you.”
And yes! The romance! It’s sweet, super sexy and beautifully emotional. They have to work hard for their happy ending, but they get it, and I had tears in my eyes as it all happened for them – topped off with an absolutely gorgeous epilogue!
“You deserve the world, Landon Cox.”
He touched his forehead to mine, his breath ghosting across my lips. “You are my world, Piper Hastings.”
I loved this book. It completely sucked me in, and I fell I love with these characters and their beautifully emotional story.
“Been waiting my whole life for one person, Piper. You. I love you, and I’m not letting you go, ever again.”
The book ties in really nicely as part of the Nothing But Trouble series, though you could read it as a standalone – but Rock King is a fantastic read and you wouldn’t want to miss out on that one! And with the next book hinted at in this one, I am so excited for this series to continue.
A fantastic read!
4.5 stars.

Landon is Nothing But Trouble's drummer.
description
And Piper - we already met her in the first book too. She's working for the band's PR Agency.
Six years ago, at college, she was very happy in love with a guy. And that guy later decided against her and their love by choosing his rock star career. Now he's the drummer for Nothing But Trouble.
Poor Piper tries to stay away from the band by handling other clients, but it's not easy. She's friends with the singer's girlfriend and after a concert she finally comes face to face with Landon again.
Landon is shocked to see her. He missed her like crazy. But she's better off without him and troubles.
But maybe they should hook up again to get them out of each other's systems?
But then, after one of Landon's drunk nights, Piper's boss sends her to be Landon's 'babysitter'.
And the old feelings are still there ... but also all their past and current problems ...
What will happen with Piper and Landon?
Will there be a Happy End???
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!☺

#ROCKSTARROMANCE!!!!

Eeep! I'm the biggest rockstar romance fan ever!
And this was another very adorable and sexy and heartbreaking one!
A possible second chance at love and a happily ever after for our darling drummer Landon.
He's a bit of a manwhore. Just a lil' bit ;)
But Piper is the one that he let get away six years ago. And he regretted it ever since. Even though he knows that she's better off without him. Poor guy.
He has a lot of stuff to work through until he can ride off into his happy end sunset with Piper!
Piper has a lot to work and think through too.
And we adore (almost) every moment of that journey! ☺
A tiny little thing I didn't love-love? The book was basically done a little after the 50% mark. We could've stopped with a happy end. But then more things happen. They should've / could've happened a bit sooner, that way it wouldn't have divided the book into two halves. Now it's basically a 2-part book. Which was totally ok - I still loved the whole story and all the people in it! But it could've been done/written a tiny little bit differently.
But the book was a really great second-chance rock star romance with some very sad and moving and some sexy and adorable moments!!
And now I can't wait to see what Dax & Verity will have to tell us in their book! ☺
ROCK LEGEND was a really adorable & heartbreaking second-chance Rock Star Romance! Hurry to your nearest amazon - Landon will be sold out in no time!!!

Tara Leigh is a new-to-me author and I"ll be looking for more and going back to read the first book in this series...Th band members have some messed up backgrounds and have worked hard to get where they are with a lot of work to go.
This second chance romance is sweet, sexy, and both heartbreaking and heartwarming. A fast paced story that will leave you with a smile.

Although I haven't read the first book in this series, it didn't have any negative effect on my reading of this book. You can definitely read Rock Legend as a standalone.
This is a highly satisfying rock star romance. Unashamedly sexy but with a backstory of depth and emotion. A great cast of characters and plenty of twists and drama to keep you turning the pages. Some brilliant turn of phrases and a well thought out plot complete this as an enjoyable read.

I picked up this book by plot, I mean d second chance and a member of a rock band couldn't go wrong wright ?! I had never read anything this author, but it turned out that I liked the book. I not loved, but it was a nice read.
There's drama, there's cliché and more cliché, has a hero means weak for my taste and has a broken hero. So, like the book, rock theme, second chances and anguish believe will like the book.

This was a cute second chance romance! Landon left Piper without a word 6 years ago but lately he’s been missing what he had with her. When opportunity strikes Landon doesn’t waste any time trying to win Piper back! Piper and Landon had been through so many highs and lows and I was so happy that they were able to get to their happy ever after! I love a good rockstar romance and this book did not disappoint!
