Really enjoyed the storyline. Kept me entertained and as always love being able to read new to me authors.

Another great little read from the dirty bits series. This one is my favorite so far there was nothing I did not like about the cover was hot the story was hotter. It was a fantastic quick read and I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to all.

Quick read but a really cute story! Luke has always dreamed of this model he once saw in a magazine so when her copy stepson the bus at camp he is so excited he has to hide it. When Tess goes to be an assistant counselor at the camp to get her volunteer hours for her teaching degree, she is happy to be assigned to Luke in the horse area. The problem is there is a no fraternization clause and Luke could lose his job and Tess could be kicked out but the attraction is strong which leaves them to find a way or give up.

This series of short, sexy, and super-fast romances is very enjoyable – and this one is also a satisfying read.

Based in a summer camp – which I, as a Brit who has seen plenty of films of US summer camps, recognised immediately! – Luke, head cowboy in charge of riding lessons and trail rides sees the embodiment of his fantasy woman. In fact, he soon realises that Tess is even better than his dream of a green-eyed woman. But they should not be engaging in any relationship whilst working at the camp. Their hormones override good sense, and they use every surface that they can.

A rather lovely twist turns this into a really sweet, sexy story and is a very satisfying short read.

Quick, dirty and just right. Luke and Tess were a steamy couple. Enjoyable read. I loved the chemistry between Tess & Luke and though the relationship was mainly sexual they had some great intimacy not having to do with sex.

Rough Ride is one of the titles in Carina Press' recent Dirty Bits imprint, and if you're looking for a quick, smutty read, you can usually find it under this imprint, but if you're looking for a smutty read with either a plot or memorable characters, you aren't going to find it here, and this one-hour read gets only a 1-star from this reader.

What there is of a plot is simple--during summer break, Luke is working with the horses at a sleep-away camp, and he has been fantasizing for years about a green-eyed brunette he saw in magazine photo, and she's been his favorite fantasy to get-off to ever since, and no sooner is he introduced when we get to see his fantasy in action while he takes a shower.

When the counselors and CITs (counselors in training) arrive by bus, Luke spots a pretty brunette with green eyes (Tess) getting off the bus and immediately he's in lust with her because she resembles his fantasy girl. The two strangers have a hot stare-down and can't take their eyes off one another.

In less that one day, he's having sexual encounters with her any time they're alone, although the camp forbids fraternization. For a 20-year-old, Tess is pretty darn clear that she wants to engage in rough sex with Luke, and I just wasn't buying it, since they barely knew each other's names and hadn't had a single conversation. Considering the fact that Tess is only 20 years old, and that her few previous sexual encounters have been nothing more than heavy petting and missionary, she's pretty demanding and brazen for a relative novice. Needless to say that hot and horny Luke is only too happy to fulfill both his fantasies and hers. Even though they try to stay away from one another because Luke doesn't want to risk his annual summer gig, they barely steer clear of one another for two weeks, and, of course, when they resume their sexual encounters they, get caught.

As characters go, these two are as one-note as it gets. They never do anything but have sex, and if they're not having sex, they're thinking about having sex. It seems that they never think about anything but sex, and if they ever did have a conversation in this short read, it eluded me entirely.

I have no problem with any of the sex or kink in this or any other story, but the problem is that there's not much story to this story. We know as little about these two characters by the HEA ending as we did from the very first page, and I couldn't have cared less about either one of them, and when you don't even know anything about the characters, reading about them engaging in different sexual positions just isn't a turn-on for this reader. Quite frankly, there's a lot of much better and more well-written smut out there, and this short story just didn't make the grade.

These dirty bits book are my thang! Short and sexy with a great story everything you want in a book in a bite sized bit! Riding Rough was just that and more. I cant wait for more from this author and more Diety BitsM

Rough Ride is a quick and dirty read. The H/h met at summer camp where they both worked, and despite the no fraternization rule they hooked up pretty much from the start, LOL. I was here for the smut, and I'm really satisfied by the smut. The epilogue was surprisingly sweet.

This book is exactly as described. It s a fast and dirty read. The Tess and Luke are pretty well developed as characters. The story line is believable and interesting. The words and the story flows well. Very enjoyable and easy to read in one sitting.

Quick and dirty sexy read. Nothing says insta-lust like fantasizing about your perfect woman. And then meeting her in person. Will rules keep you apart?

I'm really loving some of these Dirty Bits books from Carina Press. Some are better than others but this one, WOW. Rough Ride is steamy and sexy, fun and flirtatious, right off the bat and it does not stop. The story moves quickly, just like any of the other Dirty Bits books, but for some reason this one ticks all the boxes. It has the added bonus of a really good Epilogue, really bringing the story to a great ending.

Tess and Luke are both really likable characters, they're fun together, adventurous, and open. I enjoyed their banter so much that I could not stop reading, and really couldn't wait to get to the end. Really fun times for such a short read.

Short and super hot, this book provides readers with and entertaining and enjoyable way to spend a couple hours. An instalust story, that is fun and sometimes sweet, offers plenty of steamy scenes, has characters that are likeable and chemistry you can just feel zinging through the pages. If you are a fan of steamy, heat filled reads, are short of time or just enjoy a shorter read that provides a lot of reading pleasure without a lot of time commitment, this one's for you.

I'm not too sure why, but I am addicted to erotic novellas that I can devour in less than an hour. I can't seem to get enough of them. Maybe it's because we're fully into Summer and it's not hot enough outside. Let's kick up the heat on my Kindle...

I loved A.S. Green's Rough Ride. It was my 2nd time reading one of her Dirty Bits novella and I want more. Although you're only with Tess and Luke for a short time, I still felt the connection with them. They were well developed and lovable characters. The chemistry and sexual tension between them was sizzling hot. I loved their romance and that ending. A great little novella on a hot, summer day.

Camp counselors Tess and Luke have an instant attraction but must be careful since they could lose their jobs if their romance is discovered. They fight the a
ttraction, a very little bit, lol, but the irresistible pull makes staying apart impossible.

This was a quick, hot read. I do expect a bit of insta-love with a book this short, but I have read other novellas that manage to put some depth in the romance even with a short number of pages. I love stories with sexy cowboys, but I think this is more of a summer camp setting with horse back riding as part of the summer camp fun.

Rough Ride is the perfect kind of read if you just want some quick smutty fun. I have Wild Child a full-length story on deck, also by A.S. Green, which might be more my kind of read.

Overall, book delivers on what it promises a short, sex filled book that can be read very quickly with a HEA. Good premise overall authenticity of the characters fell a little flat for my liking but it was an easy, one sitting read.

Would recommend to those lovers of erotica where it is more sex based then character development or plot based.

This book was everything I wanted it to be and everything I had been hoping for from Carina's "Dirty Bits" line. It was super steamy while still being incredibly sweet, featured some impressive character development in a short span of time. PLUS there are horses! What more could you want?
