The 3rd in this kinky C-Suite series, the erotic scenes continue to heat up. This can be read as a standalone. Kennedy Keller is a VP and she fought hard for the position. She the one who is in control at the office. When a chance encounter with Matt reveals she may prefer not to be in control in the bedroom, it could be a deal breaker for Kennedy.

It is nice to see a lead where the woman is a strong and confident. She succeeds at work and also plays hard with the illicit sex parties for the power movers. This erotic playground is a safe haven where anyone's desires can be fulfilled with no judgment. The hard part is when relationships develop and move out of the discreet after hour play time.

The chemistry between Kennedy and Matt is hot. For a re-awakened dominant to play with a questioning submissive, it is the kind of chase I enjoy watching. The sensual courtship is kinky and arousing. Having the "real world" situations intrude into their escape from reality is nicely done. This erotic romance is recommended to kinky readers who enjoy dominant men and strong female submissives.

I started this series from the beginning. Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone. If you are into Erotica Romances, this title will be for you. The scenes are not censored so beware. Characters are well developed with a nice pace to the story

Another new and exciting story from The Boardroom. Again, a fresh and original storyline had me totally engrossed in the book, waiting and wondering how they were going to get to the Boardroom and just what would happen when they got there. An Alpha male and an Alpha female make for one good story.
Kennedy had no choice but to be on her toes, large and in charge in a world that was made for men and has been invaded by a woman. Her business practices, her sexuality, her life are run by her. She sees what she wants and works until she gets it. She doesn't give up control to anyone or anybody. She has and will keep proving to her father that she can and will run the family business. But, sometimes, it feels good to let go. One night, one man … it can't hurt to let him have the reins. She'll never see him again so she's got nothing to lose. Until the night is over and she can't stop thinking about him, about the night, about his dominance. It's time to take back control of her sexuality the only way she knows how. The Boardroom.
Matt doesn't let his dominance show. He's learned his lesson. His priorities in life are his children and his business. Ever since his wife walked out on him because he couldn't give her what she needed outside the bedroom. Abandoning their kids, he's all they ever had and would not jeopardize their relationship for anyone, especially a woman. But, he can't get Kennedy out of his mind. Maybe it's time to take Trevor up on his offer to go to The Boardroom.
What a surprise they both had.
A whole different story by a wonderful author who knows how to take her readers on a fantastic journey through an erotic world with men who have the biggest hearts and woman who know what they want. I am truly stunned that Lynda Aicher is able to bring different stories and scenarios to life. The members of the Boardroom are intriguing and interesting and she knows just how to bring out the best in all of them. I loved Matt's family and how they rallied around him. His children were both fun and fascinating and his mom just stole my heart. But Matt and Kennedy together, were just wonderful. I'm not sure but they may be my favorite pair yet to have entered the Boardroom and left with an HEA.

Being in a high power position required you to stay in control at all times. Giving up that control heightened the situation and gave Kennedy the release she was looking for. Meeting Matt at a convention was what they both needed to move their stagnant lives forward. Finding that one person happens when you least expect it. Great continuation of the series.

Thank you for writing a book that has main characters who were a bit older than what's currently trending the romance genre. The chemistry between Matt and Kenzie had a credible feel to it, and I enjoyed seeing them slowly realize what was missing from their lives and what they did to resolve it.

If you love a strong, smart, engaging, sexy female lead, Strictly Confidential is the book for you!! From the very first pages, I was fully engrossed in Kennedy and Matt's romance. I couldn't help but to root for them to get beyond their past hang-ups about "what's expected" in the bedroom. I loved that they came to The Boardroom for their own needs and wants, without judgement.

An excellent addition to this fantastic series!

Strictly Confidential is a must read for lovers of a strong female lead! Kennedy is a woman who’s made her way to the top, clawing and fighting. Strong, beautiful, intelligent, and fierce, she’s the VP for her father’s company. Don’t let that fact fool you. She had to work three times as hard to be noticed, stay on top, and gain respect. A woman used to being on her guard, she prefers to seek her sexual relief in a venue of her own choosing, and design. The Boardroom is a group for high powered men and women to come to sexually sate themselves.

Exclusive, safe, and private, it’s always been a way for Kennedy to work her frustrations and stress away… until Matt. An unexpected one-night stand with the strong, dominant businessman has her wiring crossing. He’s broken through the wall she keeps up, and uncovered a submissive side, she didn’t know existed. When you add in the fact that he’s a potential client for her company, he should be off limits. But neither of them is playing by the rules they usually set for themselves.

A self-made, single father devoted to his kid, successful navigating a career, and dominant in the best ways, Matt was irresistible. I enjoyed watching him, and Kennedy navigate their way through the emotions neither expected and the give and take of the power they both wielded so expertly.

3.5 stars
M/F romance, BDSM

Matt is recovering from thinking that his desires to be a dom are not good for him. He felt that he was losing control. However, when he meets Kennedy, he can't help but want again. His dom side is coming out and despite the fact that he wants to remain in some control, she is a weakness for him. When he lets his dom out to play, Matt realizes that he might find everything he's ever wanted in Kennedy.

Kennedy has worked hard for everything that she has. With a father who is less than approving, despite her following in his footsteps, she has to work twice as hard as anyone else in her position. When she needs to let off some steam, she enters the Boardroom. After she meets Matt and after they've had a few encounters, she can't help but crave what he can offer.

They need to work out a few issues, but overall, this is a good read about the lifestyle and how power and control can lead to a happy ending.

Kennedy is a woman in business. She's worked hard to be taken seriously in the very male-dominated world of shipping pallets. She's hoping that one day her father will see her hard work and reward her with the business she's helped to build. After a long day of networking and seminars, Kennedy is looking for some distraction, something completely not like her daytime persona. She decides to pick up a man in the hotel bar for a fling.

I liked Kennedy's character. She's no nonsense and full-on professional. Keeping business and pleasure clearly separate and working hard to be taken seriously in her business. She's relatable to today's women in the workforce, we want it all and don’t want to be made to feel guilty. Worrying a lot about being undermined and losing ground, I feel for her struggles. I like that she's also lonely and wanting companionship.

Matt gave up women and flings after his horrible divorce. His wife left him for a full time D/s relationship, abandoning their two children. Matt has dedicated his time and energy to his kids and his job. But when Kennedy approaches him in the hotel bar, he decides maybe it's time to have a little fun. He's unsure he can keep his dominant side from appearing during sex, because he doesn't want to get sucked into another D/s situation like his ex. Matt is an easy character to feel for from the beginning and he only grows on you as the story unfolds. Putting your kids first is noble in my eyes.

These two characters do burn it up when they're between the sheets. I enjoyed every encounter from the hotel room tryst to the Boardroom scenes. Kennedy letting Matt touch her during her usually exclusive "her pleasing herself only" scenes gave the emotional connection the story needed to get these two characters going.

I'm really quite enjoying all the Boardroom books even if this one wasn't my favorite, it was still a good installment.

This is the third book in the series – although there have been a couple of novellas too – I would recommend that you read them all, but this would standalone too, as long as you understand the rules of The Boardroom!

Kennedy has been making sure that she is treated with the same respect as a man in her business life, trying to get her father to take her seriously. She uses the Boardroom to retain control over her sexual encounters too. So when at a conference away from home, she indulges in an evening with someone who attracts her attention, she surprises herself even more by allowing him to direct the evening.

Matt has been bringing his children up alone, ever since his wife, who wanted a Master, left them as he did not want that type of relationship. His failure to satisfy her needs, and looking after his children, has meant he has not dated since, but his encounter with Kennedy could change his mind about that staying alone. Shame that they did not exchange details.

So when they meet in The Boardroom, they are both surprised, but both accept that there is something between them. We then get to watch on as they navigate through the complications that come with relationships that both of them have previously avoided. I really liked their every day, as well as the very passionate and fulfilling emotional journey, indulging in a simple level of D/s which works for them.

Another good installment in the series.

Strictly Confidential is the final book in The Boardroom trilogy, and I think it's the best of the series. What I really appreciated was the maturity of the characters. The hero and heroine are extremely complex characters with superbly clear voices. Ms. Aicher offers readers a second chance at love story that flows easily and quickly. She always treats the subject of BDSM and the community with respect, so the scenes are erotic, sensual rather than prurient. The dialogue fit the characters and the situations, which also contributed to the ease with which I read this novel. I'm sorry to see the series end.

I truly enjoyed this romance. It wasn't heavy on the BDSM, but you could feel the Dominant-Submissive aspect within this romance. Kennedy is a head-strong woman that works in a man's world. Matt is a man of control, but left that part of his sex life behind. I loved seeing how similar they were and how they tried to keep their romance at bay. They wanted strictly sex, but things changed once they played those roles of dom and sub. I liked how they balanced it out and how they new they didn't want the dom-sub relationship to take complete control. They enjoyed the aspects of it and found a way to make it work. Beautifully written romance. Totally recommend.

This is my First read from Ms. Aicher and I'm in AWE. This book was well written, had some plot (for the erotic book it's not obvious sometimes) and Great engaging characters.
Kennedy is a woman That most of us can Connect with - she tries to survive in all men World which is not easy for sure. She does as strong and confident. But what if she needs A moment of release form being on guard?
Matt is a Man That Would bring most women to their extasy as he is an Alpha male (dom in The past).
Then their lives after one smoking HOT Night got reconnected what will happen? Which responsibilities will be more important?
I devoured That book with so high pleasure That made me squirm inside!

Strictly Confidential, the third book in Aicher's The Boardroom series, readers are introduced to two new Boardroom members - Kennedy Keller and Matt Hamilton. Matt and Kennedy visit the Boardroom for different reasons. The daughter of the CEO, Kennedy has been groomed for the corporate office all her life. The Boardroom allows her the freedom to own her sexuality. It also gives her a sense of power knowing that men come to the Boardroom for her. After his wife left him and their two children, Matt has had to lock away a side of him that cost him his marriage. She wanted more than what Matt could give. Kennedy isn't submissive and it surprises her that she's turned on by Matt's control in the bedroom. Matt doesn't want to be a dominate, but Kennedy's willingness towards control play is more than he could ever imagine.

To be honest, it took me a couple chapters to get into Strictly Confidential. I'm starting to think I am coming into a reading slump because once I got over whatever roadblock I was dealing with I couldn't put the book down. I know I've been saying this a lot lately, which is why I'm pretty sure I have a slump on the horizon. Once I got hooked, I was all in. The best part about this book was that the beginning took place in my hometown. Yes! I love books that are in places I know. I also loved the dynamics between Kennedy and Matt. They were both vulnerable characters for different reasons. I loved how their vulnerability brought them together. Yes, they originally connected through sex, but it was also through sex that they were able to express themselves and grow closer. I'm all for raunchy sex scenes that have a deeper meaning and that runs throughout this series. I am already looking forward to the next novella, which I may actually pick up next. I need something quick and sexy and Lynda always delivers.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the concept of two strong willed people finding love. I liked the chemistry that Matt and Kennedy have from the start. This book had me turning the pages so fast. I had to know how this book turned out. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance.

Strictly Confidential is off the charts, smoking hot!! Book three in The Boardroom series, Lynda Aicher has given us a spicy, but profound story. All the books in the series are great, but I seem to have a special place in my heart for Matt and Kennedy!
Kennedy is a successful women working for her father's company. He is very hard on her and she feels she has been continually "proving herself" where others would have already achieved that. The only place she feels her own power in within the walls of "the Boardroom". Its a place where she is not judged, she can just be.
After a conference, Kennedy meets Matt. Sparks fly! He is every thing wrapped up in a pretty perfect package! Sexy as hell and oh so dominant. She can't resist a piece of that!
Matt stuffed down those dominant feelings after his wife left years ago. When Kennedy saddles up to him at the conference, all those repressed feelings rise to the top. Their back and forth sexually charged banter, has him drooling for more! He can't push the thoughts away!
Their night turns into something they both wanted and craved, but never expected as well. Neither can get the other off their minds! At a chance encounter at a Boardroom scene, Matt and Kennedy throw caution to the wind. They embark on a journey of empowerment, understanding, and love.
I am crazy for Matt and Kennedy! They clicked for me and I loved seeing their love bloom. Yes boundaries are tested and rewritten, but the growth from the testing is so very important. Both had issues to work through and being together seemed to give those issues a chance to breathe and be dealt with.
All of the books in this series have had intriguing storylines. I recommend you pick up this one along with the others! I look forward to reading what Lynda Aicher comes up with next!

I like how conscientiously the hero and heroine enter into a relationship. They make sure they have feelings for each other. He talks to his kids from a previous relationship about his new relationship. There are other parts of it I wasn't too fond of, but that was pretty good.

The Boardroom Series is amazing series, hands down, and has everything a reader could want. Powerful female lead? Steamy scenes with a worthy hero? Storyline interesting enough to make the erotica more than just a guilty pleasure? Check to all the boxes. It’s difficult to find a truly erotic novel with all the perfect ingredients but Miss Aicher manages to encompass them all with ease. Well written with a powerful and sometimes emotion story, Strictly Confidential is another solid addition to a great series.

Without giving too much away, it's hard to write a truly worthy review. Simply put, it has everything from dynamic characters to an engaging storyline to chemistry that's off the charts. If that sounds interesting to you, then don't pass this novel up.

Ms. Aicher writes erotic romance with a heart. I am so enjoying the different dynamics of this series where deep dark desires are satisfied in board rooms across the Bay Area. I love how the author blends, technology, sex and love in a series of romances where its not just about sex...…..
Kennedy works in a man's world and has to constantly keep her game face on even as she longs for an occasional night where she can let down her guard. When she meets Matt Hamilton at a bar in her hotel she's instantly attracted to him. It appears the attraction is mutual and they take it into his hotel room where Kennedy spends an unforgettable night.
Now that her appetite is whetted and she knows what she needs she decides to brave the Boardroom and design an encounter to give her the same outcomes. Fortunately for Kennedy her night at the Boardroom brings her back in touch with Matt who is in his own way finding his own way path to his sexuality have given up being a Dom. Can the boardroom help them with a happily ever after?
This is a sweet tender romance which is developed really well. I believe this is the best book in the series so far and can't wait to see where the author continues to take the series.

I really enjoyed this book from the first page, just as I have this author’s other books! They are hot and steamy but with plenty of heart! Her books are very easy to get into and enjoy. It was everything I have come to expect and love from this author.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

Unlike the previous novels, this one doesn’t start in The Boardroom, but rather at a conference in SoCal, when Kennedy spies a particularly alluring man at her hotel bar. Kennedy’s at the conference as the VP of Operations at her family’s company, and the handsome man, Matt, is the new CEO of a trucking company – though neither of them know who each other is, as Matt refuses to talk about work. Their encounter is ridiculously hot and steamy, and since Matt insisted on no work talk, she leaves with no idea of who he is. Back in the SF Bay Area at their respective companies, though, they both find they’re having problems forgetting the other, which leads them both to attend a scene in The Boardroom. Sparks fly, but between their respective careers and families, is there any room for their relationship?

“Resentment got her nowhere, but owning and using her assets gave her power she had no trouble wielding. Her mother thrived among the social elite, and Kennedy had been raised to excel within that set as well. But she needed more than that. She wasn’t born to simply exist. She had things to prove and security to achieve — for herself.”

A lot of the direction in the book comes from Kennedy’s need to be in control of her life, to be the dominant person in her business negotiations. Matt, though, fulfills her long-buried need to let someone else take over control, but only in the bedroom. I don’t think it’s a secret to anyone that women need to work twice as hard as men to get the same recognition, and Kennedy’s further hampered by the fact that she works for her family’s company, with her father as CEO. Her job is pretty much her life, and pretty much her only personal activity is putting on scenes at The Boardroom. Matt, by contrast, is an ex-military man with two teens from his divorce, and he takes being there for his family seriously, even though he is also committed to his job. Matt has his own issues with dominance and submission, and has pretty much sworn off that lifestyle for the sake of his family (the story behind that is convoluted, and, I think, one of the parts of the book that worked least for me).

One of the issues I had with the book is that I didn’t care much for Kennedy. I loved how she owned her sexuality and how take-charge she was, but I didn’t like how she just put up with all the crap from her father. After all the angst with Kennedy’s father, I thought that particular story thread wasn’t very well wrapped up – we leave without much resolution. While I thought she loved her job – and excelled at it – I wasn’t sure if her dedication to Keller Pallets was because it was expected (she’d been working there since she took a job at the front desk as a teen) or because she really loved it. I had almost expected her to leave and become CEO of another company just to get some space from her family. I also had an issue with the main conflict of the book – that Kennedy couldn’t both be a powerful, in-charge woman and also someone who submitted to Matt. It just didn’t seem that far-fetched to me to understand that she could let down her guard with one person without affecting her professional life.

So, in summary, while I still enjoyed the book, I didn’t like it as much as the previous ones in the series. It does seem like things are finally being set up for Trevor’s story, though, so I’ll definitely continue reading to see what’s next.

I received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
