Strictly Confidential by Lynda Aicher is book Three in The Boardroom Series. This is the story of Kennedy Keller and Matt Hamilton. I have read the previous books, but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Kennedy has worked to be a strong, hard business women to prove to other and her father that she can handle the business world. But taking on night to herself to let her self be dominated sexually with Matt ends up leading to her wanting him more. Matt dealing with a bad breakup ends up taken a friends offer for to The Boardroom that leads him to Kennedy. Both end up with an attraction that cannot be stopped and each learning to get past their 'baggage'.
Really enjoyed this hot read!

Kennedy is a woman in a man's business world, determined to maintain her position. Matt is focused on building his company and taking care of his responsibilities. The couple meet and have a one night stand with no names, numbers just a one time thing. A few years later, Kennedy and Matt meet in the Boardroom an exclusive BDSM club. These two have sizzling chemistry. I enjoyed that they were older. A good addition to the series.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

I don't often make the foray into erotica. I don't know why erotica must always = BDSM. Something about this book caught my interest and when all is said and done, I actually enjoyed it.

What I really loved was that Kennedy wasn't a sub. You have no idea how happy that made me. I also liked that these characters weren't twentysomethings. That was absolutely amazing. I also loved that Matt was a father and that his kids are older, 15 and 19 respectively.

Oh and there was an actual plot, something I find lacking in a lot of erotic erm..romance.

So I was more than pleasantly surprised at this story. I loved Matt's kids and I liked Kennedy's issues. I liked that Matt's kids cared about him and his relationship and that they worried about him. Even better, I liked that a relationship built between them, even though I wish there were some more mental connection between them. Yes, they both had high power jobs. Yes, they both were into a bit of kink. I just wish there was something real they had in common.

The sex was smoking hot in this book. REALLY REALLY HOT. It also started pretty early on in the book, from hotel rooms to a super sexy sex club called The Boardroom.

So if you are looking for erotica with a little more story, this is definitely a book to try.

I enjoyed this book. I liked that the characters were older in age. This made the book more realistic to me. It had just enough steam in the boardroom and out. I liked watching Kennedy and Matt realize what was missing in their life, and how they slowly came to accept those feelings. This book is part of a series. You can read this as a standalone, but I think you would appreciate the series if read from the beginning.

We are back visiting the Boardroom again for another sexy exciting original storyline that really gets you hooked right away. Kennedy is the lone female in a male dominated job so she has to be an Alpha whether she wants to or not. Matt is an Alpha to his bones but he's been burned before so he tries to keep a lid on his dominant side. What happens when two Alpha's meet and the chemistry is so explosive that you can't deny it? Will the Boardroom help them be who theyre meant to be? Ms.Aicher has a gift for writing such great stories that take us on such an amazing journey. I would definitely recommend this book as well as the previous books in this great series!! I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Strictly Confidential is the third book in the "Boardroom" series. I did read the novella that started things out, Done Deal. So I understood the basic premise of "The Boardroom". Basically, it's private club of people who like to explore their kink side in a safe and private environment. The name comes from them using boardrooms of the members after hours. Scenarios are set up ahead of time and rules are set into place. This book features Kennedy and Matt. They have a semi anonymous one night stand and days later they end up in The Boardroom by coincidence. They find out their one night stand wasn't enough for them.

This book kind of confused me on a few levels. I didn't mind the club idea too much because it was all consensual. If that is your thing , then go for it. But I was confused by Kennedy and Matt in regards to what they wanted in their relationship. He was a dom, but didn't want a sub and she liked to give up control but wasn't a sub? The back and forth of all of that ended up being a bit too confusing. While I liked them together and as individual characters, the insta-love was too quick for me. What I loved most about the book was Matt's relationship with his kids and mother. I loved those moments in the book.

In the end, this was just an OK read for me. I may pick up the next one. What I really want is to know what is up with Trevor and Dani. That is the story I want!

Strictly Confidential was a hot little number, that I really enjoyed. From the very beginning the chemistry between Kennedy & Matt gave me all the feels. The sexiness and confidence both characters had was only added to the appeal of their story. And, Matt being a hot single dad up that a whole lot! Gosh, he was pretty everything.

I so happy with the way the author wrapped up their story. The ending totally made me smile.

I can't wait to read more by Lynda Aicher

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE

This was a different take from the usual boardroom series. First the couple meet outside the boardroom which isn't unusual because that has happened in other books in the series. But what's unique is that they have a one night stand and then go there separate ways only to meet back up again in the boardroom

I loved the connection between Kennedy and Matt. Appreciated how they tried to fight what they both knew they wanted and needed. Loved how they could only get what they wanted and needed from each other.

Another amazing story in the Boardroom series.

Review by Lorina for Love Romance Books Blog

I was asked by the author for an honest review.

This was a great book. The author pulls you right into the story and keeps you interested throughout. The story chronicles Kennedy, a woman trying to prove herself and make her way in a man’s world and Matt, a single father building focused on building his business and family. The two meet in a chance encounter and consequently discover that their worlds overlap in ways they didn’t expect. Both of them have made a concerted effort to suppress their kinky desires but soon discover that their sexual desires can be a complement to their lives rather than a conflict.

The characters were believable and relatable. I feel like there was a good balance between “real life” scenes and “fantasy” scenes. I believe that both are important to a great story. The crisis point of the story wasn’t quite as much of a challenge to overcome as I had hoped, but I did feel like it was a realistic situation. The writing was good and the billing ok was easy to read. I found it to be a great book for a casual read.

Overall this book was a pleasure to read. 5 stars.

This is the second book in The Boardroom series that I have read and just like the first one, this was an awesome story.

What sets this author apart and what makes Strictly Confidential such a fabulous story is first of all, the heat and off the charts connection between the main characters. The sizzling fire between them will touch you right in the gut. Erotic, sensual and so captivating!

The second thing is the entire flow and theme of the story. It’s unique with wonderful characters that made it tough to even put down. I want to see where the story goes in the future.

Linda Aicher has made a definite impression on me as a go-to-author. I know when I pick up a book by her, I will get interesting characters, a well-developed story, and very sexy scenes that will knock your socks off.

This book is definitely a win!

Life is about power—who has it, who doesn’t.

Matt Hamilton spent years fighting his urges and pushing his need power and control to the side until he met Kennedy Keller.

Matt and Kennedy are both at a business conference and after meeting in a bar end up having a one-night stand. They don’t exchange any information other than their first names, because they never expected to see each other again. Things don’t always go as they are planned.

Both Matt and Kennedy are members of The Boardroom. Kennedy sets up a solo scene in The Boardroom, in order to escape the man haunting her dreams. Matt, ends up being on the male participants that is watching her, and to everyone’s surprise is invited to participant in her scene.

I am a huge fan of The Boardroom series. Matt and Kennedy’s story may be my favorite. The instant chemistry between the two was amazing and following them through the journey together and individually was beautiful.

The secondary characters in this story were also great. Kennedy’s father and Matt’s children and mother also added to the story and the personal growth of the main characters. Of course, we did get more of Trevor and there is Kennedy’s best friend Dani.

I am looking forward to the next story in this series and hopefully, learning more about the founder of The Boardroom, Trevor.

Another fantastic Boardroom read, this one with a bit of a twist! What a great series!
Kennedy meets Matt at a convention, both bored they decide to entertain themselves. Matt is a rather new business owner, while Kennedy is a step or two away from running her father's business. Wealthy, business like and no nonsense is Kennedy. She's also a member of the Boardroom.
After meeting Matt and unable to shake the feeling she needs a night in the Boardroom. As always Trevor is present and on that night a newly invited member is also there, Matt. From there the story just explodes off the pages and twists and turns abound. It was an amazing story and not to be missed. I'd give it more than 5 stars. Well deserved.

This is the second book in the Boardroom Series that I have read and must say, although I am not a big erotica reader, I did really enjoy Kennedy and Matt's story. I really did enjoy the dynamic the author built between these two and loved the connection they shared

Matt Hamilton was your typical ex-military guy but I instantly fell in love with him. He was an Alpha male but he was tender and caring and he was a great dad, putting his kids first before himself. I loved that he had the Alpha side to him but he didn't show it or use it much, he was just the perfect amount of Alpha and Teddy bear all mixed into one.

I loved Kennedy's sassiness and loved how strong of a female character she was. But I also loved that although she was seen as such a confident woman, she also had her moments of weakness especially when it came to Matt.

I must say the chemistry between these two was instant and off the charts hot. The scenes happening between them were definitely panty wetting. The only thing I found with their story was it felt a bit insta-romance. There was great story, especially happening between these two but their love for each other, especially with not really having much history in this department, felt like it happened too fast and I think this mainly was due to us not see a lot of time in the book where they were not having sex, the time seemed to jump when they were just hanging out or having lunch, I would have loved to seen more of that as I think it would have help build there connection on that "Love" level

Overall a really great and scorching hot read. This lady knows how to write some hot hockey hunks but she truly knows how to write her scorching hot boardroom romances as well

Interesting

Scenes that are drawn out and so intense that you can’t help but feel their emotion. Plus a perfect HEA.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

Strictly Confidential (The Boardroom #3) - Lynda Aicher
4.5 stars

Another supremely satisfying read in this series with the main characters Kennedy and Matt giving great heat and passion to the story.

Sensual and sexy story with enough depth and character development to allow the reader to be immersed in the story.
Secondary characters add clarity to the background of both Kennedy and Matt but the sexual chemistry ignites the pages.

Thank you to the publisher who provided an ARC through Netgalley. I look forward to more from The Boardroom.

THIS WAS SO BAD!
I don't know how to say but everything is predictable, meaningless, characters are attracted to each other solely based on appearance but they keep being attracted just because of that. Not my kind of story sorry

4.5 Stars Kennedy and Matt story was an engrossing read. Strictly Confidential is book 3 in The Boardroom series and probably my favorite so far. I really enjoyed these two and look forward to reading more.

Absolutely wonderful

Lynda Aicher's The Boardroom series is one of the most sensual series I've ever read. Strictly Confidential, the most recent offering is a stand alone read with the quality of writing I've come to expect from the author.
Kennedy and Matt are well fleshed out, realistic characters who have an instant attraction that is simply off the charts. But what makes the story so special is how they each come to explore themselves and what they want from each other and out of life. I thought the secondary characters, family and friends gave the reader additional insight in how the main characters became who they were. I hope there will be many more books in this series, but I can hardly wait for Trevor's (the man who started the exclusive sex group) story.
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

Another keeper from Lynda Aicher. This is Kennedy and Matt story. It was a real page turner. This book is not just about the sex (which was sizzling hot), there is a very good story behind it. The interaction between Matt and his kids and Mum was very well written and funny at times. The chemistry between the two leads was amazing ( you will need a fan at some point). If you like Erotica with a good story, not just sex, this book is for you.
Thanks to the publisher via Netgalley for this ARC for an honest review That's my own.
