Light on the romance, heavy on the suspense. Needed more of their relationship. Griff and Rachel ended up with their HEA at the end, but you don't really get to see them together.

All I can say about Delores Fossen is that she’s got the “Finger On The Trigger” of her readers as she characterizes one amazing cowboy story after another! Fast and furious, intense and passionate, dangerous and deadly, her stories always have an element of mystery adding flavor to the story.
“Finger On The Trigger” is no different as Ranger Griff Morris and Rachel McCall battle the attraction between them as they wage a war against the threat shadowing a pregnant Rachel. Griff sure has his hands full with not only protecting Rachel, but also the baby she’s carrying.
Another fast paced story sure to keep you captivated!
Received an ARC from Harlequin Romance via NetGalley for an honest review.

It was great getting to visit the McCalls again. This family has so many people after them because of something that tore their family apart. Can they learn to be a family again? Thank you for allowing me to read and find a new author to follow.

This was such a fast paced mystery suspense novel that'll keep the readers on their toes. There was so much going on that I honestly had a hard time putting it down. When there wasn't the tense times of wondering what would pop up next with suspenses and life attempts there was a wee bit romance between the two main characters. Overall this was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it and if you love a good mystery romance type of book then you'll want to get your hands on this book!

Same old story over & over again. Rinse, Repeat.
I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but I feel as I read this same book over & over again now for years!
Ms Fossen's books are always about a Marshall or Ranger with an ex love who is in trouble and runs to him for help. There is always a baby - either his or someone else's, typically 3 characters who are suspects, a lot of shootings, a Hero who is angry & loathsome (somewhat) to heroine for most of the book and very little romance.
Yep. Noting changed in this one either but who knows, maybe someday I will be surprised.....

Finger on the Trigger by Delores Fossen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This follows a familiar theme. You have the lawman (this time a Texas Ranger), a woman he has loved for a long time (Rachel McCall), and a child (this time still in the womb. There is tension, danger, misdirection, and romance all worked into an enjoyable story. This is book two of the series and while it will stand alone I was missing some of the backstory as I had not read book one.
I received a free copy of the book in return for an honest review.
