This was a second chance romance and I throughly enjoyed it. This quick read was awesomely sweet and I pretty much read it in one sitting. I adore children in a romance as it seems much more realistic. Can't wait to read the rest of this series.

I enjoyed this book so much. While some of the elements were stock, the character development made them fresh again. I really liked the progression and the story held me to the end. I believe I read it in one day.

Kenize and Spencer had a brief heated nights while they were teens right before he was set to leave Haven on a mission to be rodeo champion. Now he has back in town with a bummed shoulder and a kid in tow that he just found out about. Spencer needs all the help he can get with his little girl, he doesn't have any experience of what to do with a child but will try to do his best with Kenzie at his side helping out. The thing they weren't expecting though was to developer feelings for each other.

I thought that this was such a sweet contemporary book. I loved both Kenzie and Spencers characters and learning about their family and why they were the way they were and why they made certain choices. I loved getting that dual point of views between them seeing what they really thought about each other and how they were handling everything that was being thrown at them. I loved how Kenzie was with Spencers daughter and I also appreciate how the author managed to keep the child in the story and that she didn't just fall off the face of the book. Not sure why that seems to be a trend with books like this but I'm happy that the child was very much active in the book in her own little way. I loved the romance and there was plenty but not and over bearing amount of steamy scenes which I also appreciate. Overall this was a pretty great contemporary romance I really enjoyed it.

This is a second chance story which is typically my go-to for romances but for me. While the characters are sweet and the storyline is not original, the issue for me was that I don't enjoy in my romances when Heros (or heroines) have babies with other people - especially after they have met. That is just a pet peeve for me and one that may not bother others. To each their own....

This is so much more than about second chances. It’s more like third, fourth or however more one needs. Kenzie and Spencer come back into each others’ lives seven years after an awkward incident in high school. But now he’s a rodeo star and she’s a physical therapist. There lives keep intersecting especially due to the arrival of his little girl. There’s awkwardness, distrust, bridges to cross, and in the end a discovery of the definition of family.

If you're looking for a short and sweet read, this is it!
Six Weeks to Catch a Cowboy is a tender story of true love finally coming home.

The plot is well rounded, it does not end on a cliffhanger. The characters are easy to love. I highly recommend this book for a weekend read.
