You can't go wrong with a lovely children's book that has a nice rhyme. Lovely illustrations and while different from the author's other books that teach a life lesson, this book uses the memorable Chester to teach colors. A favorite for sure!

"Chester’s Favorite Game provides an activity that will entertain young children anywhere -- finding things in many colors: White, blue, yellow, red, orange, brown, and black."

As the mother of 5 myself, I can certainly attest to the fact that kids get bored very, very quickly, so rather than just playing I Spy, this book would have provided a very nice distraction with the colorful illustrations and the rhyming text. In fact, I haven't met a Chester Raccoon book yet that I wouldn't want to own!

Highly recommend for all parents and grandparents of little ones:

5/5 stars.

I received a copy of this book free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion.

I can always use more color books, but this one takes a little different spin. I like the idea of the kids finding the different colors in things they see, rather than having the objects pointed out to them as being a certain color. It's something that can be carried beyond the book into real life and can be reinforced by parents or teachers without the book later.

Cute book that young children will enjoy while learning colors.

This book was very good with my young grandson. It challenged him to look at the world around him and look for colors and things. It was a very cute book and well organized for young readers. It totally kept his interest and one he wanted to hear more than once. I totally recommend this book if you have little ones in your life..
