Kieran Kramer is a new author to me and even though I didn't LOVE this story, it was well written and for the most part, interesting. There were just a lot of elements of the story that didn't gel with me, starting with Ella. She was kind of annoying in the way she seemed to harp and obsess about everything. Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes but I didn't love this one because there was just too much going on.
Some of the oddities that didn't make me love the story included Samantha Drake and her meddling when she hardly knew either of the main characters, and her friends seemed to be a little too involved in each other's lives. It just felt like so much was going on and not much of it featured Hank and Ella but rather them merely thinking about each other.

The story itself was decent but with so much going on, I found myself starting not to care.

I loved the previous book in this series, A Wedding At Two Love Lane, so I was really looking forward to reading Ella's story. Unfortunately, I found this book to be a little too sickly-sweet for my taste - as much as I love the close female friendship aspect of this series, and helping each other find love, the extra characters chipping in (Samantha, who doesn't know either Ella or Hank, was far-fetched) detracted from the protagonists' reunion story.

The numerous subplots were too ridiculous for me and I ended up skipping pages to get past them. Ella's family drama added nothing to the story and was plonked into the story at the end; Hank's cousin Pammy was a caricature and little more than a plot device to stick Ella and Hank together; Samantha was just very confusing; and Roberta was the only legitimate subplot (having hired the matchmaking agency) with an incredibly ludicrous story line.

I am sorry if this review sounds harsh - blame it on me being so disappointed, because I loved the previous book so much! I think overall the story needed some harsher editing and more focus on the main plot.

Another welcome book in the 2 Love Lane series. As with the others, a gentle romance, perfect for light reading.

I loved revisiting Two Love Lane. You can guarantee a crazy and loving time with the ladies and all their antics. Miss Thing is a scene stealer and the nonnas are a hoot!

Ella has a second shot at not only her first love of acting but her first true love- now famous star HANK! While they are getting reacquainted after their 10 year break up, Ella has a small scene in the film Hank is starring in that is currently filming in Charleston. A gorgeous co-star had me nervous the entire time so I won't spoil that!

An enjoyable read that gives love a second chance- showing us sometimes that earth shattering break up or loss was meant to be (her acting) and that true love is meant to be as well.

I have not read any of the other books in this series which I thought might hurt my enjoyment of the book. But this one does seem to stand alone. Ella is from a very large Italian family. Every year her father takes her to Serendipity 3 for her birthday. She meets Hank who is a busboy. they both want to be actors and they fall in love. Hank gets the opportunity move to the big time and leaves Ella. Ella stays in Charleston and is the co-owner of Two Love Lane, a matchmaking service. She still acts in the community theater.

fast forward 10 years and Hank is back in Charleston, a big-time movie star shooting a movie.

the story is heartwarming and fun. I think reading the earlier books will be helpful but not necessary. Thank you, Net Galley, for letting me have this book to review. enjoy!

Second Chance At Two Love Lane is another entertaining contemporary romance by Kieran Kramer. Ms. Kramer has provided us with a well-written book and filled it with outstanding, lovable characters. Ella is a part-time actress with the community theatre and a full-time professional matchmaker. Hank is Ella's ex and an actor coming to town to film a movie. Ella and Hank's story is loaded with drama, humor (gotta love Pammy and Miss Thing's antics) and sizzle. I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last and look forward to reading more from Kieran Kramer in the future. Second Chance At Two Love Lane is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved it! The complexity of the characters, Hank and Ella, and of their relationship is superb. Each of their roads to finding what really matters and what deeply drives them is well executed and draws you into their unforgettable story.
It is for certain that I will be reading the other two books in the Two Love Lane series!

Enjoyed reading this book The entire series has been very good. It's a story of two lovers finding their way back to each other after amicably paring ten years before. Very good story with lots of interesting characters.

I received a free ARC of this book through Net Galley to read and voluntarily review.

I received an e-book of this title and started it almost right away. I really enjoyed the first one in the series but this final one seemed to drag a bit in the middle. Still a good solid read for anyone who likes contemporary stories.

Second Chance at Two Love Lane is The third book in the series and Hank and Ella’s story. Readers are provided with the background on their relationship at the beginning. Unfortunately, I never felt any chemistry between the couple. The story felt very forced. I’m sorry to say that I enjoyed the first two books more.

A story about a couple’s second chance at love permeated with humor, warmth and the beauty of the simple pleasures in life. The beautiful city of Charleston is again the setting of the novel, and the glimpses we get are fascinating.
Kieran Kramer’s writing style is engaging and her characters earnest and true. Even the most crazy and unexpected things make sense in this heartwarming story, which proves that “sometimes the second time around is the right time” (loc. 3722, quote from ARC).

Ella has always wanting to be an actor. Her Papa took her to a restaurant every year on her birthday and told her to shoot for the stars. The last time she was getting ready to leave for college and met a busboy, Hank. He made a date four years from that day to meet back here. Both are interesting in acting and move in together. After being together for months her birthday arrives and she’s expecting an engagement ring but he tells he he got a part and is leaving. She is heartbroken and ends up in Charleston with her friends running a matchmaking business. Ella still performs in community theater and is happy. Until she finds out Hank is shooting a movie in her town. The only reason Hank took the part was to try and win Ella back but it won’t be near as easy as he hopes. She gets a small part in the movie and is living with Hank and his cousin Pammy. Ella is afraid of being hurt again but she still loves him.
Second chance at love. There is a push and pull between Ella and Hank. She pulls him close and then pushes away with her other hand. The characters were decent but Roberta and Miss Thing stole the story. Romantic. Family secrets. And each must make a decision about the future.

It's probably my favorite of the series so far!! I can't get enough of Miss Thing, Pete, Charleston Harbor, or pimento cheese spread. Hank was exciting and added another (and very delicious) layer to our heroine's life. She had her match making business, her large Sicilian family, and local community theater. It's a delightful mix and sights and scenes of Charleston mix right in. This is the great summer read!!
