This is a well organized book with different origami projects to create using a dollar or a dollar sized piece of paper. I felt that it was clear with its instructions although I had to read the legend for folds multiple times for some of them. I like to give dollars in the form of origami as presents and these have helped me expand my repertoire of animals.

Dollar Bill Animals in Origami is a book showing you how to make all sorts of different animals using origami done with dollar bills! These would make awesome gifts or fun conversation starters to have around the house. Some of the animals I would love to try to make are the seahorse, owl, turtle, unicorn or triceratops! The skill level is noted by *simple, **intermediate and ***complex. There are symbols that show you how to fold each step and step by step instructions to help you make these awesome animals.

I received a free e-copy of this book from netgalley in order to write this review. I was not otherwise compensated.

I received this e-book ARC through Net Galley from Dover Publications in exchange for a truthful review.

The models are presented with step-by-step instructions (typical origami folding instruction symbols are explained) and in order of difficulty, from simple to intermediate to complex.

I don't think a true beginner would be able to easily follow the patterns, even the simplest ones. But with some careful studying of the origami folding legend, the instructions become easier to decipher.

There are some really interesting animal (and dinosaur!) patterns to make out of dollar bills (or dollar bill sized paper).
Only weirdness was that, in a book of ANIMALS in origami, the first model is for a sailboat:-)

Another Dover Publications winner. Adult and child origami enthusiasts will enjoy the multitude of projects in this book. Lots of fun for rainy days, parties, and classroom enjoyment. Focusing on animal origami (domestic, wild, prehistoric, reptilian, amphibian, farm, and marine) the book also includes a sailboat. Five stars for clear, detailed drawings and instructions. The projects can also be made from dollar-bill-sized (or proportionally-sized) paper so patterns and color possibilities are endless.
