This book was originally published over 50 years ago. The writing is very dry and the sentences run on and on. Despite the style of writing there is some interesting information about the Prohibition Era and America's History with Alcohol. There is even some dry sarcastic wit. The author has done a lot of research. Anyone with an interest in American will enjoy reading this book.
