This book was very enjoyable! I feel like it’s a perfect read for a summer day. It started out funny and light, but later it got serious and more interesting and I really liked that! :)

2.5 stars.
I think the writer of this book is only young and it shows in her writing.
There was potential here, but the quality of writing was lacking, there were inconsistencies that made no sense and it was overall way too G-rated to be real teenagers (any that l know anyway).
You might like if you are 12 or are a good little church-going-girl.
For the rest of you, skip this one and grab When it's Real or One Small Thing (both by Erin Watt), or Trust by Kylie Scott.

"A Bad Boy Stole My Bra' is a total wow for so many reasons! I love this book because of its honesty. It shows that not everything is always perfect, that we feel down sometimes, that we experience normal human feelings of doubt, lack of trust, love, loss, responsibility and guilt. These are all very true to life, and here among all this there's lots of sense of humour in exchanges between characters, who are pretty adorable (Riley and Alec are great - they remind me a lot of I and my best friend from secondary school years). There's lots of tension between the characters which makes reading even more interesting. I loved every bit of it, even the heartbreaking one! I do recommend it to all the readers who appreciate good sense of humour and real to life plot. Lots of swooning moments as well as dreamy book boyfriends to look forward to!

A dreamy love story that focuses on trust, relationships and touches on family lives. A perfect read for young adults. I found the love story between Riley and Alec very relatable, in this lovely ‘boy next door’ edition.

It turns out that this started off life as a work of fiction on Wattpad, while I do have a Wattpad account, it's not something I really use often so I can't say I have ever heard about this until I saw a few authors mentioning this novel on Instagram, straight away I was intrigued so I knew it would be something I would look out for in Waterstones.

I have to say I am very impressed with this, it was cute, funny, Alec is a little bit sexy and has so much charisma (although those cheesy chat up lines are always going to be embarrassing) I almost wish he was real- and closer to my age.

Riley and Alec have chemistry from the get go and you are rooting for them almost straight away, the transition from neighbours to a relationship is a nice slow burn with a lot of flirting and tension between the two.

I did go into this expecting a short funny novel but what I got was something more, of course there are funny moments, but there are also a few plot twists throughout and a deeper meaning as the story progresses.

At first I found myself somewhat irked that Riley kept mentioning this bad thing she had done but she didn't go into detail (I wanted to know what it was) but eventually it builds up and we do find out what it was, and I can understand why she was feeling the way she did.

I'm not sure if I could imagine a sequel to this as I feel like everything was wrapped up at the end, for the most part people got a happy ending... and well the bra... you'll have to read it to find out if Riley got it back.

"A Bad Boy Stole My Bra" is due for release on July 12th 2018

Alec and Riley are new next door neighbours that meet when Alec steals Riley's Disney bra as a date one night. Vowing to get it back Riley issues him and tries to get it back but instead gets a friendship and flirtation instead as we learn of Alec's cocky nature in this super sweet contemporary which will having you bawling with laughter, especially at Alec's one liners which are stunners!

There's also Kaitlin, Tony and Tiana whom all have bad linked memories for Riley and as she comes to terms with that, or not in some cases as her panic attacks come on stronger, we see how much Alec cares about Riley as he takes care of her as they strike and finally reveals to him just what happened surrounding the night to do with Kaitlin her cousin.

From a new young Midlands author this is one amazing debut that you will adore of you like contemporary and Young Adult fiction books. Alec is a typical cheeky guy and Riley an outraged girl at his actions and fights back feisty. The pair made the perfect cocktail for a loving, funny, eventful couple for the book to base around the drama was truly heart wrenching and truthful as grief can strike for times after a tragic death.

This is the cutest contemporary YA novel I have read this year!

Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!

As soon as I read the blurb of this book, I couldn’t wait to read it. It sounded right up my street and it beat all of my expectations! It’s definitely one of my favourite reads so far this year.

This book is hilarious, charming and a slightly heartbreaking at certain points. I loved how it didn’t take long to get straight into the plot and the first few chapters honestly had me laughing out loud.

A Bad Boy Stole My Bra follows Riley who finds herself with new next door neighbours and she wakes to find her new neighbour, Alec Wilde, hanging out her bedroom window after stealing her bra! Sparks fly betweeen the two and I loved their journey from cover to cover. I loved the friendship group in the book two and how it evolves and how they overcome problems while being accepting of Riley’s past.

I didn’t find the book to be predicatable in the slightest and I really fell in love with the main characters! I can’t wait to read more titles from this author soon.

I was provided with an ARC via Netgalley to review.

This book was witty, charming, and having just the right amount of fun. For me this is a light book to pick up on a fun beach day or something to read on a boring day.

I adore coming-of-age young adult stories, and this one did not disappoint.

When Alec moves in next door to Riley, she’s instantly attracted. But their official meeting is nothing like the typical boy/girl-next-door romance. Riley wakes to find Alec in her room, and as the title suggests - stealing her bra! Definitely a new concept for me.

The remainder of the book was reminiscent of its many predecessors in this genre, but that doesn’t mean that this book, with its tried and true formula, wasn’t enjoyable, quite the opposite in fact, as I absolutely devoured it.

I loved the supporting cast, the little quotable life lessons, and the positively adorable PC swearing.

I found this book to be witty, charming, and having just the right amount of gush. Perfect for a lazy day in, or recapturing the awkwardness of youth.

Thank you to Lauren Price, Black and White Publishing, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
