I thought that this was a great wrap up to the series! The author did an amazing job as usual at keeping me entertained and interested from page 1. The pacing was perfect, and I the mix between action and dialogue was done just right. The battle between science and magic was gripping and unique - this series as a whole was something different than anything I've ever read, so I applaud the author's originality! Nessa is a character I have always loved and she didn't disappoint in this one! Overall I really liked this book and series, and can't wait to see the physical copy some day, as the cover is beautiful!!

I need to get over my linguistic issues with the title (were comes from the anglo-saxon for 'man' or male so basically she's a 'man-girl'....) because this is a really good series. Nessa has come a long way since the first book and her character arc is brought to a good close here. Delphine is another great character. There's a distinct Island of Dr Moreau vibe to this story which I enjoyed. Add to that fast pace and good amounts of action and I was hooked. I'm sorry to be saying goodbye to the series.
