I really enjoyed this book. The main character, Lauren, lives quite the privileged life. She doesn't realize how good she has it until a fraud scandal involving her father is exposed and her life changes drastically. Lauren struggles greatly with keeping up appearances and being as proud as ever, but her avoidance can not last forever. Lauren does slowly find her real self through others, strangers, whom she did not know before and never would have. She begins to heal and her faith is gradually restored...a beautiful story.

This book shows that you just don't know who you come into contact with each day and the impact they could have on your life. I really enjoyed this one!
