I loved this fictionalized historical book. It was riveting, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Great book.

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no
bearing on the rating I gave it.

I really like to read books based on historical figures. This is the story of Dwight D. Eisenhower and Kay Summersby. In 1942, General Eisenhower is sent on a fact finding mission to war torn London. Kay becomes his driver as well as his friend. Even though he was married to Mamie at the time, he becomes very close to Kay. There are even rumors that they were having an affair, though they have never been proven. This book is a "what if" book-what if Ike and Kay did fall in love and have an affair? The author does a thorough job of exploring this question as well as letting the reader know about General Eisenhower's part in World War II. A must read for all history lovers! Highly recommend!
