There are many triggers through out the story; be forewarned.

Faith survived the black market for underage sex slaves and became a survivor turned serial killer. Faith lives a double life. She's married to a wealthy, honest, and hard-working man that loves her while she hunts rapists and gleefully tortures and rapes them before murdering and dismembering them. While staking out her next victim, she finds her match. He not only is dark and twisted like her, but he also accepts who they both are while playing her game and proving just how much he loves her.

The Darkness in Faith is a dark romance. Ms. Rabbiosi delves in to the twisted mind of a former sex slave, and she shows us not only what had happened, but also how she managed to survive and thrive from her past. The plot drew me in and held me captive. This story does dwell in rape, sodomy, murder, and torture. I found Faith to be a strong-willed woman who not only survived her ordeal, but she also only goes after men who get their kicks in raping and/or killing innocents. This book had some twists that left me reeling, and it does end in a cliffhanger. I went and bought the boxset because I have to find out in one sitting what happens. Thank you Ms. Rabbiosi and Netgalley for allowing me to read your book. I look forward to finding out what happens next.

Step into the absolutely darkness of this book and go on a ride that will leave you gasping and deeply troubled. This book was unlike anything that I have ever read and as someone that reads hundreds of books a year that is saying a lot. This story will keep you twisted in knots and wandering just what the hell have you just read from the beginning of this book. Be prepared to be disturbed and surprised until the end. Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read this book and write about it.

The Darkness in Faith is a chilling tale of a tortured soul who lusts for blood and vengeance. This story will have you on the edge of your seat as you and you’ll never expect what’ll happen next as you take a walk in Faith’s shoes.

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a new thrilling book. I took a chance on reading this book and was not disappointed.

Omg. Wow. This was something different. Something I've not read before. I think this is honestly the darkest book I’ve ever read and loved.
I was drawn in by the blurb and cover, and this book definitely did not let me down. I was blown away by the excellent blend of sexy and thriller.

This book is most definitely not for everyone. It is sick and twisted, but compelling and I couldn’t help reading every page.

The darkness in faith by CF Rabbiosi.
How can I admit that I'm falling for the one thing I fear the most?
My name is Faith: Tortured sex slave turned brutal serial killer. Men have abused my body for inhuman pleasures, hurt me and made me feel helpless. But now... They fear me.
I wish I could say that it's purely for the good of the world that I kill them slowly and give them a taste of what they have made others feel, but that would be a lie. Turns out, I have a lust for blood and get off on making THEM my slave. They may be way past being offended at that point, but I sure enjoy my living dead boys.
Just one small problem. I am falling for my newest conquest and don't know if I can kill him. He supposedly sexually assaulted a woman horribly ten years ago and is currently on parole for the crime, but something about those genuine sea green eyes and that beguiling mouth makes me weak. I'll still tie him up but what happens next- will make us both scream.
Something about his darkness and pain calls to my own, and though he knows I could kill him at any time, he still fights to possess me in every dripping, consuming and tantalizing way.
Come inside if you dare where real sex slave stories are my inspiration and I'll tell you the story of a serial murderess and the life altering events that made her a Lover of the Dead.
This was an absolutely fantastic read. I loved faith. She was evil but after reading it I kind of understood why she was like she was. I couldn't help but feel for her. I also loved the pictures that was in the book too. I am looking forward to the next book. 5*. Highly recommended.

Dark read but I don't really enjoy much. The story is a little confusing in my opinion. Do not recommend for anyone, since it is too messy with the plot.

This book took me a little bit of time to get into.

After I was able to get into it, it was a fast paced twisted book that is definitely not for the faint of heart

It was the first book I have read where the prey became the hunter and it was very interesting

Looking forward to more from this author.

this was the story of faith an abused sex slave turned serial killer and it was an intense demented sick story full of pain horror and every sick fantasy one can imagine. I Almost hate to admit how much I Loved this book but I REALLY did and can't wait to read the next two and everything else that C.F. Rabbiosi has to offer!

A female serial killer hunts bad guys, but in a completely different way than Alexandra Sokoloff’s character does. For one thing she’s married, living a double life, finding her victims on the internet and then luring them in with the promise, and sometimes reality, of sex.
When I saw this title, I thought it was going to be about faith, but that’s the character’s name.
Found it clever to introduce a male character that seems destined to be the story’s antagonist, except she polishes him off quickly and moves on to the next one. But instead of killing her latest target, she falls in love with him, apparently because he just as twisted as her. She goes as far as to tell him what made her this way, which is how we know who’s who when she gets kidnapped.
The first thing you see on cracking open this book–metaphorically if you’re Kindling it, of course–is a music playlist, which to my surprise included two bands I know, Evanescence and Halestorm. To make this truly multimedia, there’s some photos scattered throughout, which didn’t do much for me. They came across as completely generic and really didn’t describe what I was reading about, too lovey-dovey compared to the much more dramatic action. And indeed, they’re stock.
I’ve no doubt the author wants me to be on her heroine’s side, but the fact is she’s just as sick and twisted as the guys she hunts. She’s not motivated by revenge or justice; she LIKES torturing and killing. The image of her sucking a cock after she’d just cut it off. . .
Maybe she’s doing it as a twisted sort of revenge, since she was tortured when she was younger. Maybe it’s a form of PTSD, and this is the only way she can cope with it: doing to them what they did to her. Still, that might be an explanation, but it’s not an excuse.
There’s no way to be psychologically prepared for this, because the author keeps going one step further. This was too much for me, so I can’t say I enjoyed it, but the insights were sometimes fascinating.

The premise of the story was not that different to another book i had read, which I had really enjoyed. Based on the reviews I thought I would give this book a go but I was thoroughly disappointed.

The standard of writing was just too Janet and John for me and the plot had whopping holes in it. If you don't mind a bit of nonsensical reading it might then be ok, but it was too unbelievable for my taste. The main character was likeable and had potential, had there been a better written storyline that closely held together. It had the potential to be a lot better.

The erotic writing felt anything but, it was very repetitive, and the writing lacked flair. I was relieved it was a short read. Unfortunately I want be reading any more in the series.

There is always something about these stories that peek my interest. When the tables are turned and the prey becomes the hunter: these are the stories I live for. I love strong women who take back control of their lives and make anyone whom has ever wronged them pay.
I'm not going to lie, I also like it when men are dominant in the bed area, and The Darkness in Faith delivers all of this.
This story is not for the faint of heart. It is dark. I'm seriously going to continue to read the rest in this series.

3.5 - 4 stars

As promised this book delivers on being a dark erotic story. If rape is even the slightest of triggers for you, I advise approaching with caution. I've read many books with dub/non-con and this one still pushed my buttons. This is not dubious consent, this is out-and-out rape, with some very depraved scene, in your face dark.

I really enjoyed when Faith took control of her life, sick as her actions were, and was hopeful when she met the handsome stranger. However, I struggled to understand how she enjoyed being taken by force after what she'd endured as a teen.

While I appreciate I didn't have to pay for this books, it could do with another lick of polish, or two.

Not the typical book I normally read. It is very dark but over all I did enjoy reading. Will try other books by this author in the future.
