The Earl's Perfect Match follows on from the previous book with Bennett Markham, Earl of Dunning, not marrying his cousin. Consequently, he finds himself in the awkward position of asking Elena Sebastiano to find him a wife, who will have his heir but not fall in love with him. Not a difficult task?
Believing himself to be cursed, he has avoided romance but finds himself attracted to Elena, the sister of the man who has married his ex-fiancé. Elena is not like the typical English rose, with her exotic features and olive skin. She soon finds herself captivated by Bennett despite his unusual request.
The story was so entertaining, and it was so easy to like both characters. This was an easy read, but I was a bit disappointed that there were a few aspects left unfinished. I suppose I will just have to wait for the next book in the series.
I received an advanced review copy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

" The Earl's Perfect Match " by Kimberly Nee is a nice Historical Regency Romance ... a well written book ...plot is simple & well developed ... The characters are well in synch with the story...The story is about a American origin Heroine & an Earl in Regency England ...

Bennett Markham, Earl of Dunning is ditched by his cousin cum fiancee on the dit of there wedding as she is in love with her childhood friend ...he needs an heir, which means he needs to find a wife first, who should not be a fortune-hunter and absolutely cannot love him ever.He believes in the curse placed on the Markham clan long ago hence love is not for Markham men.

Elena who is from St. Phillippe ,she is here to attend the wedding of her brother to the girl who was the Earl's fiancee...Elena is an exotic beauty & Lord Dunning asks Elena to help find him a wife and a little surprised when the Earl asks her to play matchmaker for him as they barely know each other, & in a dilemna how to choose the perfect bride ...Also such a challenge interests her...

The story starts from here as they become attracted to each other and can’t seem to stay away from each other. There are many twists & turns in this new attraction and Bennett is determined to not love Elena...but eventually can't resist the attraction... The part which i didnt like is the reason behind the curse was very silly & Bennett believing in it ...also one incident didnt take his life & they leave happily after was too sudden an end ...there are many unanswered questions so was left unsatisfied ...

overall the book was a good read ....

Elena arrives in England to attend her brother’s wedding and meets Bennett who is looking for a bride in order to secure an heir. Bennett believes there is a curse on the men in his family in that they die at a very young age. He requests Elena help him find a wife, who will not love him, because when he dies he does not want to leave a grieving widow. The problem starts when they become attracted to each other and can’t seem to stay away from each other. There are several ups and downs in this new attraction and Bennett is determined to not love Elena but his plans don’t always work out. To me, the ending in this book appears to be very abrupt, as if in a series, because there appears to be some loose ends that could result in another book. The book is a good read and I would recommend it but the ending leaves you wondering.

The Earl's Perfect Match by Kimberly Nee is a fantastic historical romance. Ms. Nee has provided us with an amazing, well-written book and loaded it with outstanding, lovable characters. Bennett believes his family is cursed and that he will die in his early thirties. Elena is at the Earl's estate for her friend's wedding. Bennett and Elena's story is full of drama, action, sizzle and humor. I enjoyed reading The Earl's Perfect Match and look forward to reading more from Kimberly Nee in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bennett Markham, Earl of Dunning, is helping to plan a wedding, his ex-fiancee's to another man.
He asks Elena, the sister of the new groom to help find a new bride, at the beginning of the house party to celebrate his planned nuptials.
As she evaluates the ladies present as to their suitability, she finds some fault with all, wishing against the odds, she could be the one.
Mean tricks and an assault upon Elena wake Bennett to his feelings and the pair do get a happy-ever-after....eventually.
Ms. Nee is new to me and I found the tale enjoyable.
I requested a NetGalley ARC and offer my opinion freely.

I enjoyed the romance between Elena and Bennett. I thought the characters had great chemistry. I also liked the side characters in the story and am hoping the next story will be about Conn and Claudia. There were some parts where I wanted to struggle Ben due to his idiocy and stubbornness, but overall, I liked both of the M.C.s. This was a quick read and is one I'd recommend!

Bennett, the Earl of Dunning gets thrown over by his intended fiancee. He didn't love her but he does need an heir. Elena who is from St. Phillippe, is an exotic beauty there for her friend's wedding as the bride is a relative. Lord Dunning asks Elena to help find him a wife with the understanding that the woman cannot love him or want him for his money and title. Elena is looking for a wife for him but discovers that she doesn't want him to find someone else.. Loved this book. Will Lord Dunning find he can love Elena back or will she go back to her country without him? The author writes with heart and love.I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review and no compensation otherwise.
