Everything about the Westerly family has been a wonderful adventure!

As Delinda tries to change the way she treats her family, she still continues to meddle in their lives hoping to help them find their way to happiness. Although she still makes mistakes, you can tell she is really trying to soften her attitude and communication skills in order to reach them.

This time the story revolves around Eric. He continues to doubt himself and his skills. With no purpose in life or direction, he has decided to hide in plain sight by wearing a disguise and seeking loneliness. After his stay at the rehab center, there are steps he must take to analyze his life and perhaps rebuild his hope for a better future.

Sage is absolutely obsessed by this stranger who comes to her favorite coffee shop every day at the same time. She is not really stalking him, but let's face it, it is close. Every day she makes sure to be at the coffee shop just so she can look at him from afar. This is fine until the day she finally decides to extend a hand in friendship. You see, she has this gift. She is a plant psychologist... which is her way to introduce herself into the lives of people who call to her with attitudes of despair. Yes, she "reads" their emotions and if she is drawn to them, she knows she is needed and offers to help. It is unbelievable but this works all the time. After she works with them, these people are actually happier and unburdened of the sad emotions.

Now, if she could only help this man!

A delightful story with that signature slow burn that Ruth Cardello brings to her books. Definitely one book you should not miss!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the publisher for sharing this book with me.

Redemption isn’t an act of god in this book, but a work in progress. This is a story about characters that feel “real” in their problems and perspectives and how they react to them. The heroine wants to believe in people and help others find the happiness and connection, she herself has missed her whole life. The hero is “poor little rich boy” who suffers from the woe is me mentality of so many of today’s real people. The hero stumbles... a lot.... he is an a$$ and moody... he immediately retreats rather than facing problems, but is a work in progress. This story shows a beautifully fractured person who is afraid to trust... and I am not just talking about the hero. I would def recommend reading this.

3.5 stars

Sage is a plant psychologist who helps unhappy people find plants to improve their moods.
Eric is a poor little rich boy, who has everything but is still unhappy.
I am a huge fan of Ruth Cardello books and that’s why requested Hollywood Heir on Netgalley. But somehow I couldn’t connect with the characters especially Eric. Though he is a movie star, he didn’t make me a fan. Sage I liked, she is sweet, quirky and fun. I also liked the secondary characters especially Reggie, he and his antics had me laughing. It is a well written book but not at par with the authors previous books I’ve read.

I like this book. It is light, romantic, sweet and a little odd but everything fit. This is my first book in the series, but I'll be going back to the start as soon as possible.

Sage is unquestionably an odd duck, but a lovely one. And Eric is the lost duck who meets her in her unconventional way. The story moved a bit fast, and the love is not quite insta-love but almost there. Of course family has a way of muddling things up, especially Eric's family. But I wouldn't blame Delinda entirely for what happened. A big part of it yes on her, but not all her.

These Westerlys. What an interesting bunch of characters! I love Reggie. I want to have a Reggie. And a Bella too. But Reggie more. They're the best friends anyone could ever have! And I want my own bat cave too!

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for the copy of the book!

I've read the first book in this series, and have the 3/4 ones in my stack to be read- I think that this book would have been made even better by reading the other 2 before. While it technically can be a stand alone, I think we get a better background and build up to the character by having hints of him in the other books. That being said, I really liked it. This author's writing is quick and easy to read, and very similar to authors like Melody Anne.

This book offers a mix of emotions, without getting too heavy or the opposite too cheesy. Enjoyed it and recommend to our customers!

This was my favorite of the seires. Lots of second chances and understanding real love verses romantic infatuation. I enjoyed the journey that Eric and Sage took to learn about thier purpose and meaning for their lives. Ruth shows some inspiring world views and self-reflection.

Sweet sexy romance following superhero Hollywood actor Eric Westerly as he shies away from the spotlight, and with the help of a simple disguise becomes Wayne Westerly, a normal run of the mill American living in London. Wayne attracts the attention of plant psychologist/wannabe counsellor, Sage Revere, whose goal in life is to help people. Unaware of Wayne/Eric’s celebrity status, Sage enters into a relationship with Wayne, of course everything backfires and Eric is left wondering where he went wrong. Westerly family antics at their best, can Sage accept him and the Westerly clan, heck, can Eric accept them. Funny (especially Reggie, he was a hoot), enjoyable and sexy romance written in dual POV. This is the fourth book in the series but it can easily be read as a standalone. On a personal note this was not my favourite in the series, I struggled with my feelings for Eric and Delinda. Sage and Bella however were adorable and I loved their friendship. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Hot, Steamy, and Seductive!

Hollywood Heir is a great addition to the series, there were times when I was frustrated and then others where I was so in love with everything about it. Ruth did very well in writing characters who are meant to be together and who can't keep there hands off each other. A must read in the series!

I enjoyed the other books in this series, but I have to say I didn't enjoy this one quite as much... I think it was because the characters didn't grab me... a plant psychologist and an actor who feels entirely too sorry for himself!

It was well written and a necessary addition to the series about the Westerly siblings but it definitely left me undecided about reading the next in the series

This was a really cute romance story between Eric/Wayne and Sage. I didn't know going into it that it was the fourth, I believe, in the series. Even so, I was able to follow the characters and the supporting characters just fine. I do wish there was a little more romance between them and less of his family drama but I do see how it shaped his character. It was a sweet story about two people who both have a lot of baggage but in the end are able to get past it for each other.
One of my favorite quotes was from chapter eight, when Eric/Wayne tells her that "I would never clip your wings, Sage. I'd rather fly with you." That tugged on the heart strings for sure. I would be interested to read more by the author and I liked her writing style.

Hollywood Heir is the fourth book in the Westerly Billionaires series, having not read any of the previous books I had no background knowledge of this family.
Eric is a top Hollywood actor, out of rehab after abusing pain killers, arrogant and miserable he has stopped working and wears a disguise when out in public. He is spotted by Sage in a coffee shop, she sees her role in life to bring happiness to people when she notices their sadness, under the guise as a plant psychologist (??!!) she tries to improve their lives.
So starts their relationship, unfortunately, I just couldn't connect with either character, particularly Eric, and the secondary ones weren't much better, both families particularly Sage's parents were awful.
As a romance it's a little lacking and predictable, although well written with a happy ending I didn't enjoy it as much as I anticipated I would.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for opportunity to review this book.

I was excited for the fourth book in the Westerly Billionaire series and it did not disappoint. To completely understand Eric and his struggles I feel it is very important to have read the other books in this series. Those books are crucial in outlining the Westerly family dynamics and the matriarch's dominance otherwise you would see Eric as a spoiled, unhappy rich guy. He is not. Eric is the product of a mother and father who literally split their children up for their own selfish purposes. Eric ends up with the rich side of the family and no connection to his brothers and sisters. He is raised to be arrogant but then again his brothers and sisters had their own issues that had nothing t do with growing up growing up with money.

These siblings have been either led or influenced by Delinda Westerly- the high society evil witch. The good thing about this series- it's not only about finding love and joy, it is about self-discovery and learning your shortfalls as a person. How as a person you have been treated due to your family dynamics and how that has shaped you both positively and most definitely negatively. Ruth Cardello does an amazing job at making these Westerlys be loved and hated by use while leading us on their path of self-awareness, growth and recovery. I loved Eric's character as it is obvious the love he had for Rachelle in the last book of this series. Eric isn't simply a spoiled brat who is pouting he is a man searching for a place to belong, to be accepted for himself- whomever that might be, and not a pawn in a family game of chess or by those wanting only to feed off of his money and success.

Sage is immediately lovable as the one who left all the wealth as she saw it as poison in a shallow world. She falls for the dazzling Wayne Easton (Eric's alter ego) yet she is starting to question is authenticity after several incidents. How can she be mad at Eric/Wayne for his duplicity when she has secrets of her own that shed her in a bad light if taken at only a glance.

Delinda is one that pulls this story together as both a master manipulator to a matriarch realizes her family is crumbling away to nothing and needs to take action.

I loved this one and can't wait for Nicolette's story.

Ruth Cardello is a fabulous writer...though i have not read any of the books in the " Westerly Billionaire " series , i have read other titles by Ruth ...This is the fourth book in this series & can be read as a standalone...

The hero, Eric Westerly, a Hollywood heart throb is hiding out from his celebrity status in his hometown of London. . He is at a crisis in his life, doesn’t know who he is anymore with tons of unnecessary baggage..... The heroine , Sage Revere is a plant psychologist ( an unconventional career ) but in actuality she helps people by solving there issues in life, make them happy... She sees Eric who is in disguise in a coffee shop and decides that she needs to fix whatever is wrong with him.

Eric is attracted by Sages unusual personality. They make a great combination & end helping each other through there insecurities , circumstances & unhappiness... They fallin love... Boththe characters have been well presented by Ruth ( Sage & Eric compliment each other ...

The message & meaning behind the story is so true ... inner happiness & peace are all u need to lead a good life ... Awaiting to read other books in this series i have missed ... Do read it...

This was a wonderful story. It features Eric Westerly who previously had been in rehab for a pain killer issue and is the movie star. Now he has run away from home (LOL). And that is how he meets Sage. Sage sees Eric's pain and wants to help but will he let her in?

Eric is masquerading as an average Joe and so when Sage finds out well she does not take it well. I loved how tough she is on Eric and really makes him work for it. We see alot of Delinda, the evil grandmother and the rest of the Westerly's.

This was a fun story and it really was terrific. It is extremely romantic and I sighed at the end of the story because it was really that terrific. It stands alone but you might be lost if you have not read the previous book as that starts Eric's story.

<b>A romantic comedy that broke my heart and made me cry! </b>

Another day in paradise, ladies. First of all, it's the second arc i read this week, part of a series I haven't read yet and I wish I did. I need to read the first three books asap.

Let me tell you how this managed to make me cry.
It's the story of <i>"two lost souls who found acceptance and comfort in each other".</i> She's a plant psychologist (<i>what an amazing job to have! - kudos to the author for this "novelty")</i> and he's a big Hollywood star, trying to get his life on track. He meets her, while wearing the disguise he created to be able to go out in public. She gets his pain from the moment she sets her eyes on him, so of course she sets her mind to "help him", since her purpose in life is to be happy and make the others around you find their happiness. She helps them achieve that.

Sage is one of the most beautiful fictional persons I had the pleasure to meet. Her soul is beautiful, the way she lives her life, the way she sees the good in people, the way she gives second and third chances so easily, how she stands up for herself when necessary, but still in a gentle way, not hurting the others feelings and I could go on forever.
He's broken. That's it. The only way to describe him. He completed a rehab, isolated himself from his big dysfunctional family, but stumble upon the love of his life, who took him out of his shell and they found their HEA together.

I cried because of their pain when dealing with their families. I cried because Sage is amazing, despite having such horrible parents. I cried because Eric hurt her, but she was still standing strong and finally, I cried when I got the advice how to manage the hurtful things people say to you.

In case you missed my point, this is a book you don't want to miss. It's <B>not</b> your typical rom com, full of clichés and vain characters. It's simply a beautiful life lesson.
Ruth Cardello, thank you! I promise to read your other books as well.

I really wanted to like this book as I've read the previous book and liked it, but this read wasn't for me. Sage was too Pollyanna for me and although I liked her job, I wondered about her career choice. How is what she does profitable? What's her long-term plan? She seems to be out and about a lot. When does she work? Now why did I think of all these things while reading the story-- the story bored me. It didn't hold my attention and I found myself questioning how elements of the story were possible since they seemed unrealistic. Sage aside, I was not fond of Eric. He ran too hot and cold for me and needed to get his life together before getting in a relationship. I honestly have no idea how Sage fell in love with him as he seemed to constantly leave her high and dry after minimal interaction. I did think the book was well-written, but it just missed the mark for me,

I came across a Ruth Cardello book a year or so ago and since then have read everything she's written. Hollywood Heir (Westerly Billionaire Book 4) is the latest in the Westerly Billionaire series and follows Eric Westerly. On-screen he's the hottest superhero, off screen he's fresh out of rehab and living incognito in London. Enter plant psychologist/do-gooder Sage Revere who becomes bound and determined to fix and obviously tortured soul. While overall I'd give this 3.5 stars I struggled a bit getting thru this book. It just didn't seem as compelling as the others in the series.

This story covers the love between two people who are confused about their true identities. While the plot is not totally realistic, it does shine some truth on the difficulty of family relationship and finding lover. Overall, a very good story and time well spent reading it.

Hollywood Heir is the fourth book in the Westerly Billionaire series. I have not read the other books that came before this one. The hero, Eric Westerly, is a Hollywood heart throb with a crap ton of baggage hiding incognito in his hometown of London. Sage Revere, the heroine, is a plant psychologist (yes, you read that right). She sees the brooding hero in a coffee shop and decides that she needs to fix whatever is wrong with him. And so starts an agonizing game of push and pull (they want each other, they don’t want each other, they want each other).

I struggled getting through this book. I think the author is good writer but the story just did not reel me in. I didn’t particularly like either the hero or the heroine and they didn’t seem to have much chemistry. I found that I didn’t really care much one way or the other about what happened to them.

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre:, Romance, General fiction (adult)

I didn't notice til about to write my review that the blurb classes this as comedy – and I can't recall finding any of it comedic, unless you count things like Sage being a plant psychobiologist and Eric being a huge film star but slap on a fake scar and he can go unknown....

sadly this book was a fail for me. I did finish it but it was a hard slog. That's not the book's fault, its just not to my taste. I found the plots sounded good but in practice were thin, and the characters were frankly dislikeable. Sage is a bit of a doormat, Eric is a bit self obsessed, distrusts everyone and came over as pretty cold and big headed. As for Delinda, his grandmother, she's a rich, manipulative awful woman. I know she appears to have the best interests of the family at heart, but its what She feels is best, not necessarily what actually IS best.
I got so annoyed at Sage, got away from shallow parents and creates her own way, and yet lets Eric walk all over her. This idea too that she's walked away from serious money, has an ad hoc income where she can barely meet rent and yet lives as if she's got money was strange. If you're short on rent, short on cash its something that you're aware off constantly, everything you do has an eye to can you afford it, and yet Sage came over as never really considering her cash situation, a rich girl playing at poverty.
Eric and the disguise, wouldn't work. Then he tells her the names of his four siblings, and given they are worldwide famous that should have been a giveaway.
I loved Reggie though, he was the comedy element I guess, but for me he was the star of the book! The bat-cave, I want one!

Stars:Two, sadly a slog to finish, maybe if I'd liked the characters it would have been different. As always that's just my view, I can see others love it, and you may too.
