I do wish that I had read the first three novels in the series especially since moments were mentioned that previously happened in other novels. I was a bit lost on what happened to Rachelle. I wish that the author would have stated at the beginning of this novel --and advisement of reading the previous novels. Even though I had moments of confusion, I loved the characters.
Sage Revere is a bit of an oddball--she's a plant psychologist. She has a Master's degree in human interaction with plants. She finds clients who are sad and matches them with the right plants to enrich their lives. Sage finds her clients when they are at a low point in their lives.
Eric Westerly is a Hollywood star and part of the Westerly family dynasty. The Westerly family are America's wealthy royal family with ties to the Vandorra royal family in England. Ericis fresh from rehab and burned out on the Hollywood lifestyle which is one of the many reasons why he moved his homebase to London. One of his escapes is disguising himself as a regular person with a scar--Wayne Easton. Sage entrances him. At first, he just wanted her to scratch an itch, although what he gets instead is much better. Will Sage cure Eric of the saddness she sees in his eyes? Can she forgive his lies? Can Eric accept the changes in his life with or without Sage?

I LOVE this series and I absolutely love Sage and Eric even more. He's trying to figure out who he is, while she's just trying to get by on her own. Perfect for each other is an understatement. Loved seeing everyone else, too. Sad because there's only one more sibling, but I can't wait for her book!

I loved seeing the vulnerable side of Delinda in this book, she is always so harsh edged that it was nice to see she can be vulnerable in a situation, made her more realistic for me.
We got to see the inner demons of Eric’s during the last book and I’m glad he had his backstory during Rachelle’s book because it left Eric’s book to be solely about him finding himself again. Sage had he moments for me where I just wanted to smack her and tell her to wake the hell up, but Eric had the same moments with me.

Overall this was a great book, and I’m looking forward to Nicolette’s book and to see what trouble Delinda is going to stir up.

The premise of this book sounded so intriguing - hot superhero meets someone while going incognito in London and sparks fly. Well, there weren't many sparks flying in this book. The beginning of the book was interesting, but I didn't feel the heat or connection between the two. There were so many secondary characters that I skimmed a majority of the book just so I could find where Sage and Wayne (or should I say Eric) interacted with each other. The one love scene in the book felt wrong and weird because of the circumstances leading up to it; at this point shouldn't Eric have known just who Sage was and what made her her? Although Eric talked about how being rich wasn't what everyone thought it to be (especially with his dysfunctional family), he ended up trying to woo Sage through those same tactics?? I was seriously confused throughout parts of this book and it felt forced how I had to know how evil Sage's parents were and how Eric didn't even know the name of his niece. Not a book I would recommend. **ARC provided by NetGalley. All opinions are my own**

I just loved Sage! She’s quirky, genuine and is learning to stand up for herself. Eric is struggling with who he really is. It’s a quick but highly enjoyable read! I received an advance review copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Sage Revere has an unconventional career choice. Eric Westerly is hiding out from his celebrity status. He is at a crisis in his life, doesn’t know who he is anymore or what he wants to do. Sage meets Eric when he is in disguise and senses he is not happy. Eric is attracted to Sages quirky personality. They make a great combination if they can get past the lies.

This book is part of a series but could be read as a stand alone. This is a great funny romance read. There are some great characters in this book! Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy of this book. I would give this book 4 1/2 stars.

Entertaining and fun read, although underlying this are some emotional issues.

I had not read the other books in this series, but I think it was fine to read this book stand alone.

Ruth Cardello is one of my go to authors. I can always count on her to provide me with some good solid romance! A little comedy thrown in is just a bonus! Enjoyed it.

I love the Westerly family series. Getting to see all of the sides to Eric's life was wonderful. I don't think that there is anyone else that could have been a better match for him than Sage.

I have to say that I didn't love this book, which was sad since I tend to like this dysfunctional family, yes some of them annoy me but I still enjoy their stories. However, this one did not do it for me at all. I found Eric to be selfish, and I know we were supposed to feel sorry for him because he was supposedly this sad broken person, but I really didn't feel that he just thought of himself and I didn't like him at all. I also found this story line to be ridiculous, now I may be just ignorant and this is truly a profession I just didn't care for it and thought it was as crazy it sounded and understood why everyone raised there eyebrow at it. Sage wasn't and unlikable person, I actually did like her and thought how she saw the good in everyone a little sweet if not naive but I did like that part. I also liked Bella and enjoyed reading of the previous characters and even though I wasn't crazy about Eric I did like the other characters which honestly saved this story.

I keep loving this books!
Ever since the first book I've wondered about Eric, the mysterious famous Westerly brother. We saw a glimpse from him in the last book and he was intriguing. I think Sage was the perfect fit for him, nothing like a super optimistic girl to cheer up a moody guy.

One of the amazing things about this book was the hero aspect of it, I LOVE superheroes and their secret identities so having Eric play Wayne was in-cre-di-ble.

The Westerly family are one of my favorites, they're crazy and complicated but when they get together they're pretty amazing.

I loved the friendship aspect of this book, the relationship Sage had with Bella was admirable and oh my God I want a Reggie in my life! He was the best, he says the most inappropriate things at the best times and I just love him and his family.

Sage's job was weirdly fun, I love how Eric just accepts it, like "yeah, she makes people happy for a living, okay".

I liked how fast I felt this book was, there were not boring moments, I laughed out loud more than once (especially because of Reggie) and I can't wait for the next book!

At least Eric can be honest, "his nostrils flared, and the air sizzled between them. “I’m not in a good place right now. I’m still figuring out a few things. effing you would just confuse me more.” Eric doesn't understand the mind of his woman, but honestly the man deserves what he gets at times, "she slapped him clean across the face then. He shook his head at the sting of it. “What was that for?” I liked this book, I liked Eric the man had some redeeming qualities in him.
