The Tower of the Arkein is a great story with believable characters. It is well-written and a page-turner from the first page!
I would recommend this great read.

Very Arabian Night's and Game of Thrones in its style and character. It's not set in a contemporary world so it's all about the men. No need to reflect current concerns or considerations so slave women are not allowed to wear clothes!

If you like these type of traditional fantasy novels that take time to establish settings, plot and characters then this is the one for you.

One for the male comic readers in my life but not the girl's unless after chapter 3 a major female character arrives.

I was given an extract of the novel free by netgalley.com for my fair and honest review.

I received an ARC of this from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me a lot of Patrick Rothfuss’ Kingkiller series. I didn’t read the first book in the series but I have to admit that I have purchased it. I was a bit lost in spots because I didn’t know the background on certain people and places. I was hoping there might be a glossary in the back explaining certain things but unfortunately there wasn’t.
It’s a great fantasy novel about love, revenge, magic, etc. I’m looking forward to reading the first book in the series and I’m super excited to read the 3rd one once it’s written. Please hurry!
