Book 7 in the Crescent Moon series. This was a really enjoyable instalment in the series. It focuses on the relationship between Erica and Hudson and I thought it was well written and thoroughly entertaining.

Wolf's mate is the 7th book in the Crescent moon series and it's a novella so be aware when you begin the book. Erica and Hudson already have an established relationship and this book is pretty much how Hudson finally realizes that he should claim Erica as his mate. The book might be short, but it was a great one and I enjoyed it very much. I have even decided to raise my original 4 star rating to a 5 one because I enjoyed reading it the second time even more and I wasn't like "I have to read the book in order to review it and it's a burden". There wasn't any angst and everything worked very organically if you ask me. The writing was great and there wasn't a lot of character development which was something I was expecting to be honest. I would recommend the book without hesitation.

Wolf's Mate is a perfect novella if you want a quick fated mates binge! Erica is roaming after feeling a bit disconnected from her home. During her travels she spends a blissful month with Hudson. Lots of sex seems to be the only thing between them though. Hudson asks her to stay, but doesn't offer her more. Erica isn't going to leave her pack just for great sex. But, then she finds out she's pregnant.

Hudson wanted Erica to stay and be his mate. He, being a male, didn't communicate well though. Everyone around him sees his folly so when he realizes he has a 2nd chance with Erica, he is thrilled! Their story is a sweet whirlwind of shifters and growly men. I loved it!

This was a super addition to the series but it can be read as a standalone if you are looking for a good little shifter read then you cannot go wrong with Erica and Hudson story it was well-written and I was pulled right into their story

This one is a quick wolf-shifter love story between Hudson and Erica. Erica meets Hudson while figuring her life and although she fell in love with him she doesn't get the same feeling from him. But unexpected happens and she is coming back to find a compromise with him. After Erica leaves Hudson has difficulty having her so far away, so he decides to bring her home and ask her to mate him. Enjoyable story with ok characters and storyline, although short it was interesting and had enough to keep me satisfied in the end.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

WOLF'S MATE might be a novella size book but it is packed with emotion, drama, steamy love scenes and really great dialogue.

There is no real dangerous situations, just some teenagers getting out of hand so the drama is completely within this couple's little world, dealing with the communication or non-communication they are suffering from. Not to say there isn't any action, because, I did get a kick out of Hudson and his alpha brother Malcolm sparring with each other, on more than one occasion, usually with big brother giving some sound advice.

WOLF'S MATE is one that will stay with you long after you finish, and have you wanting more.

I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book

I really liked this book. I loved how strong Erica was and how even though this was a novella it wasn't a sure thing for Hudson. Hudson had to own up to his feeling and work to get Erica into his life.

Overall really good book

Katie Reus always delivers a fast-paced story with sexy alphas and strong heroines and WOLF'S MATE is no exception! Erica and Hudson are great together and their chemistry is pretty steamy! The secondary characters are fun and vital to the story. I didn't want it to end! I'm looking forward to the next Katie Reus read!

I liked this story, but I didn’t known until I started it that is was a novella. I did enjoy it though. The author did a good job explaining the world, the characters were well developed and their chemistry together was amazing.

It’s a lovely story, but I felt like it was to rushed. I know it’s a novella but I wanted more back story about the characters. But overall it’s good.. you get to learn how the feelings they have for each other, and if they can have a future together or not.

I was given this book to give an honest review.

Wolf's Mate, by Katie Reus and Savannah Stuart is a paranormal romance novella, which is a part of the Crescent Moon book series.

As a wolf shifter, Erica is very close to her pack, yet she decided to travel and spend an enjoyable year away. Towards the end of her travels, Erica meets another wolf shifter for a fun no-strings attached fling, until she falls in love. Since Hudson hasn't proclaimed her as his mate, Ericia decides to protect her heart and leave. However, a surprise pregnancy changes her plans, and Hudson isn't ready to say goodbye.

Even though it's the seventh book in the Crescent Moon series, this novella is easily read as a standalone. However, most readers will adore the characters and want to read more of the book series.

Wolf's Mate is recommended and geared towards those who enjoy reading paranormal romances focused on wolf shifters.

Very good short story. Erica ad Hudson had been together about a month but she felt she needed to go back to her old pack. Hudson kept asking her to stay but did not mention mating. She didn't want to stay just for sex. After she left, she discovered she was pregnant and went back to his pack to tell him. They finally admitted how they felt and she joined his pack. I enjoyed reading this

Katie has done it again with this fabulous story and shows how strong Erica can truly be through the turmoil. I love passion angst and turmoil that kept me turning page after page. Another incredible addition to Katie’s bookshelf.

Book 7 of the series. Alpha werewolf meets his match. I love the smooth flowing writing style. It draws you in and keeps you turning pages. Pure romance story, little bit of drama in the storyline. Can't wait for the next novel.

I voluntarily read this novel and all opinions are my own.

I love Katie Reus books, so nabbing Wolf’s Mate was a no-brainer. I’m not a huge novella fan but Ms. Reus has treated me to some awesome ones full of rich characters. Since this was a paranormal about wolf shifters (one of my favorite kind of books!) I settled in for what I knew would be a good read.

The book begins with Erica leaving Hudson. She’d been on a sabbatical of sorts from her home pack, traveling around visiting other packs and his pack was her last stop. She’d hit it off with Hudson almost immediately and they started something that was just supposed to be a bit of fun. When her feelings started to ramp up but he didn’t show any interest in taking it further than the current status quo, she decided it was time to go before she ended up more heartbroken than she already was.

The main problem stems from these two not talking to each other. Which was unfortunate since lack of communication is in the running for my least favorite trope. They both had their reasons with Hudson being the main dumbass-I mean culprit, but Erica should have been honest about her feelings too. It’s good that I liked them both despite this.

I especially liked Erica and her determination to do the right thing and inform Hudson of her pregnancy no matter how much it would hurt her already wounded heart even more. When faced with difficult choices she always made the ones I hoped she would, even if the cost to her was high.

It took a bit for me to get over Hudson and his serious miscalculation when it came to his relationship with Erica. I loved that he was loyal to his pack and dedicated to his duty. No matter how boneheaded I thought he was being, in his mind he was doing what he thought was best for Erica which allowed me to not only forgive him but to end up being won over by him.

My biggest letdown was in the action department. The small amount there was felt like it was thrown in there just to say there was some. Another little annoyance was the timeline jumping. For me at least, the story would have been better told in a linear fashion instead of the jumping back and forth between past and present.

Despite my issues, I enjoyed Wolf’s Mate. It’s the characters that saved it and now I find myself wanting the know the stories of some of the other characters. Since this is the 7th book in the series, I’ve got lots of catching up to do.

A sweet sexy novella with a lot of story in a small package. Hudson and Erica's story takes place after the fact when she returns to tell him she is having twins. A story of the two of them and their interactions between each other, with some steamy hot scenes, as they come to terms of having pups as Hudson finally claims Erica for his own. I would like to thank NetGalley and KR Press for gifting me "Wolf's Mate". My opinion is my own and not based on my gift. 4 Stars!

What a wonderful read! This is a novella, so quick and easy to get into. The book description hooked my interest and proved to be accurate. A well-written novella which has all the elements of a fantastic paranormal read – a pair of super lead characters, a detailed intricate background, emotive interactions, misconceptions and tension, shape-shifters, alphas and humour.

A great page turner that would interest any lover of the paranormal or romance genres. Worth the purchase price as it is thoroughly entertaining.

Another steamy installment of the Katie Reus' Crescent Moon series. Wolf's Mate is a comedy of errors, only WAY steamy!

Erica loves her pack, but she needed to stretch her wings, so to speak, and see new and exciting places. She needed to experience some strange. She gets that in spades when she meets Hudson. Hudson wasn't looking for anything, let alone a mate when he was tasked with picking Erica up from the airport.

But the sparks fly and the chemistry is nuclear between them. The problem is, they both forgot to talk to each other. Hudson didn't want to go all caveman on Erica or rush her into exactly what he knew he wanted - a mating. Erica knows that, due to his age, Hudson wouldn't hesitate to stake his claim if he wanted more than just a "good time." Silly wolves!

See what happens when Erica discovers she's pregnant. It's a steamy, emotional ride that will make you smile!
