I found this to be a very enjoyable read. An entertaining story-line and great characters keep your interest extremely well. Watching the evolution of the relationship between these two was a treat. Add in drama and steamy passion and you have a good read. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

Bad Night Stand was my first book by this author. I must say that it was a nice surprise because with some books I had experience that description of the book was fenomenal and intriguing but book itself was really hard to read or I could not read it at all.

All in all,t his book was funny and romantic. Jordan was maybe quick to judge but he made it OK.

(...I wonder, how the story would go if Abby had no money, for example rich "father" but no trust fund...?)

Part with Abbies father could have been more elaborated but in this case I wonder is there maybe reason to add some connection with first book in the next book in the series so there could be additional plot or maybe there could be turn in story and that Abbies father in the end really is a father to her.... so there could be some tries to make peace....so much possibilities :-)

I recomend the book. It was pleasure for me to read it.

PS: the epilogue is intrigueing, can't wait to read Cecilia and Colin's story. It looks like it is going to be another great story

A good romance for a girls week-end at the beach.beach. Very few surprises but an interesting story and likable characters. Some very hot bedroom scenes.

Jordan and Abby have a one night stand ... and a bad one at that. Jordan became a billionaire when he sells his tech business and Abby gets hired by the new owner as a graphic designer. But everything goes really bad when Abby finds out she's pregnant with Jordan's baby.

I have read other books by this author and really enjoyed then, but this one had me confused. It start out really strong and I really had to laugh at what happened at their one night stand. But then Jordan just became a real jerk for no good reason, but he did redeem himself later on. Then the plot twisted to espionage and then to a sick child ... I just found they really didn't mesh that well and it was too much for one book. That being said, I really enjoyed the friendship that the ladies had and the next book is set up really good and can't wait to read it!

I received an ARC courtesy of the author, Elise Faber through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

This is book 1 in the Billionaire's Club series. It's about Jordan and Abigail. They meet in a bar and end up heading back to her place for a hookup, that ends extremely badly. She never expects to see him again, especially not when she finds out that her IUD failed and she is now pregnant. And Jordan makes some accusations and they both figure out exactly who the other is, and what is will mean to their lives. Now they have to not only deal with their issues with their future but face their issues with the past.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I really liked this book. I was iffy about reading it but it sounded good and I thought why not? I am really glad I did! It hooked me right from the start and kept me laughing through the whole thing! Abby and Jordan both have some serious issues but once they actually sit and talk about things they are perfect for each other. I love Abby's snarkiness and how she deals with Jordan when he is being a jerk. There were so many parts that just made me crack up (and get some weird looks from my husband LOL) while she was dealing with him and her interactions with her friends. I ended up loving this one! Right down to how they are with his family and how they stand up for each other. It was a great read and I can't wait to read the next one in this series!

Delightful and funny story of one night stand gone really bad to happy ending.
Abby and Seraphina were in a bar trying to have fun. Seraphina is always surrounded by guys and Abby heard all of their lame pick up lines. She is use to having Seraphina being center of the attention but when handsome “Thor” look alike approaches her instead of Seraphina, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Someone really wanting her instead of her beautiful friend.
Jordan needed a break while his company is being bought and when he saw Abby at the bar, he had to approach her and he couldn’t believe she didn’t hide anything. She was honest and keep him on his toes.
When they were at her place for one night stand... It didn’t work in Abby’s favor. He had left her hanging to receive a call and left her alone. Abby couldn’t believe he left her “unsatisfied”.
Nothing was going her way, she was fired from her work (technically her boss was bought out by her father) and she finds out one night stand became more than just one night when she runs into him again.

Abby and Jordan’s banters were really funny and they kept going back and forth.. Abby’s point of view is POV and Jordan’s view was third POV.. That kinda confused me in the beginning but story made me laugh out loud and smile often... It was definitely a page turner. I couldn’t wait to finish. Both were perfect in a way and they did everything backwards. I really enjoy reading. I can’t wait to read the next one.
I have read several of her books and it is really funny. This was one of the funny ones as well.
Thanks to Netgalley and author for my ARC in exchange for honest review.

I am SHOCKED at the irresponsible and dangerous way that the IUD is portrayed in this book. It is literally the safest, most effective form of long-term birth control. It is over 99% effective. To have Abby get pregnant while having an IUD would not only be VERY RARE, it would also be VERY DANGEROUS. The fact that this author so blithely waves away all of that---even to the extent that the ER doctor says he has a baby through a failed IUD, too, and that he then sends her away with testing for an ectopic pregnancy? I just cannot. When we live in a world where women's reproductive rights are actually at risk? I am angry to read a book that plays so fast and loose with how effective IUDs really are---especially then with the "I haven't been to a gynecologist in 7 years".

This is ridiculous and infuriating. Birth Control and IUDs work, and RIGHT NOW IN 2018, I refuse to have this be the cute story line for how these 2 get together. Not okay.

It's been quite a while since I read a book that's not from a favourite author in one sitting. That alone earned Bad Night Stand a 5 star rating. Add to it a female lead I could identify with and even my intense dislike of the male lead (Jordan) couldn't diminish my enjoyment. While the story is incredibly unrealistic the portrayal of Abby and her friends isn't. You see, my female friends and I have a private chat, with a "No Men Allowed" designation, in which we mainly talk shit, send each other pics of hot men and every once in a while the more talented ones share their incredibly hot and dirty short stories. And reading this book I felt like I'm reading one of our conversations. Especially when stuff like this:
Because what the heck was life without fictional eight-packs and alpha males who actually care about the women they slept with.
and this:
He brought every single Thor fantasy to life - the short-haired, shorn, lightning-bolts-on-the-side-of-his-head version.
were seamlessly introduced. I'm pretty sure we've spend way too much time waxing poetic about the new and improved Thor version. Talking about Thor, the hammer jokes Abby makes throughout the book had me roll on the bed laughing. I have highlighted a few to share with my friends later. Preferably while spamming said chat with Chris Hemsworth pictures.

Jordan pissed me off good in the beginning. To be honest I still don't like him because of his behaviour in the first third of the book. And if Abby wasn't so hilarious the manufactured drama (this books uses the tried and tested trope of miscommunication and/or total lack of communication to set the plot in motion) would have annoyed me and the end result would have mostly likely been a 1-2 star rating at best. But Abby and later on Hunter and the side plot got me hooked and I didn't have the heart to bitch about it. Or let it destroy an otherwise pretty nice book.

So to summarize: the book isn't something original, in fact it uses typical for the genre tropes, but is fun and made me laugh like a loon. And if you feel like picking a cheesy romance novel to relax I would highly recommend it.

P.S. The epilogue has me anxiously awaiting the sequel. It promises to be hilarious.

The story line of this book really intrigued me. Abby meets Jordan in a bar one night. She takes him home for what turns out to be really unfulfilling sex. After leaving Abby frustrated and having to rely on her Battery Operated Boyfriend (BOB), Jordan skips out. Flash forward eight weeks and Abby is pregnant from this evening of bad sex thanks to a defective IUD. Fate puts her right back in the path of Jordan who wants to make up for his poor performance. The remainder of the book is the two of them navigating impending parenthood and trying to determine if they even like each other.

I enjoyed the writing and the storyline. There was a part of the book, early on, where Jordan was such an ass that I wasn’t sure I could forgive him. I might have been rooting for Abby to kick him to the curb. He did manage to redeem himself but that was one part of the book that I struggled with. Also the intrigue in the book seemed thrown in, somewhat unnecessary, and wrapped up way too quickly. Given how much Abby and Jordan had to overcome, the extra intrigue really wasn’t needed.

Some of the secondary characters were great…..Heather (the overbearing sister) and Hunter (the sweet and lovable nephew). I’d love to see Heather get her own book.

This book was really good, I'm SHOCKED at how much I loved it - but in the best kind of way. I didn't start this book with high expectations as Elise Faber, is a new-to-me author but after reading Bad Night Stand I'M HOOKED!! I highly recommend this book!!

Abigail Roberts is side-kicking at a bar with her best friend Seraphina, when a blond and blue-eyed masterpiece of a man approaches her, Jordan O'Keith. At first, she'd skeptical with his flirting and attention, not sure if genuine with his interest in her, as she's been used in the past from men going through her to get to her goddess-like gorgeous bestie. Her suspicious attitude only pisses him off, and he becomes more intrigued by the brown-haired beauty. Chemistry is present, sparks fly, and clothes are being removed. Which leads to theBad Night Stand.

My favourite type of trope is BABIES. Just babies. Accidental babies. Secret Babies. Planned Babies. I-DON'T-CARE-HOW-JUST-GIVE-ME-A-BABY. So it was a no-brainer that I was itching to read this after reading the blurb. I like to think I've read *almost* every variation of accidental pregnancies romances out there, so I always expect the same cookie-cutter plot. I was blown away by this one, I mean the night they conceived their baby was DEFINITELY a new one!! I didn't know if I should be pissed at Jordon or laugh at the situation. AND THANK YOU Elise Faber, for writing a more realistic pregnancy!! Just something else about this book that wasn't cookie-cutter, with the typical symptoms in romance being morning sickness, suddenly hungry, now horny.*insert eye-roll* I laughed my ass off about the deodorant and what Abby would say to Jordan, it reminded me of my own pregnancy and my husband!! I loved it.

Elise Faber is a talented writer that takes sex to the ultimate level.

Bad Night Stand drove me insane it was a one night stand with not a so happy ending for the heroine, but the idiot of a man is determined to make sure she gets what she wanted, that is until he finds out she is knocked up with his kid, and he is convinced she is after his bucks which by the way she has no idea he even has.

It was a game of cat and mouse and the most annoying man on the planet who could not make up his damn mind.

Not my favorite book but it was a ok read.

Loved this book & will definitely be checking out other books by this author ( Elise Faber) ❤️❤️

A potentially so - so BAD One Night Stand Turns out - so - so GOOD !!!

This is the story of Abby & Jordan’s One Night Stand where just about everything that could go wrong with a chance meeting in a bar does ..... fast forward 6 weeks later to an unplanned pregnancy. This book is really funny & the chemistry between these 2 characters is seriously off the charts. The reader is taken on a highly adventurous story to their HEA.... where baby makes 3 !!

This book has it all:
Awesome characters & secondary characters ( who I hope may get their own stories)
Humor - deodorant that causing major puking anyone 😂
Romance
Sizzling chemistry
Family drama & issues to overcome

So good highly recommend this read!!

"Bad Night Stand" by Elise Faber

My Thoughts....

This one was quite a entertaining story that will put you into several emotional states from humor, sadness, craziness, madness to a swooning romance by the time the reader gets to the end of the read.

What will happen when Abby....the book nerd and sassy meets a look alike [Thor] alpha Jordan in a one night stand where everything seemed like a fun time until someone runs out due to a cell phone call? Along with that what will happen when Abby finds out that her IUD didn't work like it was supposed to? Will Abby be able to give Jordan another chance to prove 'he is different and worthy of being in their lives?" What will happen as two privileged individuals who have all the money but can it buy one happiness? Will these two get to a HEA?

I loved the secondary characters...especially the camaraderie with Abby's best friends were simply terrific!

The subplots that were brought into the story were interesting in how they were brought out with Abby's wired father, mother, Jordan's nephew [Hunter] and his family. I did enjoy how the Thor jokes did bring in humorous parts of the read and with Hunter also being a focus point in this story.

To get all of the above questions answered along with all misunderstandings from the story are clarified the reader will have to pick up "Bad Night Stand" to see how well written this author presents it to the readers.

In the end the reader will get the epilogue that will preview the next series in book 2 of the Billionaire's Club with Cecila and Colin's story.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Elisa Faber for the ARC.

I really loved this book. Jordan and Abby meet. and have a one night stand. And it is terrible, beyond awful, he treats her like crap. Not abusive but lets say very rudely. Then they meet again and she is all sick over him. They end up in the hospital and that is when the fun really starts. I don't want to say too much to give it away but Abby and Jordan are connected by more than a bad one night stand....way more....and I loved that.

This was a delightful, original and fun story withe two really wonderful characters and it was extremely well written. I really would love to read more by this author as it was such a wonderful story.

Abby goes to a bar with her friend where she meets Thor's twin Jordan. Abby takes Jordan back to her place where she has the quickest and unfulfilling one night stand. Jordan rushes out leaving Abby to finish achieving her orgasm by herself. A few weeks later, Abby finds herself without a job and pregnant. Jordan walks back in to Abby's life and tries to make it up to her for the awful experience. When Jordan finds out that Abby is pregnant, he believes that she has tried to trick him in to giving her money and supporting her. Abby wants nothing to do with Jordan and is trying to succeed on her own in order to support her child and herself. When Abby begins to work for a new company, she is thrown back in Jordan's path. Even though Abby and Jordan are making a muck out of each other's lives, they each want to do what is best for the baby. Will Abby give Jordan another chance to prove that he is different and worthy of being in their lives? Will their pasts tear them apart?

I thoroughly enjoyed Bad Night Stand. I found Ms. Faber's tale to be witty and engaging. Her characters were well written and full of depth. The plot kept you guessing what will happen and begging for more. I highly recommend Bad Night Stand to those 18 + due to language and sexual scenes. Thank you Ms. Faber and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book. I look forward to reading more of your work.

LOVED THIS STORY! I laughed, I cried, I hope they got a puppy! Fantastic summer read. Hoping for the next in this series.

3.5 stars.
I picked this up to read as I have previously read two other books by this author and seriously enjoyed both of them. 💕
This book however was surprisingly a bit of a mixed bag for me. While I loved the writing and the story for the most part, I found that I didn't always enjoy and like the MC's mainly based on their behavior.
Jordan actions especially. First he was sweet and then he acted like such a major a**hole and then back to sweet and considerate. I started to question if he might be bipolar!! Even the heroine referred to him as Jekyll and Hyde at one time.
Abigail for the most part was fine as the sassy girl, who has a tendency to blurt out whatever she is thinking without any filters but even she exasperated me at times. I really adored her girlfriends though and how close their relationship was. 💋
Don't get me wrong this is not a bad read by any means and I really did like it and I am definitely glad that I read this book but I also had a few niggly issues.
For one, I felt like there were too many subplots going on in the book- such as Abigail's nasty father and also Jordan's sick nephew (too much for one book). Even though the author still managed to keep it fun and interesting, they seemed to detract from the main story.
Recommended reading for anyone who enjoys the whole one night stand and baby on board trope. There do seem to be quite a few of those out there lately. 👣

This one started off on the wrong foot for me from the start. I hang on to see where this was going to end up. I thought there was far too many plot lines and crazy coincidences from the start (dads hate each other, one night stand that leads to more, nephew who was sick). It was all too much for one book.

3.5
I'm not going to re-summarize the plot, but here's what I liked and what didn't click -
What I liked:
I absolutely loved the camaraderie between the 4 women! They each have their own distinct personalities that all play off each other so well.

Jordan was very alpha when he was introduced and then when he was brought back into the story he became a colossal jerk. It changed for me (in a good way) after his actions in the conference room. At that point, we knew there was more to his family and company. He treated Abby differently and put himself. A bit Jekyll and Hyde, but he was genuinely devoted, honest, and vulnerable.

What didn't click for me:
1st person, 3 person... I know some people are particular about it, but none of that has ever bothered me. This one threw me off. Abby is written in 1st person (and starts the story). Jordan's point of view is written in 3rd person.

The mystery sub-plot... there were a few mentions and then it was revealed like an oh yeah, we need to add something about that here. In the end, I was a little confused and distracted by it, but also wanted it integrated into the overall story a little more for the build-up.

All that to say - the personalities and friendship between the women have me excited for their upcoming stories!

I received a copy of this story through NetGalley from the author and publisher for an honest review.
