I really enjoyed the romance between Abby and Jordan. Both have tea as from their pasts that affect them and their current relationships. I have to say that I thought Jordan was a total jerk in the beginning of the book. While I understood the motivations for his actions (which were explained later in the book), he still was not totally redeemed for me. Abby was a character I liked more. She's sweet and independent. Besides Jordan at the beginning, I did not like the POV switch from Abby (1st person) to Jordan (3rd person). I thought this switch was awkward and wished the author would pick one POV and stick with it. That aside, I really did like the read and would recommend it!

DNF quite early on. My notes from the first few chapters:

Location 88- Gag. She's Mary Sue. H's so hot, out of her league. Blah blah blah.

Location 102- Really?? Does this actually happen? (In reference to the dozen of girls "dotted around the room, coquettishly blinking at him.")

Location 112- Of course she's really short.

Location 183- Umm...it's been 5 min since you've met. How is THIS everything? (Jordan, male MC, says, "[a]nd then she was in his arms and it was everything.")

Someone please write a semi-original romance where the plot isn't short,"shy" girl who doesn't know she's gorgeous snags hot billionaire every chick wants to bang and every guy wants to be and they fall in love instantly as her tall, gorgeous outgoing bff and/or flamboyant gay bff stands by.

I tried to understand why the heroine's POV was in first person and the hero wasn't, but I just couldn't understand that.. also the story was predictable at best and it dragged at time.. there seems to be a lot of books coming out with the one night stand plot, its getting to be really repetitive

This is the first book I've read by Elise Faber but it won't be the last. At first glance Bad Night Stand (Billionaire's Club Book #1) seems like the typical one night stand, accidental pregnancy story line but ends up being so much more. Great characters with off the charts chemistry, laugh out loud funny and hot steamy romance. I'll be adding another author to my "must read" list.

While out with friends Abby spies a hunk of a man with Thor good looks that instantly has her dreaming of what a one night stand with him would be like, but unfortunately in her world, men like that just don't go for girls like her.. they tend to only want to get close to her, to get close her friends. And as sad as that sounds, it has become her reality more times than not, so when the handsome stranger comes over and strikes up conversation, she immediately shuts him down thinking he is only after her best friend. But all that does is get him fired up and irritate him to no end because his sole purpose for striding over to her was to get to know her, not her friend, and that little fact is more than unsettling.

She just can't believe that she actually caught his eye, this never happens to her, and now that it has she plans on making the most of the situation... she is taking Thor home and seeing what he can do with his hammer! But her little rendezvous with the handsome stranger winds up bringing far more excitement to her life than she ever anticipated...

Bad Night Stand is a humorous and heartfelt tale that is certain to have you giggling and swooning throughout!! The moment you crack the cover on this one and meet these wonderful characters who have quite the entertaining story to tell you will fall head over heels for them, they lured me in almost instantaneously. This is my first read from this author and I have to say her wonderful tale left me impressed, and dying for a revisit to the series, I just can't wait to get back to these characters and she what she has in store for them next. If you are looking for a well blended romance loaded with humor, heart and the feels, then I highly suggest you pick up Bad Night Stand... it's outstanding!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Bad Night Stand was my first book by this author. Abby, a loveable book nerd, meets sexy Thor lookalike, Jordan, at a bar and they decide to go to Abby's house for hookup. However, Jordan ends up being a thoroughly disappointing one night stand for Abby. I'll start with what I liked: funny, relatable, and heartwarming. What I didn't like: the POV for Abby was written in first person but then switched to third person for Jordan. That switch annoyed me so much that it took away from the story for me. I wish the story had been consistently written throughout to avoid the distraction. I also feel as though Jordan's character was made into such a big jerk in the beginning that it was very hard to get to fully love him. Overall, it was a good story but I'm only giving it 4 chilli peppers of hotness because of the way it was written.

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!!

This romance was more than I expected. I thought it would be your typical one night stand equals pregnancy but there was a lot more to it. I enjoyed it.

LOVED,LOVED LOVED this story, both Abby and Jordan came from privileged backgrounds but money can’t buy happiness and they are perfect examples of this. They did have great friends though and after some misunderstandings each other. I loved the Thor jokes and Hunter stole the show.

OMG these two LOL, This was a funny book, a little romance, a little "OMG I hate you" added to a mix and a roller coaster of a romance. Worth reading

I thought the book was good and the characters were funny. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down.

Better late than never for Jordan to remember that he had manners, “dance?” He held out a hand. “I should have asked before I went all caveman on you.” There are times Abby thinks her man purposely has selective hearing, “that?” she nearly shrieked. “I admit all of that, and you’re focused on that fact that I love your abs?” I loved this book, it was quite entertaining and the characters were easy to love.

Elise Faber did a great job making you feel like you are part of the story and creating the characters and storyline. The beginning of the book was really good but it became a bit redundant half way through. It was entertaining and kept me engaged.

Unfortunately, the author did such a wonderful job painting Jordan as an ass in the beginning, that I never was able to see him as a good man in the end. I mean yes he does have some good qualities that come out. Abby is no saint, but to put up with Jordan, she is in my eyes.

<b>When a bad night stand turns into happily ever after.</b> 3.5★

This was a really nice surprise for me. I've seen it on Netgalley, read the blurb and requested it. It was approved and I decided to read it next after <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2416452946">Getting Schooled by Emma Chase</a>. It didn't have any other reviews on GR, so I started with a completely open mind and to be honest, without many expectations. <b>But it turned out to be so good.</b>

Here's what happened: they meet in a bar and because there's insta-attraction/chemistry on both sides, she invites him back to her place for sex.
Pause to explain the first reason for my 3.5★: <i>they were complete strangers to each other, but she trusted him enough not to use a condom.</i>
It had been a long time for him, so he comes (she doesn't), then his phone is ringing, he picks it up, hears the bad news and walks out the door without a "bye" or a "thanks". <spoiler>He had a valid reason for leaving, but still....</spoiler>
Long story short, the heroine got pregnant after this, but don't worry, life throws them back in each other's lives, to find their HEA.

Now here's what I think. The first half of the book was crazy good. I would have given it an easy 5★, because it was funny, intriguing and interesting. But then, after all misunderstandings were clarified, it turned a little vanilla. On the plus side, after an "asshole-<i>y</i>" moment from our hero, he redeemed himself pretty nicely. The whole second part of the book was nice and cozy, with just enough drama to make it "real".

All in all, I really liked this book and I enjoyed reading it (<i>minus the hammer jokes)</i>.
You should definitely give it a chance and see for yourself how you like it.
I'm no expert, but I think Elise Faber did a great job with this story and she deserves her book on the "best seller list".

PS: the epilogue is basically a preview for the next book in the series and i'm hooked. Can't wait to read Cecilia and Colin's story too.
