Although this was predictable. It was a really good funny read. I really enjoyed everything about it and am looking forward to reading more from this author.

A gorgeous story of two best friends coming together to make their dreams come true. Although indecisive to start off with, the Unicorn Gift Shop and the little tea shop ended up being the perfect pairing and allowed us readers to embrace our childlike mindset.

The book contained humour, happiness, lots of sparkles and a whole world of joy - whilst also still dealing with Poppy and Ben's troubles throughout their personal lives.

I absolutely adored this book and will be looking in to what else Kellie has to offer.

This almost had a feel of a children's book for adults. I mean who doesn't dream of the romanticism of running a little tea shop or indeed a unicorn gift shop.

Easy to read, a little fluffy and far fetched, but who wants to read about real life. It was such a fun read. I' will be recommending it to my readers.

I admit I haven't read anything by the author previously but I shall look for more now. I enjoyed this fun, lighthearted book - definitely an easy to read that will keep you amused from start to finish.
Its not all fluffy and sparkle, it contains wonderful, great descriptive writing - especially with the shop!
A lovely, romance filled read that is well written. It's funny and will have you smiling - who couldn't enjoy a little bit of magic.

Before I started reading this i had forgotten how much I had enjoyed this author previously, which may explain why the book was on my kindle for months unread, despite my best intentions

However from the first couple of pages I was smiling and knew I would thoroughly enjoy this story, which I did.

Poppy's joy for life and her love of all things unicorn had me addicted to her from the first moments. She is bubbly and loves nothing more than unicorns, glitter and sparkle!

She is returning from over a decade of travelling, and coerces her best friend from school to share the shop he was purchasing with her.

Thus is born Sparkle and Steep - unicorn gift shop in one half and an elegant teashop in the other, Only one small problem, Ben isn't keen on unicorns!

This is a joyous story, full of laughs, moments when you want to knock Poppy and Ben's heads together, and and all round happy vibe to it.

There is depth, character development, a lovely story which is easy to read and hopefully means that I will bumping the next book by this author up my TBR a lot faster. Simply put I adored this book.

Warm and fluffy with depth. An enjoyable read about Ben and Poppy who set up a joint coffee shop and unicorn gift shop. Great descriptions of the shop without getting boring - could really imagine myself there.

It was interesting to read the acknowledgements and see that the author is a Kiwi and has never visited Muswell Hill... very impressive!

What a brilliant title for a story. This is a really good easy read and I really enjoyed it.
A well written story with a romance at its heart spread with a little magic along the way.

The Little Unicorn Gift Shop by Kellie Hailes is a cute romantic comedy. I really enjoyed this book and will be looking for the other books by this author. I love all the quirky characters that bring this book together. If you want a funny, heartwarming quick read, I recommend this book.

I never really thought I would like anything unicorns related... and here I am, already a big fan. All because of this book! It's a sweet and cozy friends-to-lovers book, a reading that puts a smile on your face from the beginning to the end.
No dramas, no terrible accidents, only good people and their feelings (with tea, cakes and unicorns!). Ben and Poppy are perfect (especially Ben, please, can I have one for me????). Friends since childhood, stayed 12 years apart and suddenly, renew their friendship and turn it into something more...
It's a well-written book, although a little rushy sometimes (and a little repetitive, too), but I was having a great time reading it, so it didn't bother me too much.
It's chick lit, so there are no sex scenes, only kisses and hugs.
I have to say that it's not going to be a book that stays with me forever but when I was reading it, I had a good time. It's a simply but sweet feel-good reading.

I loved this book.It was so warm and cosy , filled with great friendships, a romance trying to blossom and wonderful unicorns everywhere! You could feel Poppy's enthusiasm in making her shop a success.
Poppy and Ben were childhood friends and she comes back from travelling the world and plans share shop premises with Ben. He's opening a lovely tea shop with delicious flavours and she is taking over the other side of the shop with everything Unicorn, including onesies!
It was lovely to see how Ben tries to win Poppy's love as she is very wary of letting anyone love her due to a troubled childhood.
I coud just imgaine walking into the tea shop and having to buy something from the gift shop before leaving.

This was a fun, sweet read that surprised me a lot. I can't say I am the biggest Unicorn fan but I could not help but adore this story. The relationship between the main characters was engaging and felt so honest. I loved the story and the setting and am looking forward to reading more by this author.

Poppy has been around the world since she left Ben twelve years ago. But when she comes back to open a shop featuring unicorns she finds out Ben is opening a shop featuring teas. Together they open a shop together, Sparkle and Steep. Of course there is a feelings between the two. But there is one problem and that is Poppy believes she cannot love or be loved.
For fans of romance. A very cute love story.

Lovely book. It was the title that attracted my attention, in spite of my age I love Unicorns (I blame Agnes in Despicable Me).
The story was great, the characters were strong. The back story of Polly's upbringing made sense of why she didn't believe in love but her inherent happiness and her need to make others happy showed that the ability to love was there. She just needed to let herself open up. I wanted to bang Ben and Polly's heads together but, to me, that's the sign of a good book, when you care about the characters and what happens to them. I also liked Ben's back story, that he'd spent most of his life trying to please his parents because he loves them but he'd finally decided to do something to make himself happy.
This was so easy to read, perfect for losing yourself in, on a sunny beach or on a rainy afternoon. I will certainly be reading more of Kellie Hailes' books.

Fun, frothy and sparkly!
Ben and Poppy were childhood friends. Can Ben forgive Poppy’s abrupt exit to travel the world? Can Poppy open her heart? A sparkly heartwarming romance set in a tea shop/unicorn gift shop. Sounds bizarre but it really works. Loved this book!

Currently sunning myself in the Dominican Republic and we all know nothing completes a holiday better than a genuine feel good novel. The little unicorn gift shop was this and so much more. From page one I was enthralled, rooting for Poppy and Ben hoping that the author would weave her magic to complete the story in a way that the reader supports.
It’s been a while since I’ve chosen to pick up a gentle read and I’m so pleased this was my choice this morning. Couldn’t put it down I read the book in less than 2 hours.
Perfect for those moments when you need affirmation of the love that’s in the world 💕

Although not my usual genre, i was really into reading a light hearted book!

..., and i was not disappointed!!

This book was so warm and easy to read!

i loved the setup and the romance, just exactly what i needed; the perfect book for the beach!

Will definitely check Kellie Hailes' books next time i would like something to read of this genre!
