A fun, engrossing, irreverent, and masterfully written book that reminds all who pick it up if the simple joys of reading a multidimensional, well crafted tale.

I usually love quirky books with colorful characters. This missed the mark for me though. At times the writing seemed too simple, but then there were moments where the author's talent really shined through.

The characters were unique but I really couldn't push myself to care about them or their story. It just wasn't that interesting to me. Maybe it was because the plot was just too narrow. Maybe it was because I couldn't care less about a man chasing down a woman from a magazine. I don't know. It just seemed really one-dimensional.

A really strange story with different characters, from a mafia Don, to one of his cousins, and then a madam who steals a thumb drive with information on it. For me though, the story just jumped too much from character to, to character and from place, to place. This reason I was not able to really get into the story.

I appreciate having had an opportunity to read this book in ARC form. The appeal of this particular book was not evident to me.
