I feel like all my reviews of books by Cynthia Eden are basically the same: READ THIS BOOK! She has a way of creating the most fascinating worlds and the characters that inhabit them are always interesting. The stories are passionate and intense and always make me want to keep reading. This one, an older release, features Eden’s signature kickass heroines and heroes once again fighting the good fight to banish evil and find love along the way. The characters here, Maya and Adam, are in a race to find an abducted child, Adam’s niece and ward. Maya is wary of everyone and Adam is hiding his true identity. Together they search for his niece and find a (literally in Adam’s case) smoking connection between each other. Definitely recommended.

I am excited for this new series, I couldn't put this book down, it has everything vampires, shifters, demons. The main character Maya is fricken awesome kicks butt has attitude as some amazing sex with a guy named "Adam", who isn't what he seems. This is definitely a series I will be buying and recommend.

It has been awhile since I’ve read a Cynthia Eden book so when I saw this opportunity to read this one I jumped at the chance. I forgot how good they can be. I did not realize until later that this is actually a re-issue, but one I haven’t had a chance to read yet.

Maya is one badass former cop, turned vampire. Five years prior, working as a LA cop Maya was taken down by a vampire in an alley. Since then she has been taking out all things paranormal that are hurting the innocent. On the night she beheaded a Level 10 demon, Adam had been watching and approaches her with a deal. Help him find his niece who was kidnapped by vampires and he will repay with his blood (and some money too). Adam’s character is very interesting, it has been hinted he was something “not human” but you really don’t find out until later in the story. Not 100% sure he is not human Maya feels like she needs to protect him, he goes along with no fear whatsoever. Maya is actually the one who is constantly getting hurt, but again she is a badass vampire, she recovers.

As the two go on the rescue mission the attraction between the two is building until it could no longer be denied. The romance between the two is hot but also heart-warming. Maya is tough as nails but she has such a soft heart. Adam initially appeared be the weaker of the two, but that is so not true. He is one big alpha male and it comes across quite well.

All in all this book kept my attention and I quite enjoyed this read.

Love this paranormal romance by Cynthia Eden it’s just another great addition to her other wonderful world. The two main characters, once together or are phenomenal. This book will keep your interest page after page.

A full length book for a Prequel, Immortal Danger is a suspense filled romance of the paranormal kind! Maya a former cop now a not so happy vampire kicking ass and dealing out her kind of payback and Brody the not so human who needs Maya’s help to find his niece. Can these two work together to save the nine year old. As the passion sizzling and the danger nears these two are unstoppable in achieving their desire. I really enjoyed this book and recommend you pick up your copy as well.

This is a reissue. I read this the first go around and its actually the book that introduced me to Cynthia Eden and got me hooked. I love paranormal stories that have either cops, FBI, etc and or military. This one delivered the paranormal with cop. Female cop no less. Yea! You are grabbed on page one, Ok let's be honest - how about the first sentence "So this is what death feels like" Well written, suspense, shifters, vampires, demons, Wyvern, snark, lust, compassion, fury I could go on an on. I could do with a little more plot and less intense, detailed sex scenes, hence my 4 stars. I highly recommend this book, any book by Cynthia Eden

I read Immortal Danger years ago when it was first released. It is being rereleased and I received and ARC. I loved Immortal Danger when I first read it, and I still love it. Cynthia Eden masters Paranormal Romance. Usually when you see a book is .5 in a series it’s a novella, but I love that Immortal Danger is a full length novel. Maya and Adam are great characters and I really enjoyed peeling back all of their layers.

Vampires,dragons and wolves. What more can you ask for in a paranormal romance that's filled with hot sex and excitement. Love Cynthia's work!

This is only a prequel! Really damn good for a prequel. Maya and Adam are great! Good flow to read though. Maya was a kick ass vampire and a great lead. Adam was bad ass dragon! It wasn't instant mates which is good change of pace. The journey towards becoming more was drawn through out the book. Great secondary characters. The sarcastic banter and chemistry through the book was great. Cynthia did it again! Can't wait for more!

Immortal Danger by Cynthia Eden

An intensely addictive book from the first paragraph – this book was outstandingly riveting.

Ms Eden has given readers everything they could desire in this book. From nail biting tension and heart stopping romance, to eye widening shock and teeth grinding worry, this novel provides everything on a reader’s wish list.
The book is excellently written and the charismatic characters leap from the page. The ‘what ifs?’ that embed in your mind as you read make you wonder, even as you find yourself compelled to keep reading. The paranormal content is scarily, realistically written, in such a way that I could almost believe ‘they’ exist.

Everything readers of Ms Eden’s work would expect and more – I don’t believe Ms Eden could give us, the reader, less than excellence.

I wholeheartedly adore this author.

This is an incredibly sexy paranormal romance. Maya and Adam are explosive together.

I can happy to recommend this book.

Immortal Danger is a great paranormal romance with Vampires, werewolves, demons, shapeshifters and a few other 'beings' thrown into the mix.
Maya was a cop but after being attacked by a Vampire she herself has been turned, still unable to let go of the 'cop' part of her she now hunts down those that cause harm to others. Enter Adam, supposedly human but hiding a big secret, he needs Maya's help in finding his niece who has been abducted by vampires.
With sarcastic and humorous dialogue a fast paced exciting race against time this book flows along, entertaining and enjoyable and as the attraction between the two sizzles it reaches a very satisfying end.

Paranormal just got amped up! Cynthia Eden is a great storyteller. Vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, & wyverns. She is able to mix supernatural with romance & sexiness with just the right balance. I read the different series that she publishes, and haven’t been disappointed.
You should add her to your list of authors if you want to be entertained and taken to different worlds.

Loved this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished. Maya was a cop and has been turned into a vampire. But now she hunts the bad paranormal. Adam needs help in rescuing his niece from a vampire. Heeven offers his own blood. But what is he? He’s definitely not human. Can he ever perfect mate? I highly recommend this book.

What a great story! Maya Black is a cop turned vampire who doesn't really change. She still fights to keep the streets safe-only now she deals with demons, etc. Adam Brody his niece was kidnapped. He hires Maya to locate her. This book has it all...Romance, suspense, surprises. Maya Never gives up, she keeps plodding along and fighting. I loved her grit. They chemistry between Adam and Maya is terrific. I give this 4 stars and a heat rating of Hot. This is part of a series, which I plan to read. I would recommend this to any romance or paranormal romance reader.

Adam doesn't trust her but heard she's the best so he hires her to find his niece. Maya can usually tell if someone is a vampire, shifter, or a demon but she can't tell with Adam. She just knows that he isn't human. Lots of suspense, action, and paranormal romance!

This book is for you if you like a vampire novel with heavy suspense. Maya is a kick-butt character, and the romance is sexy.

Maya was a cop turned into a vampire. She is one bad vampire. She kills those who kill innocent people or other supernaturals. Adam is needing to hire her to help him find his niece. She was taken by some vampires. Maya agrees but there is something different about Adam, she just can’t figure it out,
The longer the are together, the stronger the attraction builds until they can’t stop the lust from taking over. There are several out there who don’t want Maya to find the little girl. The first Born vampire is about to rise and the girl is his gift from his followers. Hopefully they can get to her before he drains her of her blood.
Extremely sexy story. Blood, werewolves, demons, and other non humans. Plenty of suspense and will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. I truly loved this story. Both are bada$$es and can beat anyone.

I love Cynthia Eden's books. She writes terrific paranormal romance. Her characters especially the heroines are strong and brave. This book is no different. I love both of the leads in this story. The heroine is a bad ass in the best way possible. The hero holds his own against a vampire. The plot is exciting and fast moving. No filler parts. The romance is hot. I really enjoy this book.

Loved this!! I saw the 0.5 and thought it was a prequel and would be short, boy was I pleasantly surprised to get a full length book with some amazing characters! I loved Maya and Adam. Maya is one tough vamp and I loved seeing her and Adam work together, without him over protecting too much. This really isn’t one you have to have read any of Night Watch to appreciate, mainly bc outside of Lucas I can’t remember anyone else from the series showing here. I will say it’s a fast paced action packed read with some serious steamy moments between our leads. I kind of feel like I need to do a Night Watch reread to just bc it’s been so long and I enjoyed this so.
