I have always loved Cynthia Eden books and this was no different. She has a way of making the reader feel what the characters are feeling. All those internal thoughts the characters have are clearly related through her writing.

Maya is just nonchalant about some things, “well, not like I can really judge, now can I? I mean, I’m a vampire and I’m a killer. I figure that pretty much makes us even.” Adam doesn't like his woman teasing him, “don’t play with me, Maya. You don’t want to rouse the beast.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Adam.

This is a book that has previously been released I believe so obviously check you haven’t already read it. Unfortunately it’s my first time reading this so have no idea if it’s been extended or added to in any way .
This author has an uncanny knack for producing paranormal romance stories that grip her readers. I wasn’t sure initially how I’d feel about a kick ass, vampire heroine but Maya actually won me over. I guess I tend to prefer strong male leads and luckily the author had ideas that made Adam both protective , fierce and a worthy hero. Perhaps the respect was what made these characters spring to life in my mind although obviously the trust had to build. This was a fast paced and did I say a hot, hot story that had me eagerly turning the pages. If you are seeking a book that encompasses vampires, shifters or demons then you really cannot go wrong with this author.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair
