This daily devotional is spiritually fulfilling. Each entry is a realistic length to tackle each day. The theology seems sound, though I’m not an expert. Each devotion made me feel refreshed and hopeful. A great resource.

I love devotional books that lift your spirit but can be a quick morning or nightly read. This devotional was everything I was looking for. It is great for young adults to old. It gives a bible scripture and and a nice devotion for each day. I am actually going to give a few copies to loved one and friends as gifts. I received a copy from the publisher through Goodreads for a review.

Easy to read and inspiring messages for every day, this is a perfect pick me up for every day, loved it!

This was a great read! I feel refreshed in my spirituality, which sometimes I do feel that I can struggle with. I identified with this read and would recommend it for others.

365 Spiritual refreshments not only for women

The staff of Barbour Publishing compiled a 365-day devotional which is combined with a Bible reading plan under the title "Everyday Spiritual Refreshment for Women" with the goal that women engage in the life-changing journey of regularly reading the bible and to finish reading the Bible in one year. The reader who is using this Bible reading plan and devotional has to invest about 15 - 30 minutes per day. The plan includes an Old Testament reading, a New Testament reading, and a reading of a Psalm or Proverb as well as an encouraging devotional thought which is highlighting a Bible promise from the daily reading. The Bible verse which is used for this thought is quoted, the used Bible translation marked with the corresponding abbreviation. The graphics from the cover page is repeated throughout the book and makes the book attractive.
I recommend the book for women of every age and situation of life who want to have a concise word of encouragement with their daily reading plan and who want to engage to read the Bible in one year. It is not recommended for readers who are looking for a detailed study of the Bible text.

I freely admit, I am a serial devotional hunter. I can never seem to find a devotional that holds my interest for very long. They're either too long, too heavy. to short, to superficial, too....something. So I was pretty excited to try out Everyday Spiritual Refreshment for Women. I am also thrilled to report that I have finally found "devotional peace." Finally!! A devotional that I have stuck with, and absolutely cannot wait to devour the next day. Everyday, my heart is filled, my spirit is calmed and I am edified with each new entry. I simply cannot wait to have the physical copy of this book in my hands.

This was exactly the type of devotional that I need. I continue to devour it day after day. I look forward to the message it will bring the next time I open it.

I went through the first 20 days and I really enjoyed this set up.

I like how I still get to look up stuff in my Bible and I still get that personal time with it. While also getting some spiritual guidance and reminders depending on what was talked about during that days bible study.

I like how it was also mentioned that this was a good way to read the bible in a year. This has been one of my long-term goals, but I never make it when attempting to do it on my own because of how long some of the books can be.

I cannot wait to start using this and I do plan to pick up a copy of my own once it is out!

This daily devotional has a reading from the Old Testament, New Testament and Psalm, and a devotion that ties them all together. This book would be a wonderful gift for any woman. I received an ARC copy from Barbour Publishing via NetGalley, and this is my honest opinion of this book.

This was a nice little devotional book for women and it can be taken anywhere. It only takes a few minutes each day to 'gas' up, so to speak, to enrich your spiritual lives.

I love this book. The bible plan is very straight forward. This book would be a very good gift for people that need a reading plan. The words of encouragement was also a welcome addition. Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

If you’re looking for a daily positivity book with a refresher on bible verse this is the book for you. If you’re looking for more of a bible lesson plan for daily use this isn’t it. Beautiful book to have. Thank for you for the DRC in exchange for a honest review.

If you need a "what to read on a specific day" Bible reading plan, this can work. If you already read your Bible daily and wanted a quick something to go alongside it, this might be it. If you're wanting a devotional that expands on your daily Bible readings, this probably isn't it. This truly is just a fee scriptures listed one each (dated) page and then a paragraph of some "words of encouragement." Everyone has various seasons of what appeals to them in a book at the time as well as seasons for where they are currently at in their walk with the Lord. My current season for both didn't personally make this book call out to me. But, as it is, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the book, could be a very nice addition to any women's morning Bible time or in a homeschooling mother's Morning Basket, etc. This would also make a nice gift for fellow women in your church, book club, or mother's group.
