A great mix of shifter romances!
I love this genre because shifters always have an undeniable urge to be close to their mate. It makes for great romances.
This set is great because you get a quick glimpse into each couples’ story. No cliffhangers. All happy endings! 5 stars!

Three cute stories about finding your mate. Each has a interesting female who has issues of some kind. Each has the help of a male who realizes that she is his mate and who has to work hard to win her approval and love. Read one at a time or all three at once. Either way you are in for a treat.
I received a copy of the book in return for an honest review.

The first one was enjoyable. The pace was good until the very end. Once Vlad is dead and they wake up back at his parents place, the relationship that started out steady and authentic rushed like the author had to suddenly end the story. It was like the moment she was safe her personality completely changed and she became more aggressive. She came on strong and he just followed, where for most of the book, he was the aggressor and she followed. I got the feeling that the author had to suddenly end the story and in a blink she did. I would have preferred him to be the one to make the final move once she was safe. The role reversal made the whole story kind of lose it for me. And I don’t understand the whole tranquilizer part at the end on the roof. Why did her grandpa want both of them shot with tranquilizers when the danger was over? It didn't make much sense at that point and to the end. Other than that, it was good.
Book 2 was quick. It moved fast and definitely had a middle of a series vibe. It also has a novella feel to it, but the concept and conflict were good. The character development was good, though some things were clearly already established prior to page one. I liked it but I would have liked a bit more build up and a few things explained more. I didn’t realize she knew about shifters from the beginning, so I wasn’t sure how that was going to play out. The reader definitely needs to go in knowing some things which made it hard to fall in love with, because I did feel like I was missing out on some important information.
Book three in the anthology I think was my favorite of the three. It hadz strong characters, an entertaining plot, the conflict was believable and carried the story. They definitely had some emotional tension to work out before they could have a happily ever after. Their chemistry was strong and well developed and there was plenty of passion. Overall, best of the three stories all the way around and enjoyable.

This book is a treat for fans of both the authors and of the paranormal romance genre. Anyone interested in shifter romances must check out these latest novellas! Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden and Kate Baxter treat their fans with their latest romantic tales.
"Bearing His Touch" by Eve Langlais begins with Becka, a woman held captive by a madman and his posse. She has no idea what is happening to her or why, and the readers won't either...not until the very end. The story starts off with a brutal action sequence and a mystery that remains part of the subplot until the end. Eve Langlais keeps up with the pace of her story using both action and humor. Everything gets resolved by the story's resolution making "Bearing His Touch" a worthy read.
"Fake Mated to the Wolf" by Milly Taiden focuses on the online dating site, "Mates Fur Hire," and how running an online dating website is not as easy as it looks. Readers are introduced to Shawna Goode who has been abused by her jealous supervisor, Clark Benoit. Fired from her job and forced to work several jobs to help her family, Shawna does not even realize that she's captured the attention of Hawke Hawke, the CEO of the company. "Fake Mated to the Wolf" is a bit more cliche and is one of Milly Taiden's weaker ones, but it's still enjoyable and entertaining.
"The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress" by Kate Baxter is about what it states in the title. Ellie is a woman cursed with immortality and confinement in Lowman, Idaho. She spends her time working at the local diner and concealing herself from everyone else. That is, until Colin, a member of a werewolf pack, appears. Colin knows what it's like to be inflicted with a curse, so he decides to assist his mate (unknown to Ellie) with breaking hers. The story contains all of the elements found in a quest and magic tale, with an ambivalent twist near the story's end that makes you recall everything about fairy tales. "The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress" is a charming shifter/fairy tale.
"In the Mood Fur Love" is a great compilation of novellas for all readers of the genre and for fans of the three authors. Fans of the authors will love it; and, readers of the genre, like myself, will find the tales to be captivating and adoring. This set of stories is worth reading!
“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

In the Mood Fur Love (Kindle) by Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden and Kate Baxter .. Thanks to the publisher and #Netgalley for giving me the chance to preview this book. Three great stories BEARING HIS TOUCH B.... FAKE MATE TO THE WOLF ... THE WITCH THE WEREWOLF AND THE WAITRESS these are all great fun stories with lots of steamy sex and action and all with HEA.

In the Mood Fur Love contains three fantastic stories by three top notch authors. Escape into the fantasy.
Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais – Becka has been kidnapped and seems to be on everyone’s hit parade of must haves. She rescues herself with some help of a big brown eyed man with the heart of a teddy bear. Bear shifter Stavros wasn’t looking for his mate when he helped the damsel in distress but now that he has he will do whatever is necessary to keep her free. I liked that Becka isn’t some puling woe is me kinda gal. She has had a bad row to hoe but she has kept her spine and self-esteem. Stavros is just plain fun.
Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden – Pure Milly Taiden. Fun, sexy and sweet. This may be a falling for the boss type of story but she sure makes him work for it.
The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress by Kate Baxter – This was a different type of shifter story. Not bad just different. Where the first two have more of a sense of fun this story was a little more serious. The hero has to save his mate from a centuries long curse before he can claim her for his own. I really got into this story and couldn’t put it down.

First time reading from any of the authors and I thought the first two were okay; Langlais' was a little hard to follow at the beginning. Baxter's was probably my favorite out of the bunch since it seemed the most finished and also had the most interesting premise.

Shapeshifters, man. I have SUCH a soft spot for them.
Bearing His Touch - Stavros's story and BOY does he have a good one. And by good, I mean he gets a chance to kick bad guy butt and be a furry rock (so to speak) for his special lady friend. On the other hand, while Stavros wades merrily into battle, Becka has to dig deep for the strength to find herself again. You know, after being abducted and used for nefarious purposes. Bad guys are jerks, man. Jerks. Bears, on the other hand, are just crazy.
Fake Mated to the Wolf - Hawke Hawke and Shawna are up this time around. She's sort of antagonistic toward him (despite the fact he owns the company she works for) and he's...I dunno. Clueless about all things women or something. Also, for a wolf who prides himself on being involved with his company and all the people in it, Hawke certainly didn't know what was going on in the department where Shawna worked. Which is unfortunate because him not knowing what was going on put her and all the people she cares about at risk. On the plus side, things worked out in the end. BUT STILL.
The Witch, the Werewolf, and the Waitress - Okay. I'm digging these wolves. They're kinda trigger happy when they come across their mates, but they're FUN! I definitely feel for Ellie and the situation she was forced into, but, you know, if she hadn't been cursed she and Colin never would have happened. And that would have been a crying shame. CRYIN'!

IN THE MOOD FUR LOVE is an anthology of sexy shifter stories by Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden and Kate Baxter. All three are amazing authors with different paranormal voices that fit into this one book perfectly. There is never enough room to fully say everything needed to express my pleasure in these hot offerings.
All in all -- IN THE MOOD FUR LOVE is three stories that are great reads that will fit any mood you might be in.

In the Mood Fur Love anthology
Theme in common: shifters finding their mates. The first two often irreverent, the third on the darker side. All sexy romances.
Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais
A humorous novella with a bear shifter (grawr) to the rescue of a hostage held female who apparently is his mate. (Lick her.)
I found this one to be very amusing and entertaining.
Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden
Mates for Hire is a paranormal matchmaker. This is the 3rd in this novella series. A very feisty and lusty heroine. A curvy girl with spunk. On the lighter side of paranormal with a highly protective mate.
I love the friendships between the men and between the women. Supportive and teasing each other at the same time. Obviously good friends. I like the connections of more than just the couple in a story.
What I didn’t especially like were all the random pet names he called her: babe, honey, beautiful, baby. He was obviously smitten but I didn’t get this randomness.
The Witch, the Werewolf, and the Waitress by Kate Baxter
A woman is cursed by a witch and is now immortal and stuck in the town of Lowman for eternity. When Colin meets her at a restaurant in town, he knows instantly she is his mate. Now he needs to break her curse so he can take her home to his pack.
Continues the pack storyline from the prior anthologies. Darker and very different writing style than the prior two but a good werewolf romance storyline.
I received a copy of this book via NetGalley.

This collection of three paranormal romance novellas is good. I enjoyed it. It just didn't knock my socks off, and I think I'd feel short-changed if I had actually purchased this for myself at the current listed price I can find online.
I've read all 3 authors before, and I feel like their contributions here might be the weakest I've read from them even though I certainly don't regret the time I spent reading these novellas. The hero and heroine in each novella were the strongest part of the experience for me, and the building of the worlds for each one was probably the weakest part. I'm starting to wonder if these novella collections are more of a disservice to the authors than a good way to hook new readers. Perhaps I'm in the minority in thinking their other works are better hooks.

Three novellas, three authors, one entertaining anthology. All three stories revolve around shifters finding their fated mates. The beauty of a fated mates story is that instalove works, at least on the shifter side of things. I did like that the humans involved in these stories felt the attraction, but they didn't fall madly in love at first sight. Each story has a good mix of romance, danger, and action, and I also found a bit of wit and humor in Fake Mated to the Wolf. Some things could've used more development, but there is a lot of story packed into these reads. In the end, all three stories are well worth the read, mixing romance, a bit of steamy fun, and plenty of action, and of course, some yummy shifters!

this will be real short review as the the wifi here is really slow :( anyway I did enjoy the story, I always love myself some shifter stories and I can tell you it was very enjoyable. Though these three stories did feel real short for me, I would have liked it if these stories were a bit longer. I will say that i do recommend this stories if you enjoy shifter stories.

Awesome! I love these authors and this book didn't disappoint! All 3 stories were fast paced and full of shifter romance! I loved them. My favorite was Eve Langlais's story with Becka and Stavros. If you want some good stories with awesome shifters then check this out!

In the Mood Fur Love is a great box set and is the second set in the Fur box set. This is a great way to find new author and take a chance on shifter type romances. I hope there are more sets like this...loved this. Here is a blurb of what you get:
Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais
When Becka manages to escape her kidnapper, she finds herself asking help of the man with the nice brown eyes. Stavros can’t say no, not when he knows Becka is his mate, but he does have one dilemma when it comes to claiming her. He'll have to find a way for her to bear his touch.
Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden
Looking for a mate to bring to a party? Wedding? Holiday gathering? Mates Fur Hire is right for you? But what happens when your fake mate ends up being your real one, from New York Times bestselling author Milly Taiden!
The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress by Kate Baxter
For centuries, Lowman, Idaho has been Ellie Curtis's prison. A vengeful witch cursed her with immortality and locked her within the confines of Lowman's borders, sealing Ellie off from most of civilization for eternity. She's learned to make the most of it. But when she meets a cocky werewolf who's part of the elite supernatural law enforcement group, all bets are off...

This is a bundle of super short stories.
1. Bearing his touch by Eve Langlais.
I give this one 4 stars.
I know her well enough to like her writing and know that she can write short stories with a lot of info. It is delivered quickly and thoroughly; to the point. This is no different.
Becka was kidnapped and held for a moth when she manages to escape and Stavros is the one who finds and rescues her. She also ends up being his mate. Even if she weren't he would have helped her no matter what.
He's a bear hell bent on keeping her safe and to himself. His family joins in on those games and they all get things done and taken care of together. While I would have liked more action and story it was easy and enjoyable to read.
2. Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden.
I give this one 2 stars.
This one I didn't like so much. I'm clearly missing previous stories and maybe that's why I feel this way? I felt like the connection between Hawke and Shawn wasnt strong, it was superficial. Just a lot of attraction at best.
The big draw in this story is Shawna's family being held captive yet we get nothing good out of that. You get brief calls, Shawna freaking out, and Hawke trying to fix it all. You get maybe a paragraph worth of info, nothing of value. This one just wasn't for me.
3. The Witch, The Werewolf, and The Waitress by Kate Baxter.
I give this one 4 stars.
This one was definitely the best on in this bundle. You get action, detail, and a good story. Yes it is short, but it doesn't feel rushed. Yes, Colin is a werewolf and has claimed Ellie as his mate but he isn't expecting instant love. He knows that it is something that needs to grow.
Ellie is immortal and pretty much hates it. She's been alive (cursed) for more than 200 hundred years and kept prisoner in a small town that is destined to never grow. A bitter witch made it so that she could never leave all because she didn't love a man that the witch, Sarah, loved. She has been alone in a town she can never leave and sees everything as bleak. She watches all those that she cares for age and die time after time. Though it is something she has become used to, she doesn't like it.
Colin came into the restaurant that Ellie works and quickly made an impression. Not the best one either. Ellie snapped at him and he goaded her right back. All he wanted was to be a sentry and he ended up with a mate as well. While on a hike, he hurts himself pretty badly and Ellie is the one who found him. From there their connection grows strong. He helps her break her boundaries and shows her that he is there for the long haul. But is Ellie?
This one was by far my favorite, it was really good writing and detailed

This is book #3 in this anthology group/series. all 3 novellas work well alone but are part of the same world as the authors' stories in the prior 2 anthology with Milly's being the one with best read in order. As with the other 2 books, Milly's story was again the weakest one for me -- liked the concept, execution just didn't work for me. I found the heroine to be both foolish and a bit oblivious, also the fact that her 2 best friends were mated to his 2 best friends made the idea that it took so long for him to find her again after their 1st meeting (in the prior story) along with some of the other events to be a bit too much of a stretch. Both of the other stories and good solid characters and story. Eve's story also had a nice added twist (and Stavros' family was fun, I kinda wish there was more time spent with them on the page but understand novella limitations).

The first book (Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais)was alright, it didn’t really stand out to me. Their romance was too quick and pretty superficial for my tastes. And the plot climax was too quickly wrapped up. This one just seemed a bit half-assed in the storyline department.
The second book (Fake Mated to the Wolf by Milly Taiden)had terrible transitions, I could barely follow the dialogue. It was choppy and changed direction mid thought. And the time changes were too abrupt. One minute I was in the present with one character, the next I was somewhere else with no foreshadowing or hint as to why. I can’t believe I finished that one to be honest, I think because it was a short story I just finished it real quick.
The third book (The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress by Kate Baxter) was the best which goes to show that the best is usually saved for last. OMG this one had depth of character, great and intricate background on both MC’s and some serious chemistry. Add to the fact it was a short story and to bring it all together with less words that a full length novel was really impressive. I wouldn’t have minded reading more about this couple.

The series continues!
Well at least for Eve Langlais. Been waiting for Stavros' story. Although I think I need to reread the previous books, no need really as this can stand on it's own. Stavros finds his mate huddled near a dumpster. Becka has been kept prisoner by this crazy guy. And of course, Stavros rescues her, loses her and finally gets her. Classic EL story. Love it.
The series continues too for Milly Taiden. Hmm, not sure if I need a little break from her. It's a classic MT story, big, clueless male finds his mate. I guess I was hoping they'd spend more time figuring out how to save Shawna's mom and siblings since they were in grave danger, and during that time learn about each other. Still, a nice quick read (it seems to be the shortest story).
Hmm, I don't remember if Kate Baxter's story is part of series too....sorry. Hahaha. But I like this one. Though both of them got on my nerves at some point, both being too stubborn to talk to each other. Comes with age I guess. It was a nice journey, quest for both of them, solving Ellie's curse. Would be nice if the witch put up more of a fight than just being a cougar, and talked to them, just to cement her evilness and spitefulness.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this copy!!

Flora Reviews...
In The Mood Fur Love by Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden and Kate Baxter
So what’s this book about?
This book is a collection of three original paranormal romance novellas from international bestselling authors Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden and Kate Baxter featuring various species of shapeshifters including werewolves and bear shifters. I am already a big fan of Kate Baxter’s Last True Vampire series but am beginning to enjoy Milly Taiden’s stories although I have yet to purchase a title from either Eve Langlais or Milly Taiden.
I think that In The Mood Fur Love can be read as a continuation to the authors’ previous collaborations Thanks Fur Last Night and The Big Alpha in Town or be read as a standalone.
Novella 1 Bearing His Touch by Eve Langlais
So, what did I think about this story?
Eve Langlais is still a fairly new-to-me author (I haven’t purchased any of her full length novels); I don’t think that she writes my kind of stories.
The first few chapters are fraught and full of tension and action that I found quite gripping. Our hero, Stavros is an ex-cop bear shifter; the bear and man share the same mind and I enjoyed the humorous inner dialogue going on between the two and I liked the protect women and children mindset that he had. Our heroine, Becka, was not physically strong but I liked that she was resilient and survived suffering physical and mental abuse as a kidnap victim. What I struggled with was that although this is a fictional paranormal romance story, I had to reign in my reluctance to believe that an abused woman would begin to allow or want physical contact so quickly. Having said that, I understand that the story has to progress and we do not have infinite pages in a novella.
Once again, I feel that the prose in this story really lets it down. I was far from impressed with Ms Langlais sentence structure and word choices (there were also a few missing capital letters too) in this novella, however, as I've yet to actually purchase a book written by her, I can't compare an ARC to a finished, published work.
I enjoyed this story; there's just one sex scene but it is very good and titillating, I liked that the conclusion was a twist/shock and although slightly twee I thought it a nice way to end a paranormal romance with the trademark HEA.
My Goodreads Rating For This Novella: 2 Stars (It was OK)
Novella 2 – Fake Mated To The Wolf by Milly Taiden
So, what did I think about this story?
Although I have yet to buy a book written by Milly Taiden, her stories are growing on me. I really liked the concept for this story, I found it very easy to read and the plot had me growling in indignation, chuckling and put a lump in my throat.
The story itself is engaging; a classic paranormal romance with a HEA ending. Ms Taiden has written a couple of plotlines that run alongside the romance aspect - Shawna’s family and the weird mystery nuisance caller – which I enjoyed getting my teeth stuck into as the romance between Hawke and Shawna evolved.
Our heroine, Shawna is certainly a lady with gumption and anyone who has read my reviews before, will know that this is a personality trait that I admire and crave in my leading ladies.
Got to be honest, there were a few little things that I struggled with; firstly, our hero's name - Hawke Hawke (really?!) - it took the shine off wee bit, I've got to confess that the sex talk and descriptions for that final sex scene were a bit disappointing - it all turned me off rather than got me hot – we didn’t really get to the bottom of the mystery calls and I thought that the end felt a bit rushed. As I was reading a pre-proofed arc, I tried to ignore the editing needs and assumed that they would be fixed before publication so won’t detail them here.
Having said all that, I understand that writing a standalone novella is challenging; creating a full, engaging story within so few pages and getting the balance right between building/describing the scenes and moving the plot along and I do think Ms Taiden did a good job here.
My Goodreads Rating For This Novella: 3 Stars (It was Good)
Novella 3 - The Witch, The Werewolf and The Waitress and I by Kate Baxter
So, what did I think about this story?
I am already a fan of Ms Baxter’s books; I find her writing style very easy to read, her plots engaging and her characters intelligently written and full of depth. I was delighted to find the same level of care and attention in this novella.
I enjoyed how we were introduced to our leading hero and heroine, both are keeping secrets from those around them but exhibit personality traits that I love my leading characters to have. Throughout this novella Ms Baxter managed to catch me out, just when I think our hero will be a Neanderthal alpha (yuk) Colin says or does something to melt my heart and wish he was my boyfriend plus, I loved "can't lie to a mate without pain" addition to the traditional werewolf lore that Ms Baxter created here.
Ellie may not be strong physically but I loved her resilience; I suppose if you've already got first-hand experience of the supernatural world, meeting someone who claims to be a paranormal being is easier to believe, so I could appreciate Ellie’s rapid acceptance of Colin being a werewolf. Plus, knowing of Ellie's lonely life to-date, I completely understood her desperation to grab the sexual opportunity when it presents itself, so in this case the insta-lust which I usually find so off-putting was acceptable.
As a self contained standalone story with the added restriction of being a novella rather than a full size novel, I understand that aspects had to be concluded with no loose ends in reduced pages but I am satisfied with how Ms Baxter concluded this novella; the mystery and the romance aspects.
In short, I really enjoyed this story and I was gripped from beginning to end; I laughed, I cried, I held my breath in anxiety and I felt the flutters of arousal.
My Goodreads Rating For This Novella: 4 Stars (I really enjoyed it)
So, basically what I’m saying is...
My Overall Goodreads Rating: 3 Stars
I think that this paranormal romance anthology is GOOD, I enjoyed reading it. Of the three novellas there is only one that was just OK. I felt that this book was a good opportunity to read a new story from a favourite author, having said that, I think I would have felt a bit short-changed if I had actually purchased this for myself (n.b. the current Kindle selling price of £7.59 seems rather expensive to me, I feel £5.99 would be a fairer price).
Due to the graphic violence and sexual content in these novellas – they are definitely steamy and not blood-shy - I’d recommend this book to adults who are not offended by content of this nature who are either existing fans of Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden or Kate Baxter and enjoy relationship and romance stories with oodles of action and passion.
