Roman is a Dragon King who is helping another Dragon King, V, find his sword. They go to his homeland in Romania and stumble across a man who talks to animals. Sabina comes from a long line of gypsies and has the Sight but doesn’t use it. She has been taking care of her brother since their parents died. He is a man with a child’s mind and he talks to the animals.
V doesn’t remember how is sword was stolen but when he touches Camlo, he gets a little bit of his memories back. Now they are off to Iceland, where Roman is from and the group flies there. They come to a big mountain but Roman and Sabina are the ones who have to go hunt for the sword. They are faced with several obstacles but together they can do anything.
I don’t want to give too much away but this is an excellent story. You have dragons, faes, druids, and Others. A dragon who finds his mate and a gypsy who has been alone for way too long. You don’t want to miss this book.

What a wonderful book. The premise is V's sword was stolen from him many centuries ago. He has mostly been sleeping since then, as without his sword he will go mad. Plus his sword is special as it can call the other dragons.
His friend Roman is helping him find it this time. They run across a simple man and his sister and find out they know where his sword is (general vacinity). The two siblings are part gypsy and both have special abilities. I love that Camlo can hear and talk to all animals. They have told him much of what he knows about the sword. Roman is attracted to the sister Sabina and they end up having quite a few adventures. The book moved along quite swiftly and I had trouble putting it down. There are lots of adventures and you learn much about the dragon community. There are more books in this series that I am looking forward to.

Donna Grant's Dragon Kings are a force to be reckoned with. This story is so intricate and captivating that it keeps you glued to the pages. As the story gets more complicated and exciting so does the story or Roman and Sabina. I can't wait for the next book and another glance at the truth behind the curtain.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Love Donna Grants work and can not wait until the next book in the series.
