This was okay. The beginning was good, but then it lagged through most of the rest. I skimmed through a lot, just so I could see how it ended. Monica was half crazy most of the time, and Ryder was a jerk at the beginning. I'm not sure what world they were living in, but a contract signed by an intoxicated person who has no memory of the event, would not hold up in any court. It was too far fetched for me. Eventually they make a pretty good couple, but the drama at the end was one of my pet peeves. Something a conversation could clear up. Monica even has the thought that they were adults and should have the conversation, but then runs anyway. This was a first for me from this author, but I would be willing to give her another read.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Matt did things horrible since he couldn’t be bother in breaking up properly, so she crashes his reception, drunk and in her wedding dress, so Nash comes in to save the day. I love tangled stories like this. I really enjoyed it.

A fabulously fun and flirty contemporary read that will make you laugh out loud, I absolutely adored Heidi Betts’ enchanting romance One Wedding, Two Brides!

Monica Blair thought that she had her future all mapped out: she was going to marry the man of her dreams and spend the rest of her life married to her Prince Charming – until she realised that her fiance was a rat of the highest order who didn’t even have the decency to tell her that he was breaking things off with her and marrying someone else. Monica is absolutely incandescent with rage. She cannot believe that she has been duped like this and vows to get revenge on the man who had humiliated her. But crashing his reception when she is very drunk was not a good idea – especially as she wakes up the next day in bed with a blue-eyed cowboy in the middle of nowhere with a ring on her finger! It was meant to be a very simple plan: get married, get revenge and get her money back. However, little did Monica realise that there was nothing simple or straightforward about her new husband, Ryder Nash!

Marriage had never featured highly on Ryder Nash’s list of priorities – and even if he had ever contemplated the thought of walking down the aisle, he certainly would never have got hitched to a city girl like Monica Blair who sticks out like a sore thumb on his ranch. With her crazy hair and tattoos, Monica is as far removed as it is possible to get from Ryder’s idea of a perfect wife, but when she hatched a plan to expose the ratbag who had married his sister, he found himself with no other choice but to go along with this crazy scheme. There is nothing Ryder would not do for his family – even marrying a woman who is driving him crazy! Tempers flare and sparks soon begin to fly between the two of them and it becomes clear that there is not convenient about their sham marriage!

Giving into temptation and succumbing to the flame of desire that sizzles between them soon proves inevitable when their feelings for one another begin to get very real! Will Ryder and Monica admit the truth about the depth of their feelings for one another? Or will their differences end up driving them apart?

Feel-good romance does not get any better than this! Heidi Betts has written an entertaining and engaging read that will make you laugh out loud. Uplifting, enjoyable and irresistible, One Wedding, Two Brides is a terrific marriage of convenience story with a wonderful heroine you’d love to have as a best friend and a gorgeous Stetson wearing hero who will make you go weak at the knees!

Sassy, sexy and scintillating, One Wedding, Two Brides is a sensational contemporary romance that is a must-read this summer!

Take a surprise learning of Not being the soon to be bride and have the jilted bride come to the reception of the lousy lying guy. Don't forget to drink a bit before going so you have the liquid courage to call him out.
But before you can do what you came to do, the bride's brother takes you aside to A. Save the reception and B. to find out more about the man his sister just married.
Throw in the situation the brother is in... needing funds to save his ranch and match it with an offer of 50 grand to have him marry you for a specific time to see what the hell is the real deal and do a dose of drunken revenge.

How can you turn any of this down...because yes, concern for the sister and protect her... but also this woman offering savior money is smokin hot and very cute.

Let the games begin!

Monica Blair is determined to get revenge on her ex and show him what he's missing out on by marrying someone else. Except embarrassing herself and then waking up the next morning, only to discover she doesn't remember much is trouble with a capital T, especially once she learns she got married and made a deal with Ryder Nash that may be impossible to break. However, the more time Monica spends with her new husband, Ryder, the more she finds herself falling in love. Will Monica and Ryder give their marriage of convenience a chance for real or will they walk away from their shot at happy ever after before they get hurt?

What a fun, amusing and absolutely engaging read Ms. Betts has delivered in this first book of her Fairy Tale Bride series, which had me laughing at the heroine's determination to get revenge on her ex because it's palpable she's lost her mind and needs to go to be taken to a loony bin for her craziness, especially considering how far she's determined to go to get revenge. Is her plan just a little too crazy? Will the hero be willing to help her, especially considering what he could benefit with making the deal Monica proposes?

As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories and everything this couple go through on their journey to happy ever after, as the heroine has managed to get herself in deep with the hero, and if things don't work out then she'll owe him big time. Will things go the way Monica wants? Will she be able to help the hero with his ranch? Moreover, the heroine is resilient, courageous, feisty and I liked how determined she was to get everything she's owed when it comes to her ex because he's taken too much from her. No way can she let him win. While the hero, he's confident, charming, a good brother and I liked that he was willing to help the heroine because there's no way he's going to let her ruin the happiness of someone he cares about. I also liked how far the hero is willing to go to make sure he gets everything out of the bargain he made with the heroine. Then again, it's no hardship for him to spend time with her.

Overall, Ms. Betts has delivered a wonderful read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was strong and present from the moment they meet; the romance was nicely-detailed and had me loving these two together; and the ending left me completely satisfied when it comes to this couple's happy ever after. Luckily, the hero realizes he can't let the heroine go, especially when she's helped him so much. I would recommend One Wedding, Two Brides by Heidi Betts, if you enjoy the opposites attract trope, the enemy to lovers trope, the revenge trope or books by authors Marissa Clarke, Donna Michaels, Christine Phillips and Nina Croft.

One Wedding, Two Brides by Heidi Betts begins with a funny wedding scene that is also sort of sad. I felt bad for Monica even as I was laughing at her antics. Revenge is much better which is what Monica Blair decides to do. Then the book is just a delight. Besides the revenge, mistaken marriage of convenience, it is also a city mouse and country mouse story. All of this is well done, with two likable, especially when sober, characters.

Ryder Nash is a good guy trying to look out for his sister and his ranch. Boy, does that go in directions he never though would happen. Monica Blair, you have to like a woman on a mission and from the first scene, you know that is exactly what she is. Fun story that leaves a smile on your face with you finish the last page.

This book is a first for me by Heidi Betts, and one of the most hilarious rom-coms I've read so far! Wonderfully created, lovable characters! The fact that Ryan actually agrees to marry Monica is unreal, but that makes it part of the fun! Their hair brained plans of revenge put them in very (ahem) "uncomfortable" situations and left me wondering when they would reach their breaking point and give in to the obvious attraction they had for one another. I didn't want to stop reading until I finished this very entertaining, well written book.
I received a copy of this book via Entangled Publishing through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

First read from Heidi Betts, I'll be going back for more!! Loved this little escape from the real world, one sitter for sure! What more could you ask for when reading a book, laughter, love-hate, and realizing you cannot live without each other. Most of this story takes place on a farm, which is the perfect setting, makes the city girl more funny to follow along, mucking the stalls, foaling, and filthy houses!! I could not stop laughing.

One Wedding, Two Brides is a great romance. I loved the plot and the totally opposites couple. A new to me author, but I will definitely be reading more of her books. I highly recommend this book to romance fans.

If you’re looking for a fun, flirty little read, One Wedding, Two Brides might just be what you’re looking for. The novel starts immediately with Monica Blair appearing at the wedding reception of her (ex-?) fiance, trying to tell all of the guests what a louse he is, only to being carried off over the shoulder of cowboy, Ryder Nash. The next thing she knows she’s waking up in a strange place with someone she doesn’t know sleeping next to her. And a ring on her finger.

While I’m not a huge fan of fake marriages/relationships, they always seem a little forced to me, this one works, mainly because of the chemistry between the city girl, Monica, and straight-shooting, Ryder. They are cute and funny and sexy.

While some of the situations might leave you wondering, such as why no one recognizes the woman who was drunk and showed up at Ryder’s sister’s wedding reception or occurrences with Monica’s ex-, Matt, the rest of it is pure rom-com fun, perfect for a happy quick read.

I haven’t read Heidi Betts before, but I will certainly be looking for more of her novels in the future.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received an advanced copy of One Wedding, Two Brides for an honest review. I enjoyed this novel so much. It’s funny, witty and entertaining. Ryder and Monica couldn’t be more seemingly different. Yet their drive and passion makes their chemistry unavoidable and their connection strong. This is the first novel I’ve read of Heidi Betts and I can say I am a new fan. I am hoping for more stories about these Fairytales Brides.

Monica shows up in her wedding dress at her ex-fiance's wedding to his new bride. By the next day, she's married to that bride's brother
Ryder and has promised to help him if he helps her get revenge.

A crazy beginning with some funny moments, but it did feel weird that Ryder would go along with Monica's plan when she was clearly intoxicated and not able to make a clear decision. This is addressed somewhat, but I still think this felt off.

The plot also felt slightly uneven to me. There were parts I really enjoyed, but others that felt rushed.

A decent read, and I enjoyed the fairytale references, but I just didn't connect with it.

It's been a while since I've read a book by Heidi Betts so I was so glad when I saw that she had a new book out.

I didn't read the blurb because I knew since it was by her I was going to read it but you can sort of figure some of the plot by the title. I knew going in that there was going to some upset, a wedding, any more then one bride.

I thought...this is going to be fun!

And it was. I ended up really enjoying the story. Right away I liked both Ryder and Monica. How could you not like him when he not only stopped a crazy woman from ruining his baby sisters wedding any more then what happened and then take care of the crazy woman.

A great guy right? I thought that too until he kept going on and on about the money promised to him. Of course without him doing that the book wouldn't have turned out the way it did but at times he bugged me about it.

Not to worry I did get over it and moved on. I love how these two worked together to bring down her ex all the while falling in love and not even knowing it. With all the Hallmark Christmas movies going on right now this ones romantic plot reminded me of the movies I was watching. This would make a perfect Hallmark movie. So much fun!

If you haven't yet tried Heidi Betts this is perfect time too. One Wedding, Two Brides is a wonderful story of romance and opening your eyes and seeing what's in front of you!

one wedding, two brides is a laugh-out-loud style rom-com. monica blair is the kind of heroine who is her own kind of crazy. and when she meets up with ryder nash, somehow he gets swept up in her plans even as he tells her she's off her rocker.

but she promises money, and that's the one thing he needs to get his ranch back in the black. he wants to set up an equine therapy for children, and the equipment is expensive and he's already in debt up to his eyeballs. but the money she promises was already stolen by her no-good ex-fiancé, a.k.a., the jerk who married ryder's sister.

monica has a plan to get the money back and ryder is desperate enough to go along with it. but he's not letting monica out of his sight, so he holds her to the marriage vows they spoke hours after meeting each other.

the more time they spend together, the more they become part of each other's lives. and soon the promise of money isn't the only thing holding them together. for all the crazy, hilariously inauspicious start, the way ryder and monica come together is emotional and sweet. and i really enjoyed this story.

**one wedding, two brides will publish on july 23, 2018. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/entangled publishing (amara) in exchange for my honest review.

Light humorous romance

This was a cute book, an easy read that at times made me smile. Unfortunately at other times I sort of scratched my head thinking "what" ?!? I don't want to drop any spoilers but there were just some things that didn't make sense to me which at times made getting through the book a challange.

I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

Totally hilarious! Ryder and Monica are a comical couple. The added drama of equating everything in her life to fairytale or old tv show adds layers and layers to the drama and hilarity. The author does a super job of describing her drunken mishaps and all the tantrums she throws. Stumpy, for the name of the colt was the icing on the cake for me.

One Wedding, Two Brides by Heidi Betts
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received One Wedding, Two Brides by Heidi Betts from Netgalley. This has no impact on my review, my thoughts are my own. I was in the mood for some wedding romance books and I was glad I heard about One Wedding, Two Brides by Heidi Betts through another blogger friend.

One Wedding, Two Brides by Heidi Betts was the first in her Fairy Tale Bride series. Monica Blair tries to crash her ex fiance’s wedding reception due to circumstances that drove her to drink. The bride’s brother ended up carrying her out and she makes a deal with him to get married. I don’t want to spoil too much, but the book plot was clever and witty. I liked it for the most part, though I will admit I did not like Ryder Nash at first because of how he was towards Monica. He grew on me throughout the book though that was one of the main things I had against the book.

One Wedding, Two Brides was a really cute book and I really liked how everything wrapped up well in the end of it. It was fast paced. I was able to read it within three days. If you are looking for a wedding romance book, this is a really cute read! I also really liked the epilogue. Thank you Netgalley and publishers for giving me the chance to read this!

DNF @ 41%. I'm all about suspension of disbelief. I read YA, PNR, UF, all of which require a healthy dose of it. But the, thing is, I believe in the world and the characters. This book gave me none of that. She was TSTL. And honestly, he wasn't much better. The set up was unbelievable. I just couldn't bring myself to care about any of it.

Sweet, silly and sexy this story hits all the right notes. Jilted bride, country mouse/city mouse fake husband and still there are surprises. I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic romp.

Loved this book! It is laugh out loud funny, emotional, and just plain entertaining. Nothing deep or angsty. Just lighthearted and filled with humor through witty banter and hilarious situations.

When Monica Blair reads about her fiance's upcoming nuptials to a woman who is not her she decides a little trip is in order. Showing up at his wedding in her own gown and more than slightly tipsy may not have been the best of plans but that's the least of her worries. The tall hunk of a cowboy who she apparently married during a trip to Vegas definitely takes top billing. No problem, a quick annulment should fix that. Ryder Nash, her ummm husband, isn't up for that. They have a deal and he plans on holding her to it. Now she's a city girl stuck on a ranch and incredibly attracted to her husband. This is not good!

I highly recommend this one.
