Skye lives in Savannah and reads palms and tarot cards. She has always been interested in pirates and their stories. She goes on tour of the Sea Dog, a pirate ship that sailed in the 1700’s. She goes to a section that is for employees only and is gazing in the river and thinking about her life. She just found out her fiancée was lying, cheating and stealing from her. She’s about to throw her engagement ring into the water when a tall shadow falls over her.
Colton is owner of the Sea Dog and tells Skye she must return to the tour group. When Colton gets a good look at her, he remembers a witch telling him a woman with violet eyes will be the beginning and the ending of his life. Now Colton is a 250 year old pirate. Him and his crew drunk from a cup and have stayed the same age ever since. But now he’s not healing like he’s supposed to and neither is his crew. They had drunk out of a cup and one of the crew has hidden it for two hundred years but when he went to check on it it was gone.
Colton has fallen for Skye and decides to tell her the truth. Will she believe him or will he lose his heart to the only woman he’s loved? Can the pirates locate the cup so the ones who want to drink from it can?
Very short with a little cliffhanger. Sexy pirates and a gorgeous psychic. Some steamy sex and stories hundred of years old. First time reading this author and I really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
