Michael needed a date . He was the founder and CEO of Together,Com- the largest and most successful matchmaking website in the world. It shouldn’t be hard to get a date. But tonight everything seemed to be against him. He had employee issues to deal with. One employee posted nude pictures of himself on the website when he was drunk which was against the websites terns as well as breaking company policy. Then he had to deal with his new intern. Today Together had a list of over a billion users. Michael knew what he wanted -Fun, Freedom, and Sex. Michael wasn’t looking for long term, not after being burned by Mindy who he had loved and wanted to have a family with and she had left him at the altar. Besides he worked eighty hours a week who would put up with that, work always came first. Devas Art Foundation was having its annual gala on Valentines Day. Michael was invited because he was one of the biggest donors and his company headquarters was located next to the Institutes Administrative Offices. Michael needed a date for this. The Center provided art classes for children and adults as well as supplies low income people can really benefit from the program and it can keep kids off the street, Michael’s grandmother was his secretary but she was completely professional while at work. Michael took his grandmother’s advice and made a fake profile after looking through a lot of female profiles Michael found a woman he was interested in -Sophia. Then Michael got a call that Mindy would be at the Gala this year. Sophia had been a member of Together .com for a little over three months. She was tired of working non-stop and not having any friends to talk to, let alone get together. Companionship was the main reason Sophia had created a profile on the site. This date with Clint who was actually Michael was exactly what Sophia needed. -a night out with no strings attached. Sophia liked to paint but hadn’t in quite a while and her heart ached at the loss. Having only enough money to get by on, her joy while painting never seem to fit in her budget. Sophia’s grandma-Eleanor had raised her as Sophia’s mother had been pretty much absent from her life. Sophia’s grandmother was her rock. But Eleanor was old now and not healthy. Sophia had no problem taking care of her grandma. Sophia dropped out of college and worked full time as a stripper still there wasn’t enough financially but Sophie did take one class toward her nursing degree every semester she wasn’t giving that up. Sophie loved her grandma so much her heart hurt. Sophie felt many things when Michael showed up : excitement, shock, and attraction- a strong attraction and the unexplainable pull between Sophia and Michael. Even though she was a stripper Sophia was also a virgin at twenty four.
I loved this book and of course the Cinderella aspect to it. I felt bad for Sophia when her grandmother died that was her rock had been all her life. I loved Michael and Sophia together and how they interacted. I didn’t blame Sophie for not telling Michael what she did for a living she didn’t believe they were really going anywhere and he acted like an ass like most men would even though Sophie wasn’t her job she had to support her grandmother and herself the best she could. This was a sweet emotional easy story to read and I loved it. I really hated Mindy and why did she still have any control or anything where Michael was concerned after what she had done to Michale already? I loved how Sophie stood by her grandmother. I choked up at times while reading this and at other times I chuckled. I loved the plot and pace. I loved the character sand the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.

3 Stars= An interesting idea... Has been done before but i am always up for this troupe. The guy was not the easiest to like. She had a sick granny and nursing tuition to pay so she had a job many would frown on. These two meet over an on line dating site He owns. He needs a date and uses a pretend name to make sure he isn't stuck with someone who would want him for his cash.

She has a big heart.. and he realizes after awhile, he needs her.

First of all let me start out by saying this has one of the most unbelievable story line and yet, i kinda loved it ! Michael is your typical young billionaire who is quite adverse to dating...needing a date for an important fundraiser he makes a fake profile on his match making site and meets Sophia. Sophia is everything Michael is not...she is empathetic, a career and a women that will go to great odds for the people she cares about and Michael starts to fall head over heels for her....
However, issues arise when Michael finds out Sophia is a stripper.

Predictable romance

With all the Billionaire books out today the writer really needs to create a storyline that really stands out from the rest. Unfortunately this book just didn't have it. It wasn't a bad read just not unique.
I received an advance reader copy from Nergalley.

CEO and creator of popular dating app, Michael, needs a date so he creates a fake profile and name and finds his own perfect match in Sophia. Sophia, however, feels out of her depths in Michaels world so when his ex-fiancé tries to rub her new engagement in Michaels face Sophia blurts our that they are engaged too. The two then decide to pretend they are engaged for 1 month.

This was a great plot set up, but the story seemed to lose focus somewhere along the way. The characters were apart more than together. We got too much backstory and rehashing of thoughts and not enough of our couple on the page. It’s like their falling in Love was hearsay. This one missed the mark for me, Because I wanted to see more of them as a couple

*Thank you yo Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book. All opinions are honest and my own.*

This book just didn't have a believable romance for me. Michael and Sophia just didn't have "the spark" for me. It was too neat and easy for me. Sure they experienced problems but the resolutions of those problems just wasn't believeable.

Pretty good. Few hot spots and yumminess.

I have read a lot of millionaire/billionaire stories over the years. They’re like a classic tried-and-true and they’re great for a never fail HEA.

This story is a familiar plot and the author did a great job developing story. Even adding the evil Ex was a perfect twist.

But I had a hard time with the flow and the wording in some of the sections. The romantic connection was just off a little bit and just didn’t grab me for the all in.

I really enjoyed the male lead character, Michael, but Sophia left me lagging. Maybe I’m just over the whole b(m)illionaire and the virgin storyline. No matter the surrounding story, the basic plot is the same.

One thing the author did very well was included a decent heat factor when the two finally got together. Michael is a sweetie and has a certain level of yumm.

Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable story with a classic theme.

A bit of Pretty Woman and a bit of cliche. That pretty much sums up the story of Michael Vilander (CEO of Together.com, a selfmade billionaire company) and Sophia Baldwin (orphan, living with her grandmother and stripping for a living).
When Michael is in need of a date for a charity gala, his secretary aka grandmother advises him to make an account on his new website. Then he finds Sophia and she is wonderful. But when Michael's ex confronts them, Sophia lies and tells her they are engaged. So, now they have to fake for another month at least that they are a couple. How hard can it be?
Just until Michael finds out, that his fake fiancée is a stripper... Then we have nothing but trouble... Short, entertaining, but not very original. Three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Quick and fun read. I'm curious about the other books in the series!

Billionaire CEO Michael Vilander needed just one date. Creating a fake profile on his own matchmaking website may not have been his brightest move. But then Sophia Baldwin’s arresting face pops up on his CHAT NOW feature. Not only is she gorgeous, but after spending half the night exchanging messages with her, he finds her to be naive, innocent and way too sexy.

I admit, I was pretty peeved by this. I've read my fair share of new adult books in the past years and I fairly quickly realized that there is a fine line between sarcasm and being a plain jerk, an even bigger line between being loyal and possessive - and Michael crossed both of those lines multiple times. It's always difficult to deal with an ex, but holy moly, did he have to treat Sophia (the girl he pretends he's engaged to) like property, like a trophy the entire time, too? And what's worse, Sophia just--let him? Not to mention the Mary Sue character she portrayed - a virgin that is a stripper - had me rolling my eyes a lot, because it wasn't executed well. Not to mention the strong resemblance to Pretty Woman. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it did make me compare the two often, and not in a good light.

I don't know, I was just underwhelmed by this book, and didn't like Michael at all. I never felt truly connected to Sophia, either, which was a shame.

Extremely predictable but really cute and entertaining. Would make a really great summer, by the pool, read.

Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for letting me read Nothing but trouble by Ashley Bostock. Here is my honest review, all opinions are my own!

My first time reading that author. What caught my eye was the cover.

He's rich, he's hot... they're different... Nothing new here.

I didn't hate that book but I didn't love it either, it was okay. I wasn't bad but just not my favorite! Not realistic.

What in the heck? What? This book was ridiculous. These two did not belong together and were weak. I hate heroines like this one, she needed self respect. She allowed Michael to treat crappy and then she is the one after him..huh I wanted to knock her up on the side of the head to wake up. Then there is Michael, he acts like he is so bad but lets his past dictate him, his ex ruined him yet he is still panting for her..Horrible..Yeah I wont read the rest. I

a short read - rich man and a pretty girl, from completely different backgrounds. Given he researched her enough before their first date to know her dress and shoe size I'm suprrised he didn't gheck out what she did for a living, espeically as it turns out later in the book that he knew the guy who owned the bar!

Michael needs to work on his woo, “how about we schedule in times we can see each other every week for the press’s sake? I’m pretty sure I can pencil you in at least a few times next week.” Michael's thoughts tend to be cavemanish at times, "...was exceptionally happy to have her, and he was keeping her. All his. He was going to do whatever the hell he needed to keep her. With him. For as long as he could have her. As long as she’d let him..." I liked this book, Michael was an okay man he just really needed to trust his instincts and not gossup from others.
