I am surprised that Sophia put up with Michael. The way that he let his ex ruin what they had together would have made me block his number not try to contact him over and over again like she did. I thought that Sophia was probably too good for Michael. Just because you have money does not make you a good person. Luckily Michael learns this and makes it right with Sophia.

I enjoyed this book, but felt a bit like I was reading a Pretty Woman spin off. Michael is the wealthy businessman that doesn't trust women (or kiss on the lips), even since his fiance left him at the alter. Sophia is the stripper barely making ends meet. Michael's matchmaking site connects them and both are pleased. From there, pretty much all the best elements of Pretty Woman are woven into the story. Despite this, I still thoroughly enjoyed the book because of the author's way to telling the story. If you enjoy the genre, put this on your TBR list. It's a perfect read for a quiet afternoon or at the beach.

This book, in theory, sounded good. When I started reading it, it quickly went south for me. There was so many weird things I couldn't over look. So many cliche storylines in this one. Stripper and Billionaire? Not what I was looking for.....

I hate it when I request an <i>ARC</i> based on the blurb, thinking I'll love the book so much, but end up so disappointed. Then I feel really guilty, feeling bad thinking about the author, having to read a review like the one I'm going to write.

So, we have a self made billionaire (owner of a website like match.com or something) and a twenty-four year old lady. <spoiler>She's a stripper and a virgin, saving money for her nursing school and taking care of her sick grandma.</spoiler>
He needed a date for a fancy gala, so he created a profile on his own matchmaking website and found Sophie. If you read the blurb, you'll get that they decide to be in a fake engagement for a month.
This is the story. Now, here are my thoughts.

I would have love the story, if the hero wasn't so weak. He acts like this alpha dirty-talking billionaire CEO, when he's in fact insecure (he thinks all women are after his money), severely damaged by his ex-fiancee who left him at the altar and who <b>doesn't kiss on the mouth.</b> Pretty Woman much?
I simply hated all the unnecessary drama, the lack of development in their relationship (everyone expects a fake relationship to turn into something real, but make me believe it!) and the fact that he didn't treat our heroine well, but she got aroused by him looking her way or him getting hard when arguing with his horrible ex. <i>WTF, dude? Remember she broke your heart?</i>
And don't get me started on the last chapter! I kinda liked the heroine up to that point, but she ruined everything for me with her "self-awarded punishment".

That's about it. Again, I feel really bad about all this, but I couldn't find anything enjoyable about this book. I would have loved to give it at least 3★.

Nothing But Trouble by Ashley Bostock is the first book in the Irresistible Billionaires series. This is the story of Michael Vilander and Sophia Baldwin.
Michael is a rich self made man who built up a dating site when he was younger that is now very successful. When he needs a date to a Ball where he had donated money to a Arts Foundation his secretary/Grandmother told him to use his own site. Michael had once been engaged but was left at the alter buy a women who was selfish and looking for the next big thing/relationship. So his world with women had become pretty jaded and just quick encounters. So when he started talking to Sophia on his dating site he made sure she knew it was for one night with nothing else. Sophia is working hard to take care of her grandmother and earn money for college to become a nurse. But she never has time for friends or relationships so she had been ghosting around the dating site when Michael's profile appeared. There one date lead Sophia to defend him against his awful ex that showed up and was trying to fling her new engagement at him. So Sophia fired back and now they are having to be a pretend couple for a month. But things start out smooth but feelings come into play and Sophia's job becomes a issue.
Overall good read...I read it til the end in one sitting.

This is Michael and Sophia book, Michael is a Hotshot billionaire CEO owner of a popular dating website, Sophie is a 24 year old barely making ends meet doing what she can to care for her sick grandma and trying to go to college to be a nurse. Michael puts up a fake profile on his dating site because he needs a date to a big fancy affair that he just knows his witch of an ex fiance is going to be at! Sophia answers him and that's where the story begins! It's definitely a sweet, funny, hot, light read that I really enjoyed! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
