This was almost a DNF for me based solely on the fact that I didn't realize it was a sequel. Like others have said, it was hard to keep track of characters and relationships without having read the first installment in the series. However, other than that it was an easy read and I loved O'Leary's writing style that made me feel like I was right there in the story. Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!

This was cute! I didn't realize that it was sequel until after I had begun the story but that didn't really take anything away from the story. I enjoyed the fun settings that Maddy and Leanne traveled too. I think I will go back and read the first book to see how their story began.

I found myself losing interest very early on in the book with trying to keep track of all the different characters and who was in a relationship with who. The end almost seemed like this was a high schoolers day dream of what romance is.

The perfect antidote to a rainy winter day- this romantic comedy ticks lots of boxes for me. I recommend that you read The Road Trip first, to get the full picture. Slow to pick up at first, but soon I was sailing with Maddy and Leanne in the sunshine around the idyllic Dalmatian Islands.
Thank you, NetGalley, for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

When I picked up this novel, I didn't realise that it was the second book in a series. My review may be lower than others because I felt as though I didn't fully connect with the characters, which I possibly could have done more having read the first in the series.

The front cover has a pretty bold claim - laugh out loud funny. I think I may have giggled once or twice but that's about as far as it went. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case and I don't like claims that books can't live up to.

The book has gorgeous descriptions and visits some fantastic places in the Med and Adriatic Sea. I think that's what helped me to carry on reading as I may have struggled at times otherwise. It was a very cliched fall in love with the gorgeous Italian hunk at points but did have a redeeming twist towards the end of the book.

It was a light-hearted read but there's so many different relationships that keep happening it's hard to keep track at times. I loved the travelling and the blogging aspect of the story and I wish I'd read the previous book beforehand - I may have appreciated this more.

This book was an absolute delight to read. I was engrossed in it right from the start. Loved reading about Maddy and Leanne on their adventures. This is a perfect book for a holiday read.

I thought the characters in this were a bit flaky - couldn’t really care what happened to them, but the book seemed to finish nowhere- presumably to be continued in another story. Waste of time.

This was a nice easy read though I did find some of the relationship complications to be a little more complicated than they needed to be. I liked the characters though one of the main characters is definitely more likeable than the other. Overall a good easy read but quite forgettable.

The second book of the Maddy and Leanne series starts as the duo plus dog Bridget arrive in Italy. This title was referred to as hilarious. It was not. It was funny at times, but nothing made me laugh out loud. The subplot with one of the characters husband was completely ridiculous. Beautiful scenery, lots of food and some very silly moments carry us through a light romance on a yacht trip through the Mediterranean.

I did enjoy reading this book, but felt that I was missing some of the story because I haven't read the first book in the series.

Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. What an hilarious read. Have not read any books by this author before and did not know the backgrounds of Leanne and Maddy but still enjoyed it.

A nice holiday read. I hadn't realized this was the second installment of the ladies adventure but it still worked as a standalone book.

This is a follow on from The Road Trip and it started off well. Have to admit to starting to lose interest with all the different relationships going on between the different characters. Saying that it was a nice light read - perfect for a holiday.

This is the conclusion to Susanne O’Leary’s book, “The Road Trip”. I highly recommend reading the books in order. I throughly enjoyed this book. The story is more than just two teachers, Maddy and Leanne adventures traveling from Ireland, through U.K., Europe to Italy and the Adriatic Sea, after winning big on a group lottery ticket. Lots of sightseeing, food, wine, friends, of course love and decisions on what comes next in life. Great summer read. Take out your maps and pens to make a list of your bucket list.

Had not read this author's previous title 'The Road Trip', but this did not defer from my enjoyment of this novel. It was great to share Leanne & Maddy's adventures across Italy & Croatia after escaping their humdrum teaching lives following alucky win on the lottery - something that we all dream about. Obviously there is lots of fun to be had along the way, including a few handsome men! It also made the beauty of Italy & Croatia come across to the reader, wanting you to head there for an adventure.

The story starts out in the middle of a trip of a lifetime for Leanne and Maddy. Winning a lottery has so much excitement, and these ladies are doing it up in style in their red convertible. It's not really clear why they embarked on this journey, nor what they hope to have happen. We also enter mid-way into an infatuation by Leanne toward Carlos. By chapter 10, I'm still waiting for any real drama to enfold, even though we have a glimpse of a prior relationship between Carlos and Lucilla.. Claudia has entered the picture as a secondary character, but I find myself wishing this book was about her, and the cause of her fearful behaviors. She is the most mysterious of the characters, and the intrigue for me, centers around her. Unfortunately, this book is not about her. I made it 36% of the way through the book, but I find myself thinking about all of the other books in my "To Be Read" pile, and gravitating away... I'm sorry, I just couldn't do it.

This is a very nice sequel to the first book in this series "The Road Trip". This time, Leanne and Maddy are visiting a bit of Italy and then take a boat with some friends they made on their trip and visit the Dalmatians islands. I really loved this second part. I loved the setting, it was really nice to read it during the summer time because this is really summery. Also this book (as well as the first part) is full of events, suspense, encounters with interesting persons, visits of beautiful places and also full of romance and friendship. I can't wait to read the next book of Susanne O'Leary!
