Written as a devotional, A Chronological Tour Through is great to understand the Bible in when events take place. It is meant to be read daily and delve into the main theme of books and scriptures. I used it as a study guide. I was able to find the verses I wanted to study and understand them more. I enjoyed this book. Insightful and educational. I enjoy this book.

This is such a valuable book, it presents an overview of the whole bible in chronological order. You can read it as a whole or use it as a daily study as it is split into 365 studies and is grouped into nine eras of time:

Era 1: Beginnings (the undated past–1800 BC)
Era 2: The Birth of Israel (1800–1406 BC)
Era 3: Possessing the Promised Land (1406–1050 BC)
Era 4: The United Monarchy (1050–930 BC)
Era 5: The Kingdom Divided (930–586 BC)
Era 6: Living in Exile (586–538 BC)
Era 7: The Return from Exile (538–6 BC)
Era 8: The Coming of Jesus Christ (6 BC–AD 30)
Era 9: The Early Church (AD 30–95)

Each daily bible study includes : A Key Concept, The Big Concept, A Transformational Truth, A Verse for Meditation and A Question to Ponder. Ron Rhodes is a great bible scholar and this is another excellent handbook. I received a free copy of this book from Harvest House Publishing in exchange for an honest review. A favourable review was not required and all opinions expressed here are my own.
