Milan

Parker and Bo go to Milan to help women strut their stuff on the runway. They've been hired to help boost the women's confidence and deal with a semi difficult designer. I loved the fact that the women they were dealing with were every day women. The guys needed to approach things a bit differently and thankfully they know to think out of the box, which I enjoyed immensely.

Parker and Skye are still going strong and OMG I just love their relationship so much. Doing the long distance thing isn't easy, but they are making it work they best they can.

San Francisco

Oh Royce. I know you want to settle down, but getting involved with a client is not your style. You're not Parker. (What? It's true!) But that doesn't mean you won't try. *sigh*

This particular client is looking for love and has enlisted International Guy to help her find the perfect man. Parker and Royce go to San Francisco to help her find that man and while Royce thinks that he is the man for her, Parker knows that it is the last person the client thinks it is.

This story was interesting because it gave us lots of Parker and Royce time. Unfortunately, not all of it was them getting along and that was so interesting to me. Parker might be arrogant and think he knows everything, but sometimes he just SO RIGHT. Damn him!

Montreal

At the beginning of this story we have an extremely heartbroken Parker and he is looking to take his mind off things, so he takes a job helping a business woman find whoever is leaking information to her competitors. The client is a no holds barred software designer who, once she meets Parker, wants more than to find out who is betraying her.

We not only get all three guys again (yay!), but even Wendy is getting in on the fun this time. I loved this story because it really highlights just how much of a family everyone is. They're not only there to support Parker, but to also tell him when he needs to get his head out of his ass.

But let me tell you, this one ends on a cliffhanger and OMG THINGS BETTER WORK OUT FOR THE BEST OR ELSE I WILL BE VERY UPSET.

With International Guy Vol 2, we follow Parker, Royce and Bo from a fashion show gig in Milan to a cyber investigation in Montreal, with an matchmaking interlude in San Francisco. Yes, there is a lot going in in this volume as the lines between work life and personal life continue to blur.

Of this grouping, the story line for Milan is definitely my favorite. The principles of IG are exercised as Parker helps a fashion designer with the models for his lingerie line. Here Parker shows us why his role as the Dream maker at International Guy stands out. I love that he's all about boosting a woman's confidence by pointing out the positives and Carlan so cleverly gives Parker the chops to design a fashion show with props to build on that vibe.

Mission accomplished Parker jets off to San Francisco, with partner Royce stepping off the plane and to the plate as IG's resident matchmaker. What I loved about this story was the connection between client Rochelle and Royce and how this tested Parker's mindset. Now I love Parker but he's a bit of a hypocrite and Royce calls him out on it. Royce is a big boy, he knows what he's doing. Ultimately Rochelle's request for IGs to find her life partner is made better by Royce's understanding of her "needs".

Next, we follow the whole IG crew to Montreal where software entrepreneurs Alexis Stanton and her brother Kidd find their business under siege. The team comes up with a great plan to smoke out the mole who is handing over company secrets to the competitors. While this is in the works Parker is in the midst of a breakdown. That's all I can call it. All rational thought is out the window as his newly found personal love life unravels. The drama is HIGH in this part of the story and at times Parkers' lack of action unnerved me. He creates his own misery and struggles to find footing. I'll admit he exhausted me, but obviously not in the way he normally exhausts his women.

This volume builds up the relationships between the IG staff and the work they do. I look forward to the next group of cities and seeing the team together again. 4 stars.

This is the second volume in the International Series and just shows how great the author is at transforming a new series into a stellar best seller. I have enjoyed this immensely and seeing each little series turned into a volume. I will wind up getting the Paperback version of this one. I'm hoping that she continues this even through this year and just makes it a long series like the yoga series. I found the characters engaging, funny, and multi-dimensional. I can't wait for the next one.

I received an ARC at no cost from the author or NetGalley.

I started reading this book but never finished as I didn't really like the main chracter so found it difficult to be interested in what actually happened in the book. Not for me sorry

This installment of the International Guy series was E*P*I*C. We follow our dream team to visit clients Milan, San Francisco & Montreal in this volume.

Please note it is *NOT* my intention to have any type of spoilers- and I can’t stress enough you NEED to jump on this journey and own your truth. These do need to be read in order to have context on where the journey begins
.
The relationship between Pretty boy Parker and miss Peaches Skyler herself really hits the ground running early on. There are paparazzi, compromising photos, overhead phone conversations, bodyguards, agents, and assistants all in the mix. There is a healthy dose of jealousy, possessiveness, ex’s, and media ready to ruin them before they even really get to get going. I love the authenticity Audrey uses when writing Skylers character. A true Hollywood actress, who is humanly and beautifully flawed.

There are definitely “cliffhangers” in the sense that not all is *well* when the novella ends, however there are still 6 novellas/2 volume’s left to release– DO NOT let that discourage you!!!

In Milan, Parker & Bo are assisting on a fashion campaign, in San Francisco, Royce and Parker do some love making, and Montreal is full on corporate espionage! Each installment is uniquely brilliant, and I can’t wait to see where our journey leads us next

Milan – Parker and Bo’s next assignment is a fashion show in Milan where they help show the models, who are ordinary woman who don’t always feel comfortable in what they view as their imperfect bodies that everyone is beautiful in their own way. The relationship between Parker and Sky continues to heat up but it isn’t without its difficulties.

San Francisco – Parker and Royce visit the City by The Bay to help their client Rochelle find her perfect mate. Royce thinks that he might be the perfect choice for her but is not so sure? When trouble arises between Parker and Skyler will they be able to find their way back to each other.

Montreal – The team is off to Montreal to help Alexis find out who is betraying her and her company. Their investigation is full of twists and suspense. When Parker and Skyler’s relationship is tested will Parker be able to resist temptation?

I can’t wait to see what adventures the International Guys get up to next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Every novella and volume of this series keeps getting better! From learning to accept who you are and loving your body in Milan to appreciating what's in front of you in San Francisco, every city, every novella explores a new concept. Ultimately, Parker, Bo and Ryce are searching for love in their own lives.

I like that now we're getting deeper into the story of these 3 brothers-from-another-mother and their families, the families they make for themselves. Their community keeps them strong through the ups and down of love, their jobs, and everything that gets in their way.

International Guy is a whirl wind journey that I can't wait to see where it takes us. The underlying and continuous story of Skyler and Parker pulls at my heartstrings and give me all the swoons. Just when I think I can put my kindle down for the night, I'm pulled right back in for another few hours of fun!

This is the second book/volume 2 I have read from Audrey Carlan. I really like Bo, Royce and Parker. They make up the International Guy Inc company. I thought it was going to be different then what I had expected after reading the second novella and then the third. In this volume it’s Milan, San Francisco and Montreal. I was very surprised how the series is shaping up. I was hoping Parker would find the love of his life and it’s looking like one day he might settle down. I am hoping that the rest of the characters in the books find happy endings too. I can’t wait to read more in the series. You have everything in this series funny lines, drama, exciting cities, romance and just plain old fun. The author makes you think that you are there in each city enjoying the scenery she paints you. If you want to get away from the real world for a few hours get a comfy couch a glass of wine and let your imagination take you away to the world of International Guy Inc.

Once again, I loved everything about these stories! Milan, San Francisco and Montreal all brought something unique and different to the table and I enjoyed every single moment!

I really feel that the Milan story gives so much more! It’s the story of learning how to accept yourself and truly love yourself for who you are, no matter what your size ;)

San Francisco finally gives us Royce and a look into the relationship between Parker and Royce. While expecting to be doing some matchmaking, this case turns into something they didn’t expect all the while Parker is dealing with issues that left me in tears at the end.

Montreal was my favorite of the three! There are so many emotions because of what happens a the end of San Francisco but I have a feeling there is so much more to come in London!

Once again, Audrey Carlan truly held me captive during these three stories! Filled with fun, sexiness and so many emotions, I truly enjoyed every city and each journey I went along on!

Omg this book is amazing. I love the first one and to read this one is just as good if not more. I can’t wait to read the next in this series. This is a must read.

I should get used to not being surprised at how well Audrey crafts a story! She continues to write these characters that you cannot help but want to get to know them more.

Parker Ellis is back for more in International Guy Vol. 2 and we get to see him travel to Milan, San Francisco, and Montreal this time.

Milan - T-Bone - Oh what a bonehead! He is introducing a new inclusive line of lingerie for every woman and has unfortunately caused some discord with his behavior. Parker is able to go in and realizes that these "everyday" women are uncomfortable and do not have the confidence to pull off the moves that the designer is asking for. Parker helps the women, one by one, to "Embrace your sexy", and help T-Bone have a successful show.

While in Milan, we also get to see Parker and Skyler find their way through misunderstandings and issues from prior relationships. Skyler may have all of the money in the world and fame, but all she is wanting is to spend time with Parker and really see if they have what it takes to make their relationship work.

San Francisco - Rochelle is a powerhouse of a business woman looking for her perfect match and thinks that IG are just the guys to help her find him. Even on the plane flying out with Royce and Parker, I knew this would be a great story with some roller coaster action. Rochelle is everything you want to see in a female character - successful, strong-willed, quick witted, and confident. Royce is immediately enamored with Rochelle, but Parker has some reservations for his friend and that causes some tension between the guys.

While in San Fran, Skyler and Parker hit a major roadblock and left me very worried for them and their relationship. We all know that long distance creates issues that traditional relationships don't always have, but can these two overcome this?

Montreal - Alexis (Lexie) - Lexie hires IG in the hopes that they can help her track down who is sharing trade secrets from within her company. Wendy gets to help out this time and use her computer know-how! Parker is still reeling from everything that happened with Skyler and is at a loss with their relationship. I felt completely immersed in what was going on and was gripping my kindle willing myself to read faster to know how this would turn out.

I cannot wait for IG Vol. 3!

Oh boy! I am seriously LOVING this series! Audrey Carlan has sucked me in BIG STYLE!!

Volume 2 contains the next 3 destinations in the series. (NB - International Guy is also available as 12 individual books). And I would highly recommend reading them in order!

Here's a brief run down:-

First up – Milan. The client – T-Bone. He's one of the top new fashion designers of the year and needs International Guy's help with giving his amateur models the confidence they need to work the runway.

Next up – San Francisco. Client – Rochelle Renner. She's on the hunt for a husband, and needs help with selecting the lucky candidate!

This then brings us on to Montreal. Client – Alexis Stanton - CEO of a cyber tech company who needs help to discover which one of her employees is stealing trade secrets and selling them to her competitors.

Montreal was my fave out of the three. I adore Wendy, (International Guy's Assistant), so was pleased to see her getting stuck in!

Thoroughly enjoyed this volume, and would highly recommend. I desperately want to know what happens next!

This book was yet another wild ride! In this volume, the author manages to step up the drama and love. The story is full of twists and turns, many of them you can't even see them coming until they slap you in the face! I would love to see more from Bo and Royce. At times I felt like Parker's POV didn't gmake their characters justice. I hope we get more of them in the next books!!

Even though I enjoyed Milan and San Francisco, Montreal is definitely my favorite of the three! A real roller coaster ride that kept me at the edge of my seat till the last page!

I absolutely loved Volume two!
MILAN

International Guy is bursting with so much emotion in this installment and I could NOT stop reading. Milan is the fashion capital and we see a lot of different emotions. Parker and Bo are off to Milan to help a fashion designer teach everyday woman how to find their beauty. They want to empower women of all shapes and sizes. We see these women dealing with self-image. It was a great lesson for all of us reading!

SAN FRANCISCO

In SF a very busy businesswoman needs their service. Royce seems to think he is in love with Rochelle and Parker and Skyler have a major fight and fallout. Parker then breaks up with her and he is now making the whole team miserable because he is.

MONTREAL

Alexis Stanton needs help finding the mole in her business and the whole team is now in Montreal. Parker´s bad mood is getting harder to bear with he refuses to hear Skyler out. The work situation peaks and members of the team are feeling every second of it.

I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Wow--International Guy Volume 2 really kicks it up a notch -- this volume continues the travels of Parker, Bogart & Royce and what a journey it is! These volumes do continue from one into the other with a cliffhanger ending so you must read them in order but they are well worth it! Hot chemistry, interesting storyline, emotional and intense -- everything I love about this author's writing -- you can't go wrong! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

A great continuation of Parker’s story. It’s just like the first book and a rollercoaster ride that will leave you begging for more. This one also ends on a huge cliffhanger.

International Guy, Volume 2 by Audrey Carlan contains the books 4-6 Milan, San Francisco and Montreal.

Bo Parker and Royce´s business is thriving. They´re very successful in their field of work and their next case leads them to a fahion designer in Milan.
But more importantly, for Parker, is his relationship with Skyler. She loves him deeply, but his own insecurities and their job make a relationship difficult.

San Francisco is the next place of work for International Guy. A very busy businesswoman needs their service. And while Royce seems to find love, Parker and Skyler have a major fight and fallout. Parker, lead by his stubborn head breaks up with her and makes everyone miserable.

Montreal. Montreal is the installment with the most action and drama. Alexis Stanton needs help in finding the mole in her business and the whole team are up to Montreal. Parker´s bad mood is hard to bear with - but in typical Parker kind - he refuses to hear Skyler out.
The work situation peaks and members of the team are wounded. I literally sat at the edge of my seat reading this installment. My heart was bleeding for S P and M.

International Guy is mostly written in a single POV, a captivating read with characters I easily could connect with. I love Parker, Bo and Royce´s stories and can´t wait to read how the three friends find their maybe HEA.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy from Montlake Romance for my unbiased opinion of the book. Parker goes alone in a unique situation that has him wondering what he got himself into. This is the second book in the International Guy series and the story keeps getting better and better. When his next job is with is star crush Skylar a famous actress who has lost her will to act and live in general. When Parker starts helping her through her issues the sparks fly something fierce and after days of fighting their feelings, they both jump in headfirst with their eyes open. After a set of challenges and break them apart different challenges bring them together. I love the addition of Wendy to the firm, changes the dichotomy of Parker, Royce, Bo for the better! I couldn't read this book fast enough, I can't wait for instalment 3 and 4!

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.

In this installment of International Guy we find Parker vising Milan, San Fran, and Montreal. His business ethics are sometimes questionable when it comes to the women he's working with. Though now his girlfriend, Hollywood A-lister Skylar Page, keeps him in check.

I've enjoyed reading Parker's advice to the businesses he's working with in these stories.  He acts impulsively though in both business and personal. Doesn't tend to work out as well for him personally.  So you'll see a bit of drama in this round of International Guy.

It'll be up to Parker to pull his head out his behind in the next set of stories...which I'm looking forward to reading as well.
