I will admit I requested this book on Netgalley because of the Rolling Stones angle. I knew nothing about Robin Green. I didn't realize she wrote the Sapranos and on Blue Bloods.

This is a coming of age story about a woman who came into herself during the 60's and 70's. I found this book to be full of interesting tidbits about her journey at Rolling Stone and The Sapronos.

I liked this book and think that people who are a fan of the music industry and entertainment will enjoy this book.

Thank you Little Brown and Company and Netgalley for my free review copy.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. Robin's story is fascinating and well told. No surprise for the writer of The Sopranos. It's really three stories: a Jewish girl growing up in Rhode Island; The first woman writer on the masthead of Rolling Stone in the era of that magazines greatest impact; A career in television as the writer and creator of great TV shows.

I am not sure why people to feel the need to tell their stores when they are just not that interesting.. Self serving and not that interesting. Not a fan
