Unique take on The little mermaid. With Tara’s crazy fun style of writing it was a joy to read this book. Highly recommend for something lighthearted.

Only Tara Sivec can make you laugh out loud while writing about relevant topics. I absolutely loved the Princess series.

This has been on my list for some time because I hadn't meant to click the Netgalley widget. I did read the series, though, and enjoyed it immensely.

Tara Sivec is always a good choice for a humorous, lighthearted read with a healthy dose of steam. The entire princess series is a fun reimagining of traditional fairy tales, and this one was an entertaining read.

This is book 3 of the Naughty Princess Series. Ariel wants nothing more than to make it on her own. Unfortunately, her ex demands she pay her alimony, no matter that she is drowning in debt. When Eric comes into her life and offers support, she wonders if she can trust him. Can they find themselves and love with each other?

I am not sure I have ever laughed so hard while reading a book! Tara Sivec is a master of the rom-com genre and this story is the perfect example. It has so much sexual tension you can cut it with a knife, the female friendships are amazing, and the banter is top-notch. Highly recommend this series!

Title: Kiss the Girl
Author: Tara Sivec
Publication date: September 4th, 2018
Series: The Naughty Princess Club (3 of 3)

Summary: A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world?

Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after.

While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way.

When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find.

But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together?

Review: I tried to read this in 2018, here is take two on trying to read it. Oddly enough the first page reminded me why I stopped reading the book last time. I couldn't get over the fact that she literally used the Princess's names and their significant others as well for the whole series just throws me off. When I first asked to review this book I was excited because it was suggested that it was a retelling of the Disney stories. Unfortunately, Ariel is not actually a mermaid. I didn't read the first two in the series even though at the time I had wanted to. Ariel and her best friend's Cindy and Belle own a business called Naughty Princess Club. Cindy (Cinderella) is a house wife and Belle is a librarian. I probably would have been better off reading Belle's story. I was really excited for the mermaid factor. After I got over that though the book was truly fantastic. I need to read the first two in the series. Eric and Ariel have such amazing chemistry. I was always laughing at something in the book. Plus, it brought forward a lot of important topics without hitting them too hard. Like narcissistic husbands/boyfriends, changing who you are for a man. Hating your own body because of what someone else has said to you. Having to learn how to love yourself again. I absolutely loved this book. Tara Sivec you are an author I will be keeping my eye out for. WHY AM I ARIEL!!?? Every word that comes out of her mouth is hilarious and I always end up feeling like I've said something similar. Also, Ariel's dad is absolutely dad goals.

I have been waiting for Ariel’s book since the first one and it was SO good! She was the perfect blend of sassiness, humorous and she even showed her vulnerable side. I’m so glad we finally got her story and these are possibly the best fairytale retellings I’ve ever read! If you like romcom and want to laugh, I highly recommend these!

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

A fun take on princess's. I love Tara Sivec and her laugh out loud books. This book did have some great moments but I was not as enthralled with it as I am with her other rom-com series. A solid 3.5 star read. Kiss the Girl is a romantic take on Ariel and Eric from the Little Mermaid. Sebastian and Ursula makes an appearance as well as other princesses. It was short sexy read and enjoyable for anyone that enjoys laugh out loud and smutty romantic comedies.

A weird almost retelling of a Disney princess situation. While the story was funny and entertaining and the princess was definitely a modern woman some of that actually made it difficult to fall in love with the story itself. I found the main character cursed too much, and while I don't mind and will occasionally use such language myself it just seemed too often and almost forced at times. The actual story was really good, with an excellent love interest who is supportive and healing to her and teaches the main character to believe in love again. Funny and fast paced once you get past the dialogue, all in all a great read.

Three and a half stars. Kind of a tough book to review, as it’s a bit all over the place, The first half reads more like women’s fiction—Ariel had a bad divorce after a bad marriage, and is working to put herself back together and find the woman she is to be. Just when it’s getting bogged in down in the ‘Move on already’ stage, the second half becomes the romance storyline, complete with a boyfriend’s nasty mother. Both good storylines, just somewhat unconcordant. The friendship between these three women was enviable. They really know each other and support each other strongly. There’s lots of humor, much of it rather raunchy, and lots of bad language, but overall it works. I laughed a lot while I read it, much of the time with my eyebrows raised more than usual. A great job getting to the HEA in the end. I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. This is my freely given, honest review.

I loved the first two books in this series and I so desperately craved for Ariel’s story, but it wasn’t as exciting as I had hoped it would be. I wasn’t as invested in it as I was in the other 2 books. I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great read with a kick ass heroine and a sexy male lead who will steal your heart from the start and will have you glued to the book till the end. Ariel is an independent woman who has been dragged down to her lowest by her ex-husband. She is over the men in the world that think everything is about them and their needs. But Eric will have her looking into her heart and help her find the strength that she has always had inside. Their chemistry is off the charts and I love how they can joke and just be themselves around one another without having to walk on eggshells. Definitely a must read!

Kiss the Girl is the third book from the contemporary romance Naughty Princess Club series – loosely based on Disney fairytales. Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and this one Ariel and her own prince charming.
I like that Ariel is a feisty, witty, but she has too much of a potty mouth. She is struggling to get her business up and running but there was a setback – she got serve an eviction notice. Here come her knight and shining armor. Eric is a rich, powerful, and sexy as single business owner. He ready to jump in to the rescue. Sparks fly, romance is in full bloomed. Hot and sexy as sin. Love the hilarious banter, the sweet romcom, and the nice friendship between Ariel and her two best friends. Fun read!

Tara Sivec knows how to entertain us with a sassy heroine and a true prince charming that on the outside you wouldn't think fit together but once Eric gets passed all of that snarky humor Ariel uses to keep the wall around her you see that he is the perfect one for her...because he is the only one that can get passed all of her snarkyness.

This book had me laughing out loud so much at one point I was doubled over!

I’m sad that this is the last we will see of the Naughty Princess Club....maybe Tara will surprise us in the future with additional princesses. I for one really, really hope she does!

What a fun book to read! Full of humor from a very outspoken woman with quite the unique personality. Eric was the perfect match for Ariel. I love a patient and fun-loving guy who made this such an enjoyable read. Loved it! Book provided by NetGalley.

his book should come with a warning: DO NOT READ IN PUBLIC for fear of people thinking you may be crazy. Why? Because it will cause you to laugh like a lunatic at every page. I’m talking full belly laugh, tears in your eyes, laugh so hard you may pee sort of hilarity here. It was my favorite book in this series. And I loved the rest of this series, people! Maybe it’s in part because I’m convinced that the foul-mouthed, sassy, snarky yet with a hidden vulnerable side, Ariel, is actually my spirit animal.

"Ah-ha!” I shout, pointing at the smug little asshole across from me. “Now who looks like an idiot? I don’t use my phone for that. NO ONE USES THEIR PHONE FOR PHONE CALLS! WE USE THEM TO TEXT PEOPLE, TO GOOGLE RANDOM SHIT LIKE IF YOU CAN DIE FROM A RUNNY NOSE, AND TO FIND A FUNNY MEME ABOUT HERPES!”
“Oh, Jesus,” Cindy mutters.
“Please, don’t be difficult, ma’am,” the older deputy says with a sigh.
“Piss off. I’m not difficult. I’m a fucking delight,” I mutter in annoyance.

See what I mean? Spirit animal, people!
But she’s also the loudest and crudest of the three friends, and I loved her for it. The sexual tension between her and Eric was always sizzling. There’s just something about the hate/lust thing that they had going that just did it for me. Oh it did it for me so hard. Eric knows exactly how to handle Ariel, much to her annoyance. So when she finds herself evicted from her home and has to leave all her beloved antiques behind, he has no problem being her white knight. Even if she does threaten his life and his balls in the process.

Suddenly Ariel finds herself living on a neighboring yacht to Eric, who inherited his family yacht business and had one to spare. The sparring between them doesn’t decrease but the sexual tension only continues to mount. Add into that one evil looking hairless cat named Derrick Alfredo and all of the hilarity ensues.

Care to tell me why you’re holding a cat that’s inside out against your crotch?” my dad suddenly asks, pointing at Derrick Alfredo. “He . . . uh . . . likes the warmth. You know, since he doesn’t have any hair and he’s always cold. My dick warmth comforts him, sir,” Eric replies with a nervous clear of his throat. “And here I thought you were just covering up a boner. I like this guy, Ariel,” my dad states, clapping Eric on the shoulder before he walks over to the couch and makes himself comfortable.

I loved every single hilarious chapter. I adored the slow built sizzle between Ariel and Eric. I loved the way he just knows how to handle her and brings out the spot gooey side of this spitfire.
I also love the friendships between them all. The girls have a bond to put Sex And The City to shame. I adore their friendship and the way they care for each other. I also love the heck out of their banter.

"This is such a good idea. You’re so pretty and smart. We should make out.”
“Jesus, Belle, stop trying to kiss me. We’ve got important smit to do. Slit to do. Shiffy do.”
“I think the words you’re looking for are ‘shit to do.’”
“STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO PJ! I’VE GOT SHIFFY DO!”
“My teeth feel funny. Do I still have teeth, Vincent?”
“You still have teeth, sweetheart.”

I loved every single page of this hilarious romcom. I never wanted it to end. I adore the devious comedic mind of Tara Sivec and the way her characters practically leap out of the pages at you. If you’re looking for a book to put a ridiculous smile on your face for days after you finish it, this is simply a must read. A. Must. Read.

Ariel Waters is having a bad day. Wait, make that a bad year. Not only did her husband take away her confidence but he is now her ex-husband and taking her money by getting alimony from her. And Ariel cannot really afford that payment. She quickly discovers that ignoring a financial institution’s phone messages and mailed correspondence does not make a debt disappear - Ariel finds her house and beloved antiques taken over by the bank! Enter her beloved friends Cynthia and Belle to keep her upright and from getting arrested. But this wouldn’t be a fairytale without a prince to the rescue….

This book is flat-out hysterical, so beware when reading in public! Ariel sprinkles f-bombs in abundance when she feels cornered, which these days is often. Her fellow Naughty Princesses are her perfect posse. And her prince? Frenemy Eric Sailor is knows just how to handle prickly Ariel. His blend of wit, kindness and dimples manages to save Ariel’s day!

This author was new to me, but no longer. I really liked Ms. Sivec’s writing style, even done in a “normally-I-do-not-like” 1st person voice. The comedy, the sweet, the steamy (oh yeah, it gets hot) are all blended together to create a very enjoyable read! I plan on sitting back and reading the first 2 books in this series pronto!
