Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec was a sexy and laugh-out-loud funny story that I absolutely loved. Ariel and Eric's story was full of emotion and hilarious banter.

Sivec did a great job with both Ariel and Eric's characters. I lost count of how many times I burst out laughing at the things that came out of Ariel's mouth. She was so foul-mouthed and sassy, yet lovable at the same time. Once her past was exposed, the reader is given a clear understanding of her personality and what drives her. Eric was surprisingly sweet and so thoughtful and understanding. The way he was with Ariel was so endearing. The two of them were perfect together, but their journey was not without conflict. The author wove a great storyline that really made me believe in their relationship and the feelings that developed between them.

Kiss the Girl was a thoroughly enjoyable story. The writing was great and the plot flowed smoothly. The humorous elements were perfectly balanced with the emotional ones, I am a huge fan of this series and while each book was unique in its own way, I have to say that this one was my favorite. I look forward to reading more of Sivec's work in the future.

Unfortunately this just wasn’t the book for me. I just couldn’t get into it and I didn’t like the MC. I thought she was way too over the top.

I absolutely LOVED this whole series, but I think that this installment was my absolute favorite! I could honestly relate alot to Ariel and what she went thru with her ex husband. Eric was just adorable in every aspect i adored him the whole story and kept me completely interested and hooked til the very end... I wish there was more but I can't wait to see what she's got next!

This is a unique and fun contemporary romance. I truly enjoyed so much about this book, including the Little Mermaid and princess tie in. I loved the friendship between modern era Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella counterparts. I found this to be a fast moving and quick to read story. Although this is the third and final book of The Naughty Princess Club series, my experience is that this can be read as a standalone as I have not yet read the first two books and was able to fall right into the storyline.

As much as there was that I enjoyed, I did greatly dislike Ariel's constant foul language. I found it jarring and distasteful, and it tended to take me out of the story. I think it was used to characterize her as a young woman who had a tough exterior, but it didn't work for me. This may not be an issue for other readers, but it did impact my rating and enjoyment.

Another thing I enjoyed about this book was the creative way that the Little Mermaid characters and storyline were echoed. This wasn't a strict retelling, but there are plenty of cute and recognizable nods to the famous animated movie. It was also fun that while there was so much to recognize about the fairy tale, the main character, Ariel, mentions that her name is the same as "the" princess, so the reader sees the parallels while the characters may or may not. As could be inferred from the "naughty princess" title, there are some fairly explicit scenes and conversations.

Other than a warning for the foul language, I recommend this for mature readers who are willing to suspend disbelief and go along for a unique experience.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...

We finally have the story of Ariel and Eric and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. Ariel is still her crazy self but now we learn the truth about her marriage. Now as for Eric, there are truly no words to describe how awesome and swoon-worthy Eric is and I loved him so much. The way he completely understood what Ariel needed and wanted was so sweet. I wanted more Ariel, Eric and definitely more Derrick Alfredo, it was all so entertaining. But it was definitely not smooth sailing for our couple especially with the unexpected arrivals of exes and meddling mamas.

I was so sad when it ended! I wanted more but I did love the epilogues that showed us the future of our Naughty Princesses.

4 Saving Your Own F&@king Self Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free
When you think about all the fairy tales we have been raised on, it is usually the damsel in distress and the man rides in and saves her making it a Happily Ever After. This has been the standard forever. But recently, to quote a 1985 song written by Annie Lennox and David Allan Stewart of Eurythmics and recorded as a duet with American soul/R&B singer Aretha Franklin:

"Now there was a time when we used to say
That behind every great man
There had to be a great woman
But in these times of change
You know that it's no longer true
So we're comin' out of the kitchen
'Cause there's somethin' we forgot to say to you (we say)

Sisters are doin' it for themselves
Standin' on their own two feet
And ringin' on their own bells
Said, sisters are doin' it for themselves"

Yes, Sisters are doin' it for themselves!

This was what The Naughty Princess Club Series was ALL about. Tara Sivec took the stories we grew up with and twisted them into engaging current Cinderella, Beauty and Beast and this last entry, The Little Mermaid.

These books do not have to read in order... yet when they are, they add more punch.

In Kiss the Girl...we have Ariel. She has been the most mouthy and in your face character. She is part of this women trio who all were either trapped by a domineering father or experienced a horrible marriage. Ariel had a husband who over time made her doubt herself and feel as if her body wasn't up to par.

The joke was that Ariel she was amazing in her ability to run her antique business and she actually had a smokin' hot body with a beautiful face. But most of all she had passion and a huge heart. Oh, and she had a mouth that would shock the most corrupt sailor....

Yes, Ariel had No Shame in her Game... in fact that was her way of fronting and not letting anyone know she might have something to be insecure about. She was a constant in your face type of gal with sarcasm and cutting humor galore.

These woman had created this home stripping business out of shock and necessity. They each divided the responsibilities and Ariel was doing all of the paperwork...

But things got out of sorts because Ariel was having a tough time recognizing how serious her financial situation was... she had turned a blind eye not wanting to deal with the foreclosure of her home. She already had to close her antique store and the idea of losing all of her things she had in her home was too much. She had tried to get a roommate and had made a few payments...

Yet, when Ariel ends up coming home after a day with the gals who were trying to cheer her up, the sheriffs are there ready to impound her house. Her friends call in re-reinforcements, their new boyfriends and Eric, the co owner of the strip club.

Eric Sailor is a man who knows what he wants...and what he wants is Ariel. From the first moment they crossed paths and she told him to F@#k off, he was smitten. He loved her passion, her fire and the woman who was in his face. Eric felt drawn to her and decided then and their he was going to wait and find his moment to pursue her.

Seeing his in-his-mind-woman so defeated and lost, Eric knew how to get her moving. He started immediately pushing her buttons to get her pissed instead of meek. By doing that, he was able to get her to figure out what she needed to save out of her house. Little did Ariel know, she was going to move into one of the yachts he had in the harbor.

These two start to have this relationship that Ariel doesn't understand. She first thought she hated Eric... he was too arrogant, too full of himself and way to handsome with dimples, no less...But over time, he begins to break down her walls and build up her self esteem.

This story was the last of the series and in many ways it has become a favorite of the readers. For me, the main draw was Eric...I would like one of him PLEASE. STAT! He had everything going for him and how he took his time with Ariel was perfect...

Ariel was a special type of woman. She was someone who was in your face almost 24/7. I found her fun and quick for a lot of the time... but there was a point where it was a lot, too. I got who she was and appreciated all she had gone through. I wanted her to have the HEA she thought she wasn't going to have... and was thrilled when everything came together.

The book has a perfect epilogue for this current fairy tale series and Tara Sivec has made a terrific name for herself.

Very sad to see the last of the Naughty Princess Club trilogy! Can we please get some more fiercely independent and foul-mouthed princesses to join the club?
He has dimples. Dimples make women stupid, and I refuse to be stupid over a man ever again.
Ariel may be the fiercest of the founding Naughty Princesses but Eric takes the cake as the sweetest. This is a guy who clearly adores Ariel for all of her crazy quirks and hair trigger temper. Ariel's constant need to battle the world was at times exhausting but Eric remained a cheerful constant as he encouraged her to find her self-confidence again. I think I fell in love with Eric when he joined in Ariel's GATTACA! GATTACA! war cry and it just got better and better (hello, GOGA).

Of all three Naughty Princess Club novels, this one really turned the Disney fairy tale on its ear. Every critical character is there: Ariel, Eric, Sebastian (not a good guy!), Flounder (all ten of them!), Ursula (boo), and best of all, King Triton (love Ariel's dad). Even with the steamy scenes and laugh=out shenanigans, the most appealing part of this final installment was the underlying theme of empowerment. Go girl power! I loved the line about the three princesses who saved themselves, while slaying in stilettos, and like I said before, there needs to be more naughty princesses who save and slay.

I am new to Tara Sivec and I honestly don’t know why. This was such an entertaining read! It was a laugh out loud funny romantic comedy with plenty of good story line and hot sexy times. I mean seriously, that lap dance was hot, hot, hot!! Love this real world take on the fairy tale! Eric and Ariel’s back and forth is just hysterical and their chemistry is crazy hot even if at first it seems Ariel would never consider Eric to be anything more than an annoyance. But he works his charm and his way under her skin and into her heart in the most unsuspecting sweetest ways. I love the friendship between Ariel, Belle and Cindy and definitely need to read their stories now as well.

Thank you to Netgalley for this ARC!

Warning you all - do not read any part of this book in a place where you cannot freely laugh, giggle, snort, cheer, shed a few tears, and swoon! These emotions will catch you off guard, and unexpectedly, so not part of this book is safe, trust me

Ariel is loud, brash, upfront, forthright, and determined to make it on her own. She projects confidence, authourity, and an overabundance of strength and determination. These are all the things Ariel wants to be, and her sarcasm helps her achieve them. They also are a front, and she is clearly faking it until she can make it. She will achieve these items on her own, no man, no matter how good he smells, or the goosebumps she breaks into around him, will give her these things

Eric fell for Ariel, in all her glory, the moment he met her. There isn't anyone else for him, and when he has an opportunity to make her his, he doesn't hesitate. He doesn't want to give Ariel anything, he wants to be by her side while he achieves her goals and becomes her own woman. A few roadblocks, mostly set be Ariel, are in his way, but nothing is going to stop him from getting his princess

There is a lot of yelling and name calling in this book, but once you get to the why's, it becomes endearing, and softer, sweeter. The epilogue brings this perfectly together, with all our Princess' getting their happily ever afters, just what they need, different for them each. At the core, as always, the three strong woman who were down, but not out, and found their strength and independence in each other. Now, when Anastasia grows up.......

Kiss the Girl (The Naughty Princess Club, #3) by Tara Sivec This is third and final book in THE NAUGHTY PRINCESS CLUB series. Thanks to #NetGalley for allowing me to preview this book. Ariel Waters has a louse of an ex who she is paying alimony to who also has used verbal and mental abuse to put her down. She has lost her antique store and more because of him. Eric Sailor is a millionaire playboy who comes to her rescue... There are so many feelings... laughter, tears, romance, angst, close friends and very hot steamy sex. We get to reconnect with Cindy and PJ, Belle and Vincent and Belle's daughter which is fun and lets not forget Derrick.. All this and some great HEA's.

I did have a few issues with this novel. Overall, it wasn't too bad. I'm not sure I would recommend it unless I know the person really likes Disney or is into erotica--there really isn't too much sex in it now that I think about it.

This is Book three of The Naughty Princess Club. I felt that I needed to go back and read the first two book before this one since I spent the entire first two chapters completely lost. I struggled with figuring out the characters and their roles within the novel. The overly used Disney princess theme was overkill. All the characters in the series are characters from Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Mermaid. Kiss the Girl is a spiff off of Little Mermaid. The main character is a sassy, attitudal Ariel who has self confidence issues due to her verbally abusive ex-husband, Sebastian. With the help of her friends, Belle and Cindy, Ariel is creating the Naughty Princess Club where a client can order a stripper for a home show. Ariel is the only one of the three who has yet to schedule a show or step foot on Charming's Gentlemen Club stage.

Eric knew from the moment he met Ariel that she was perfect for him. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with this sassy redhead with a mouth that would put a sailor to shame. Eric Sailor knows the sailor he would like her to shame--too bad Ariel doesn't have any of her self-confidence. Eric is going to help her with that. She is too precious and gorgeous not to. He doesn't show her with compliments instead he yells at her when she's in the midst of getting evicted from her foreclosed home with all her precious antiques. He doesn't put up with her crap either. He gives it as good as she dishes it.

Ariel met her match when Eric's mother, Ursula asks to meet. Ursula, who is the head of the business council and personally told Ariel that her business license was denied. Ursula also invited Vanessa, Eric's childhood friend who Ursula wanted to be Eric's wife--Vanessa also resembles Ariel.

But the cliches don't stop here--Cindy's daughter Anastasia records Ariel's meltdown on Snapchat. Cindy's boyfriend, PJ (Princeton James Charming) helps pick the three girls up after Ariel's meltdown after breaking up with Eric the day after the lunch with Ursula.

Oh and Eric's family owns a yacht business--Eric loves boats. The story had a bit too much Disney in it for me especially since the three women have a stripping business. Back to the storyline. Eric does slowly bring Ariel's confidence back so much so that she is able to confront not only her ex--but also Ursula.

> > Judging a Book by its Cover < <
Cute couple. They look like young adults, happy, carefree. They give off a light, fun vibe.
The synopsis sounds fun and I look forward to the fairy tale telling. I have not read the previous two books to this story (in fact, this is the first book I’ve read by this author) and am hoping that it will stand strongly on its own.

> > Looking Deeper < <
POV ~> First-person, Ariel’s perspective.

Rude, mean, disrespectful, and just downright bitchy. These are just a few choice words I had about the heroine of this novel. No one was safe from her scathing looks, barbed tongue or physical threats, not friends, not family, not even the authorities! She was, literally, almost too dislikable for me and I’d seriously entertained the idea of quitting at 24% and checking it off as a DNF because of how distasteful I found her.
Eric sees past that defensive, prickly-as-hell outer shell somehow and knows just how to slowly and painstakingly pull Ariel out of bitch mode. He’s kind, patient, and sincere. I really liked him and his easy way about things. He managed to coax a nicer version of Ariel out and made the story much more entertaining… particularly the Goga scene… That was priceless.
I loved all of the fun little Mermaid tie-ins and silly references and insertions into the story but the “humor” was often not my style. It felt forced in some places. Having not read Cindy/PJ nor Belle/Vincent prior to this, the story provided enough history so new readers would not feel lost or left behind. The ending provided a nice epilogue for each of the girls, too.
There were some conflicts along the way and all were resolved by the end. Predictability was low.
After the first quarter of the book, I did find that the story became much more enjoyable.

oh, this was such a fun book! what a wonderful end to such a fabulous series. i will admit, the first book i read from this author really did not work for me and i requested at the stroke of midnight based on the cover and synopsis, not realising it was the same author. once i received it and realised, i almost didn't read it and that would have been so stupid! i'm so glad i gave it a go because it was so fun and sexy, the friendship between the 3 girls was fabulous and i just loved it. then i loved the second one and i was champing at the bit waiting for this one! as soon as i got it, i knew i wouldn't be waiting until closer to the release date - i read it immediately and it was every bit as fabulous as the first 2.

these books are silly and ridiculous and SO.MUCH.FUN. i laughed several times, swooned a little, they were sexy AF but actually had a story and plot... loved them all. i love a good fairytale retelling and i love all the messages in these books - especially in this one, the author dealt with the whole ex brought her down and ruined her self confidence thing SO WELL. it felt super realistic and i loved the whole thing.

and i just loved eric. swoooooon. like hardcore, he made the book for me. i mean, i loved ariel, don't get me wrong, but swoon.

my favourite thing about these books (besides the guys, gah) is the friendship the girls have. i just love that, i love how they help each other and make each other stronger. i just really love these girls.

that's all from me really, i really enjoyed this series and though i didn't enjoy the first tara sivec book i read, this series has put her on my 'authors i will definitely read again' list.

now, i just have one teeeeeeeny tiny complaint and i realise it's ridiculous.... but. at the end in that *adorable* epilogue, belle and vincent are in their interview at USCIS and they are asking the questions that the government asks when you marry a US citizen etc etc etc, but then they say his citizenship is approved. you can't just skip the permanent residency/green card and go straight to citizenship. unless you've been a lawful resident for exactly 5 years, and if that were the case, they wouldn't be asking belle and vincent questions regarding their marriage. now i KNOW this is ridiculous and most people wouldn't even notice let alone be bothered, but there you go. it bothered me just a smidgen and moving on now.

*Book Received in Exchange for Honest Opinion/Review*

This book was a f*ckin delight! I have been excited for Ariel's book since her loud mouth busted onto the scene, screaming, cussing, and causing chaos. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint, if anything it exceeded my expectations. I was trying desperately to savor it because it's the last book in the series but lets be honest...I couldn't put the d*mn book down!

First let me talk about the characters, Ariel was so much more than who she was seen as in the early books. This woman is filled with depth and has been to h*ll and back. I felt for her and to see her so broken from her ex-husband had me in rage. But watching her become the sassy, no sh*t, confident AF woman we all know she is was awe-inspiring. I want to be Ariel...I think we could all benefit from having a little bit of Ariel in our life. Now I know I said PJ was my favorite....and then Beast, but lets be real, ERIC SAILOR is the BEST! Seriously, I was swooning so hard for him. His ability to read Ariel and know what she needs had me sighing all the feels. Not only is he drop-dead sexy but he is witty, charming, and was sweeping me off my feet with his heartfelt confessions that were balanced with a heavy dose of sexual tension.

The banter between Ariel and Eric had me in a fit of giggles. You know the old school 80s movies where a teenager lays on the bed and rolls around giggling and chatting...that was me with this book. I couldn't stop, I was just crushing and blushing so hard. In contrast to Cindy and Belle's book, I was so thankful that Ariel and Eric's wasn't as much of a slow burn. I mean this has been building up for three books now and I was going to combust just from the electricity in the air when these two are in the same room. Seriously, make sure you have a nice, tall glass of ice water going into this book, you will need it.

I loved that Ariel and Eric had to fight for their love. From a garbage pile of an ex-husband to a toxic mother (seriously, she is the f*ckin worst!), things just kept finding a way to come between them. But with a little meddling from their friends, they get the happily ever after they deserve. The epilogue was by far the best part of the book, I was holding back tears and sighing in content as Tara fulfilled all my hearts desires. She not only gave these characters closure and wrapped everything up in neat, little bows, but she gave us readers closure. I can honestly say I closed the book and its been a couple hours and I am still sitting her smiling over it.

An absolutely hilarious series, with an epic conclusion, I cannot recommend it enough. Light-hearted, fun, and will leave you smiling for days and feeling all the feels.

A "Naughty Princess Club" bringing laughter, hilarity and total absurdness help to bring the reader to a place that is so much fun! Each page of reading wanted the main heroine of the book to succeed beyond measure and find the right combination of love, laughter and friendship in her life. Thoroughly enjoyable and so much fun to read! Thank you for the opportunity to have read this book prior to publication--it was thoroughly enjoyed!

I want to be Ariel when I grow up! I loved her outburst, her dirty mouth and her affection towards her friends. She comes off incredibly abrasive, because she’s built a wall around herself. She’s the last of the Naughty Princess Club. She struggles with self-confidence, as well as doubting herself as her ex was a douche.

In strolls Eric, a wealthy gentleman who has a stake in Charming’s but also has a couple yachts. He’s drawn to Ariel. He strokes the fire inside because he understands her. He is one of the swooniest hero in this series.

Ariel and Eric navigate the through mucky bone deep feelings that couple go through. But holy goodness. The sexuality prowess when these two are together is magic! They were magic. Eric led Ariel to find voice, again. She always had it.

This. This right here is why I LOVE THIS BOOK! It doesn’t get any truer than this!! “One who doesn’t take your power or your independence away. Once who lifts you up instead of putting you down. One who is proud to stand by your side and fight whatever battle he can, not because he doesn’t think you can do it on your own, but because he can’t handle standing by and doing nothing. Because he truly cares about you.”

Tara Sivec mixes hysterical laughter, almost to the point of peeing, with heartfelt situations individuals and couples struggle through. I was consumed by this book. A top 2018 read for me. A book that will stay with me.

This series is so good. Funny, entertaining, romantic. Ariel's character in this book is definitely not the sweet/quiet/shy Ariel we all grew up with. I was cracking up so much because Ariel is outspoken, crude, rude and super feisty.

Ariel is losing her home because ever since her divorce and her loser ex-husband issues, she falls behind on her mortgage. Her house, her antiques, the things that make her the happiest, she's losing. Enter Eric, a pain in her side, but she definitely has a thing for him. When Eric met Ariel the first time, her first words to him were F*** Off....Well, it does the total opposite for him, he wants her and he wants her to fall madly in love with him. While she crashes on one of his yachts, she tries to stay away from him or push him away but he is quite irresistible. There are issues with the business license for the Naughty Princesses, enter in Ursula. Just perfect! I don't want to give too much away but this book was awesome!

The relations and intermixings of 'The Little Mermaid' were so perfect. I love the 'Flounders', Flounder 1, Flounder 2 and so on.....I laughed so much in this book, this is definitely one of my favorite rom coms and Ariel is my favorite in this series!!! Ms. Sivec did such a fantastic job with these 3 books! The banter, the writing, the drama...perfect....Definitely add this to your TBR!

Let me start by saying that although this is the third book, it's the first book that I've read in this series and it can be read as a standalone. I've read other books from this author and enjoyed them so I was excited to read this story. This story wasn't for me. I liked most of the characters in the book; well every character except one of the main characters, Ariel. From the very beginning of the story Ariel acted crazy, dramatic, bitter, childish and too over the top and I was hoping that along the way she would mature some but she was aggravating me whole story. Not only with her actions aggravating, but how she spoke to people and her friends grated on my nerves. I truly disliked her and it's hard to like a story when you dislike one of the main characters even if you do enjoy the side characters. Maybe if I had read the previous books I would have been accustomed to her actions and antics but I didn't and this one was just too much. This story just wasn't for me.

Kiss the Girl is book three in the Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec. I just did finish this book and feel like gushing I loved it so much. Maybe it was even my favorite of the three. This series is a trio of fairy tale retellings. First we had Cinderella, next Beauty and the Beast, now we have Ariel and her very own prince charming, Eric. These are three women who have all hit rock bottom. Together they found friendship and support and came up with a way to regain their independence, to get their feet back under them again, by starting a stripping business.

Thanks to her ex-husband, Ariel Waters lost everything. During their years married, he slowly stripped her of every ounce of self confidence. Even now, when she looks in the mirror, she still sees the woman he told her she was, not good enough. Cindy and Belle are both dancing now for their business. But Ariel, even though she puts on a blustery show, is only doing the administrative duties for their business. She just can’t put herself out there. Now, on top of everything else, she is losing the only things she has left to call her own, her house and her antiques that she collected, because she couldn’t keep up the mortgage payments.

Ever since Ariel met Eric Sailor, it seemed like he did everything possible to antagonize her. So why is it that whenever he was anywhere near her, just the sound of his voice or the smell of his cologne would raise goosebumps? On the day when everything fell apart, it was Eric that seemed to know just the right thing to say and do to help her.

As Ariel gets to know Eric better, she sees the real Eric that she didn’t notice before. The good man, the man that really sees her! He makes her laugh, and he looks at her like she’s his everything.

But, the waters aren’t all smooth sailing for these two. This story also comes with an evil witch. And she does NOT want Ariel to get her happy ending. What Ariel does have, in addition to a man who adores her, is two best friends. And when things go down hill for Ariel, they are right there for her in the most hilarious of ways.

This story has everything. Ariel’s Dad is hilarious. And with these three women, there is constant craziness. There might even be some goat yoga involved!

Can you read this as a stand alone? Yes. But, then you wouldn’t really understand the closeness of these three women and what they have all gone through to get where they are now. I feel like this book was a little longer than the others? I’m not positive about that. What I am positive about is how much I loved it. I also loved the way Tara Sivec wrapped everything up with all three couples. It was perfect.

So get those one click fingers busy and get started on this series. Get to know Cindy, Belle and then Ariel and the men who love them. Prepare to laugh, sigh, swoon, maybe even cringe a time or two. And prepare to fall in love, just as I have.
